    Mosey to the Field For Wheelbarrows = Wheelbarrow to the 25, stop each man does 10 merkins, same at 50 yard-line and 75.  Switch positions, and wheelbarrow back stopping at same points.

    Mosey to Horseshoe for Triple Check – Balls to the wall, flutter kicks, P3 Runs (each team 2 times through).

    YHC appreciates 10 PAX showing up in the elements for some fun.  Mumblechatter was light, and we got right down to business.  Thanks to Keymaster for partnering during DORA, although he dealt another super, juicy bomb out of his rear (second AO in 4 days where he’s likely left a crater in the ground).  YHC is certain that his drawers and socks for that matter are ruined forever.  YHC is now thinking that perhaps a dietary intervention might be necessary in the not too distant future (as this is becoming a pattern).  Thoughts?

    Needles to say, YHC was happy to partner with Ronnie for partner carries so that breathing was again possible.  Glad to see Ronnie back out after conquering the flu!

    The PAX seemed apprehensive when we hit the field for Wheelbarrows as conditions were lake-like with parts resembling Woodstock…  Honeydo took a mud pie to the shoulder and face due to the slip and slide conditions, however, his recovery was remarkable.  Enjoyed partnering with you brother!

    Great to see Wedding Singer and Garbage plate out at Hoedown, way to work guys!!

    Partner up for Wheelbarrow rides: 

    Each team, wheelbarrow to 25, 50, 75 yard lines and endzone (stop at each point and both men perform 10 merkins).  Partners switch, next guy pushes on way back, stop at each point for 10 merkins per man.  Plank up.

    Suicide 11’s with the BIG CONES (thanks to Kubota for bringing them today!) – Bear Crawl back and forth to cones 1 through three (2 exercises were WWII’s and Merkins).   RUN back and forth between cones 4-10 completing the “11’s” Sequence.  Plank up….

    FLT’s = Partner up and each man complete 3 rounds of 25 eaches (75 total each man, ouch).  YHC will note:  Swirly was an absolute machine churning 75 reps out like it was nada!!

    YHC would like to thank Kubota again for lugging these huge cones in the back of his pick up to the AO this morning!

    What a great start to the day, nothing like Wheelbarrows in the snow, followed by some bear crawls “SNOWCONE Style”!  YHC had a blast Qing this AO for the first time, and it won’t be the last.  Thanks for all the encouragement, and have a great snow day guys!!

    -Page out of EF Hutton’s playbook.  Partner Up- Bernie Sanders up and Down Hill while partner does burpees.  Switch and continue until total 100 burpees.

    -Up to the Field  = Stay with Partner for DORA

    200 Squats

    300 LBC’s

    -Partner UP:  Wheelbarrow to 25 yard line, 50 yard line, and 75 yard line (stop at each and do 10 Merkins).  End of Field, switch and other partner pushes, rinse and repeat on way back.  Audible at 50 yard line on way back, time to Mosey back to the flag…

    NMS:

    YHC was very impressed by the PAX this morning….  To my knowledge, despite the repetitive potential pitfalls (ice, snow, curb, ice, now curb, step), nobody took a tumble.  This was especially remarkable during Bernie Sanders up and down the hill (thanks EF Hutton for starting this a month or two back).

    Kubota got his feet wet and did a great job with cadence during Mary, well done.  Fudd took us out (thanks buddy).  Well done today guys, great start to the week.

    18 Strong Gathered at Hoedown for a 40 year old’s VQ…. Conditions on the field for 4 corners were, well, Slurpee like…Here’s how it went down:

    COP

    Side Straddle Hop (20 count)

    Merkins (10 count)

    Flutter Kicks (15 count)

    LBC’s (15 count)

    THANG:

    -Take a long lap around the neighborhood, back up to the field behind school

    -4 Corners (4 times around = 40, 30, 20, and then 10 count)

    Corner 1 = LBC’s

    Corner 2 = Mtn. Climbers

    Corner 3 = Merkins

    Corner 4 = Squats

    -Mosey to the bottom of Lindsay (15 lunge steps) stop do 3 burpees all the way to the top…Modify, 10 burpees, sprint to top of Lindsay.

    -DORA planned, not enough time

    -Circle up, Ring of Fire and Mary..

    First of all, thanks for all of the support guys!  Special thanks to EF Hutton and Splinter for pre-workout advice.

    Kubota and YHC showed up 15 mins early, YHC was feeling what must be normal butterflies for a VQ.  This feeling was not diminished when we noticed a heavy police presence in the school parking lot.  EF Hutton got out of his vehicle next to us and indicated that his car window had just been tapped (followed by a bright light directed at his face by one of Henrico’s finest ).  After EFH explained that he wasn’t the one who set off the school alarm they decided to back off (although police presence continued to loom).

    YHC’s name is derived from an event that took place when I was 17 and 10 months old.  As FUDD explained over a year ago during my FNG introduction, I was literally put into handcuffs in front of the Tuckahoe 7-Eleven for the use of tobacco (parents had to come pick me up etc.).  Was the police presence today indeed coincidental?

    YHC quickly cast these memories aside, and proceeded to have a blast leading this group of great men.  YHC looks forward to doing it again soon, thanks again for the support fellas!
