If you had asked Spike or YHC we agreed it felt warmer, Wheelie would have said otherwise (mainly because he needed better glove) and based on Helix attire, it was at least below freezing his he had a hat on (still in shorts and short sleeve shirt).

The title of today’s backblast the subject of majority of the mumble chatter was center around stationary bikes. This is also know has Wheelie’s winter training. Learn some new things about stationary bikes all most make you want to drop a couple grand on a Peloton (Not really!).

Over the last 3 years YHC has put a pin on this Friday date at The Creek to celebrate not only his birthday (which this year was actually on Friday) but also and more importantly his first 2.0’s (You know her has Coupon) special day.

On 1/14/16, YHC and his M were truly bless with a lovely baby girl. This year is her 3rd birthday and she has requested to have a Moana theme It seem only fitting to bring that theme to F3.

With temp in the 20’s it was great to see double digit posting at The Creek. Thanks to Handshake for making the trip north. Also welcome to Scrum who just post for the first time early this week.

6 Davillians including 2 2.0’s got their Monday started off right with a little stroll through the gloom

Mudface and YHC had their ruck sacks ready while the rest of the PAX walked along side

YHC was running behind so he didn’t pull up to the parking lot till 5:29 to find the PAX already heading out. I guess they are not on Garmin time.

After catching up, YHC kept the same pace and headed into Honey Meadows. After turning around at the halfway point, YHC noticed the rest of the PAX had taken a different route. Then arriving back at the parking lot, YHC noticed his car was the only one remaining. Where did everyone go?

Turns out No Idea needed to leave early so the main PAX only got in 2.5 miles. This meant that Pinky’s second 2.0 will have to be named another time.

YHC got a full 3 miles in at a 14:55 minute pace

This marks YHC 5 Q of the week and 2nd AO VQ. Also YHC was happy to see “The Murph” was completed last week so it open the door to use Twin Team today. Having traveled to this AO on several occasions, YHC had ever been on Twin Team and you can’t come to this AO without using it. YHC has to say that this is one of the hardest hills in all of F3RVA.

Glad to have all the SOJ regulars out this morning and congrats to Ollivander who is attending his 4th Spit Q of the week!
