  • Just the two of us

Big Rig and YHC took off at 6:00am for a pre-beatdown ruck. We managed to get in about 2 miles before splitting up. While YHC decided to do some stretching, Big Rig decided to do a little extra running. Mubble chatter today was great. Its always nice to catch up and just talk about life.

  • Rucking it is.

After much thought about whether to attend Morning Wood for a ruck or the CSAUP, YHC decided to ruck. Having the use of my legs tomorrow was the deciding factor. The weather was great this morning. Took off at 6:00am and hit the normal paved trail. Finished up just in time for some Woga with Mudslide and Florence.

  • Not what I had in mind

YHC came in hot this morning ready to ruck and was greeted by Chaplain and Big Rig warming up for a run. Although that’s not what I had in mind, YHC decided to audible to a run, which I’m glad I did. Mumble chatter was great and consisted of work, family, and injuries we’ve had over the years. I believe I took the award for the most injuries, Big Rig with the most gruesome, and Chaplain with the award for most likely to avoid getting injured.

  • 2 HIM on a mission

YHC took of at the 6:00am mark for the pre beatdown ruck while Chaplain hit the trails for the 6:30am run. Most times the ruckers and runners would cross paths on their route and show love in passing but YHC took another route this morning and that’s probably the reason we missed each other. We’ll catch each other next time Chaplain for a high five and a “Good work!” Great work this morning Chaplain.

  • Solo Ruck

YHC took off at 6am for the pre-beatdown ruck around the paved trail. Mission accomplished.

  • Man its humid out!

YHC rucked the normal trails through Rockwood Park prior to the Florence beatdown. Enjoyed the peaceful ruck with some tunes playing but could have done without the humidity.

  • Just one rucker

YHC took off on a solo ruck at 6:00am…Mission Complete.

  • What a HILL of a workout

7 HIM came out for a House Party Q. This is how it went…

    COP

    20 x SSH

    10 x Don Quixote

    10 x Ukrainian Soldiers

    10 x Copperhead Squats

    10 x Tempo merkins

    10 x LBC’s

To the top of the hill…

We ran down the hill stopping at each light pole to do 5 WW2’s for a total of 75.

Dora at the bottom of the hill…

    100 x Merkins

    200 x squats

    300 x LBC’s

    400 x toe taps

Back to the top of the hill…

Ran up the hill stopping at each light pole to do 2 burpees for a total of 30.

Finished with just enough time for a round of suicides and flutter kicks.

YHC took us out in prayer.

It was great being out in the gloom this morning and seeing the fellas. Thanks for letting me lead today.

  • Just a bunch of Maniacs

A group 4 ruckers and 2 runners made it out to Rockwood Park for some Morning Wood. We all hit our normal paved trail and as usual, passed by the runners as they made their way through the woods. With Rugged Maniac coming up next week, we talked about what to expect like obstacles and course conditions. We also talked about ways to prepare such as getting an early jump on hydrating and making sure to eat well. Looking forward to seeing all who plan on attending next Saturday and be sure to rock some F3 gear!

  • We Rolling Deep!

YHC almost didn’t get out of bed this morning due to some knee soreness but I’m glad I did because I would have missed out on the party! A total of 9, that’s right, 9 HIM got up early for some morning wood before the beatdown. 7 Ruckers set out at 6am with the birthday boy leading the pack. After completing our normal loop, we kinda split up due to some guys needing to head out. That’s when Footloose and Mudslide took over and took us back into the woods. Days like today are what I really enjoy about F3. The mumblechatter with Footloose and Mudslide was great. Found out we all have a few things in common. If you need help with your resume, check with Hardywood because from what I heard, sounds like Big Rig is going to be the next CEO of his company.

The runners hit the trails at 6:30am. Its funny how the Ruckers and the runners always seem to pass each other at about the same spot…Shout out to Chaplain (hope I spelled that right) and Touchdown for getting in those miles!
