  • EasyQ BBQ

5 of the most wonderful people I know joined YHC to break bread with about 10 more amazing individuals.

Warmarama: Pulled BBQ Chicken, ColeSlaw, Buns, Mac & Cheese, Green Beans, Yams, Cookies, Tea and Lemonade.

The Thang: With the unexpected warm weather, it was perfect timing for an old favorite. Hot off the Smoker – Pulled BBQ chicken, Mac & Cheese and a couple of other sides, dessert and drinks. It was the perfect comfort meal to share.

Moleskin: One of my best friends from high school wanted to get the families together on Sunday. Well, I said, “I have the perfect place in mind”, but we’ll have to bring the food and about 10 more will be joining us. Without hesitation, he asked “what can we bring”.

The 2.0’s had a great time serving meals to everyone. They both made cookies – which were a big hit. I’m grateful we had the chance to stay and break bread together, what a great way to close out 2024, surrounded with good food and good people.

Breaking Bread is on the Q sheet, don’t miss it for 2025. Let’s Go!!

OYSTER – my cup is overflowing.

Cookie made it in record time from his home to the AO. (Well done, Cookie). Thanks, Fudd for crossing the river today, great to see you buddy. Lurch brings the pain to the PAX with the slow arm raises. (Wise choice on KB weight). Thanks for letting me lead today. Purple Rain you back next week?

Four Corners with a long Mosey inspired from a Handshake First Watch Q. Where it seems that each corner was a mile apart. Anyone from Mary check to see if Bodo’s was still in someone’s back yard? Thanks for letting me lead today.

Moleskin: Not much to see here—it was dark. The Seniors were rolling in quite early this morning, and I later found out why. Today is Senior Sunrise, a tradition where the graduating class gathers at their school to watch the sunrise together, marking the beginning of their final year of high school. It’s a moment of reflection, excitement, and anticipation for what lies ahead. Oh, to be young again! Wishing them all a fantastic year!

Well done today boys. YHC was a bit ambitious with the running Qs this week. River Run on Monday, WaThoHuk on Wed and Currahee on Friday. We got it though! Let’s go!”

Bodo’s and I were a bit disappointed that no one knew what happened here at Forest Hill Park on Saturday and that they were getting ready to play with The Champs Chimps. Great to see Honeydo and Hardywood putting in the work for the 2025 Roger Roger F3 RVA Pickleball Tournament. Let’s Go!!!
