  • Bodos’ lessons in grace

4:24 YHC rolls over to see he had 36 more minutes of sleep left, so YHC put the phone under YHC’s pillow so the alarm wouldn’t wake up his M. 5:27 YHC wakes up and realizes the sound on the alarm never went off and YHC was the Q.

YHC gets to Hoedown as quickly as possible wondering if he will be able to find everyone. Luckily Bodo’s had the thought to go over to the Third Church parking lot for a COP since he knew YHC was going to head for the Coupons

YHC caught up with the guys and Bodos graciously handed the Q back over.

YHC took the Pax over to the far Parking Lot and grabbed the Coupons.

A couple rounds of Triple Check to work on the Arms/Abs/Chest.

Announcements – Dry July is happening. See Slack/Google Sheets for details.

Prayer Requests – Charlottes, YHC’s M’s Cousins Daughter went to the Hospital the other day and they found fluid on her lungs. They are trying to figure out what it is and we are praying the Cancer has not moved. Continued Prayers for Mary, Fudds sister. The Cancer is stable and prayers that it stays like that. Prayers for all the families impacted by the Floods in Texas, truly a tragedy.

NMS – YHC was appreciative of the graciousness of the Pax. Worst fear of F3 is to miss a Q, second worst fear is to be late.

  • Don’t tell Swirly how late this backblast was posted…

    15 men gathered for Dogpile

Tryhard sent out a text earlier in the week that Slaughter (F3 Charlotte) was in town and going to be at Dogpile. A couple Pax members texted saying they were going o be out of town so YHC decided to grab the Q.

Clock struck 0600 and we took off. It took all of 5 steps for YHC to feel the nagging pain in his knee. YHC knew of the issue but was hoping it would be better, but it wasn’t. The Pax was likely expecting a run-heavy Q but it was going to be the opposite.

YHC led the Pax in various exercises in the Amphitheater and on the Carillon steps. It was a Chest and Ab heavy workout.

Announcements – 4th of July workout at Daville, 0700. Home Run Derby at Robious Elementary School on July 15th (instead of No Toll), Monday Pickelball at Forest Hill Park.

Prayer Requests – none mentioned, only the unmentioned

NMS – thanks for the patience of the Pax for a Dogpile with some of the lowest step count ever recorded

  • Itchy grass and too much sun

YHC double dipped a V Posting and V Q at The Crossing. YHC was very inspired by the format of this years Summer Tour and the bonus point for Qing that YHC decided to attend a AO that’s traditionally very hard to attend given YHC’s work schedule. It was good to see the regulars (Tryhard, Broadway, Chaplin), the Summer Tourers (Pigskin, Blue Moon, Senor Frog), and the new faces (Cavity Search, Ghostbuster, Magnum PI (FNG), Birdman).

Triple Checks, Touch a Tree, Pencil Rolls, etc were completed. It was warmer than mornings but the humidity was low and the breeze was nice. The grass it awful though. I’m just glad it wasn’t July.

Announcements – Father’s Day workout at The Forge on Sunday morning at 0700. Bring your 2.0’s or Tryhard said you can always borrow one haha.

Prayer Request – Magnum PI’s Grandfather has Cancer and is going through treatment.

NMS – Welcome to Magnum PI (FNG). Pigskin/Blue Moon were telling Birdman, Magnum PI, Ghost Buster, and Cavity Search about the other AO’s, times of day, and format. Hopefully we will see them pop up somewhere else soon. #KubotaSlackLurker

  • It’s not Broga if there’s no Savasana

3 gathered, stretching happened, it was nice. We ended properly with Savasana.

  • I don’t understand what was so confusing…. What wasn’t said was implied.

11 men gathered to see what randomness Handshake was going to bring to Dogpile.

Traveling COP – we made our way from The Flag over to Maymont Nature Center Parking Lot doing various exercises on the way.

Mosey over to Maymont neighborhood and over to YHC’s first house on South Meadow. After Bodo’s comment about “it looking like a shed” (insert eye roll) we completed 69 Monkey Humpers. We also saw lots of Deer, one was even stalking Gomer in the street and eyeballing Bodo’s.

Mosey over to the Maymont Parking Lot for a couple of Triple Checks and a Pencil Roll in the wet grass.

Mosey back to the flag and complete 20 Boo-Yeah Hand Release Merkins.

Announcements – Hermes. The Bridge. Today. Upchuck made a proclamation and returned property to Faceplant.

    Prayer Requests – none

NMS – Fun times. YHC Q’s like Jazz. Ever changing, and non-sensical. Thanks for the opportunity.

  • UnSharted Territory

10 hombres gathered to see what THE Handshake had planned for Heartbreak Ridge.

YHC got out of the car at 0529 and heard Atilla making jokes at Honeydos expense, 30 seconds of “pleasantries” and the clock his 0530 and we began to mosey. Circle up at the base of the Track at Quioccasin for a COP.

Mosey down Quioccasin and across to Westridge. And turn right at Westridge where it and Camrose split. Start at house 1 and complete 10 HRM’s, mosey to house 2 and complete 20 WWII’s, mosey to house 3 and complete 30 Squats, mosey to house 4 and complete 40 SSHH’s, mosey to house 5 and complete 5 Single Leg Imperial Walkers. Repeat this 3 times to make it the 15 houses to the end of Stoneridge.

Atilla remarked that YHC led the Pax to a dead end, but alas it was not a dead end, it was just the beginning. Mosey the pathway to the back of the Law Office on Gaskins. Group up for a Triple Check. P1 – runs the Parking Lot, P2 Heels to Heaven, P3 Monkey Humpers.

After the Triple Check we lined up for a Pencil Roll about 12-ish Parking Spaces. YHC, Fudd, and Offshore were committed to the full Pencil Rolls, the other aged Paxed have thiccer fluid in their ears and couldn’t handle the full distance. To be fair, it was awful.

Start the Mosey back to the flag. Mosey 5 houses and then 2 back and complete 20 of an exercise, do that until we get back to Quioccasin and Mosey to the flag.

Announcements – CSAUP this weekend/Friday night. The Bridge on May 10th with Hermes, see Slack.

    Prayer requests – None

NMS – YHC was happy to see an empty Q sheet on Sunday so he could sign up. It was also nice to have Honeydo in attendance. New territory was discovered which was even better

  • Door number 1 or Door number2?

5:29:38 YHC pulls into the full Parking Lot of guys eager for a good beatdown. Quick mosey around the big Parking Lot and we circled up to Warmup. After Warmup was complete YHC asked the Pax if they wanted Door number 1 or Door number 2. Not a single Pax member raised their hands for Door number 1.

Various exercises were done, its was a good time. Glad to see so many smiling faces.

Announcements – The Bridge on April 26th with Corned Beef and May 10th with Hermes.

Prayer Requests – Vinny lost his Father In Law last Tuesday after a battle with Brain Cancer, prayers for the Sievers and Johnson family. Pigskins Daughter/Piglets Wife Johanna is going in for a C-Section. Prayers for a smooth birth and a happy and healthy baby.

NMS – good times with good people.

  • Nobody remembers $hit

After a weeklong cruise and a busy week at work YHC struggled to get out of the Fartsack this week. YHC signed up to Q for motivation. EF Hutton even joked that it was a Q by an FNG.

Various exercises were completed to include 22’s on the Field, a failed Sextex Check, and never ending Pull Up rotations.

Good times were had by all, great jokes.

Announcements – The Bridge on April 26th with Corned Beef, May 10th with Hermes. Breaking Bread is covered for April.

Prayer Requests – Vinny/Vinny’s family at the passing of his MIL. Prayers for Kubotas brother’s Family at the sudden passing of his brothers MIL.

NMS – thanks for the opportunity to Q

  • Who got that Q?

At 2200 hours on Sunday, March 23rd YHC checked the Q sheet and saw it was empty. YHC felt compelled to rectify the situation and signed up.

0529 hours on Monday, March 24th YHC pulled into the Parking Lot to see a crowd of men looking for their Q. Cheers of jubilation we let out scaring the neighbors.

0530 hours we stepped off following Senor Frog. 5 steps in a hard right was taken so that Senor Frog could remember who the Q was. We moseyed down Lindsay for a warm up. Various exercises completed. Next up grab 2 partners for a Triple Check. 1st man runs to the 6th car on the left (not the first car on the right, insert eye towards Valadelay).

Next up mosey back to the 6th car on the right. P1 Bernies up the Hill, P2 does 5 WWII’s then Bernies, P3 does 10 WWII’s then Bernie. When P1 gets to the top he does 15 WWII’s.

    Prayer Requests – none

NMS – good times. A new exercise was officially released today, The Senor Frog Release Merkin. It will exercise you Arms/Shoulders/Back

  • Substitute Q

0500 YHC’s alarm goes off, feeling exhausted YHC was on the verge of turning the alarm off and fartsacking when YHC heard his M stirring. YHC knew his alarm had woken her up and if he did not get up she would be heavily annoyed. YHC quietly walked down the stairs and went to turn off his alarm and there was a text from the Q saying he had to bail. YHC was glad he didn’t fartsack or HBR would be Q-less. YHC couldn’t imagine the Pax without a leader to keep in check. YHC would rise to the occasion.

0530 struck and we’re off, running in a abnormal direction. YHC could hear one Pax member comment that they hadn’t been there in a little bit and everything had seemed to change. We saw the lights of Roger Roger’s truck so we looped back but apparently we will still out of sight so he didn’t see us. Lighthouse volunteered to get him but with a hefty head start Roger Roger ran around the entire school before Lighthouse could catchup. Now that we had the entire Pax we were a perfect 9.

Various exercises, a Triple Chora. Various versions of Merkins/Squats/WWI’s and II’s. Fun was had by all.

Announcements – 2nd Lunch at Joeys Hot Dogs at Innsbrook at noon today.

Prayer Requests – unspoken but many known

NMS – it’s good to have Roger Roger back.
