Great turn out this morning for WTH Cul-De-Sac run. We had a solid group come out to enjoy the summer like warmth. Here is the thang :10 cul de sacs: 15 merkins 15 LBCs in each. Made it back a little early so ran the bus loop, another round of merkins & LBCs, 11 rounds completed! 3.8 miles covered 165 merkins and 165 LBCs, good work from the pax. Check slack for happenings around the area. Prayers for those who are struggling in life both emotionally and physically. Happy Birthday to Saltlick tomorrow! Thanks for letting me lead

  • WTH it’s warm again!

Nice to have a warm morning again for a little exercise and fellowship. A little smaller crowd than usual for our Wednesday workout, but we made the best of it. Here’s what the melting ice saw take place. Moseyed over to the gazebo at West Broad Village for a little warm-up. Side straddle hops Don Qs , Ukrainian soldiers, Merkens, and LBC‘s helped to get our muscles into the right elasticity. We then headed out from there over towards golf galaxy and the little townhouse community hidden at the end of the parking lots. We found two extremely expensive and small houses had been recently built there. Whitesnake quizzed us on what we anticipated the pricing to be, and all of us were surprised at the million dollar price tag. We did three loops around the circle and at the end of each loop we did 20 exercises, first Merkens second World War II’s third jump squats. We did that two times and then moseyed over to REI. We took advantage of their sturdy benches and did two rounds of 20 dips and 20 derkens. We headed from there over to ACAC, we did 20 World War II’s and then our favorite F3 salute of 20 monkey humpers in a line saying good morning to the treadmill runners on the second floor watching us. We moved to the end of the street by Dave & Buster’s did a little more ab work this time with 20 LBC‘s in 20-2 count penguins. We headed back to the flag from there the long way with a little bit of time left and needing a little more distance. We circled the bus loop twice to hit our 3 miles, ended at the flag with a minute left so we knocked out another 20 merkins. Several of our regular were out today, numbers and names, we closed in prayer of Thanksgiving for a beautiful morning and prayers for those who are sick or traveling. Until our next meeting, Peace

  • The Frozen Grid-Angle, Still the OG

It was a beautiful morning to be outside with our brother in the cold and the snow. The Co-Chaired Q to celebrate our birthdays kicked off with optional coffee moonshine or Jamison whiskey shots to help warm us up inside before getting underway. The snow and ice covered parking lot was a slippery place to start the warm-up circle. Side straddle hops, Don Ques, Ukrainian soldiers, arm circles forward and reverse, Merkins and LBC‘s helped raise the body temperatures before moving over to Striker Park. A quick survey of the field covered in snow and ice made us to choose the large parking lot with an occasional black ice patch. A round of four corners to get started: First corner 10 Merkins ,second corner 20 World War II’s, third corner 30 squats, and fourth corner added 40 side straddle hops. TThen we unwound going back to each corner removing the prior exercise back to the start. In solidarity with our frozen triangle brothers, which, by the way, was canceled, we mossied around the Pickleball courts down the drive of the school to the bus loop. Half took a long way the other half went across the field. At the bus loop we did a triple check with poll smokers and LBC‘s with the pacer running the bus loop and back. Once all complete We mossied over to the new Pickleball stadium for another triple check. this time we did dips derkins and mosey around the large Pickleball courts. We headed back to the flag for a Mary cool down with some stretches ,some Merkins numbers and names two minutes early; much to Gomer‘s dismay. By the time the prayer ended time was actually up. We celebrated our birthdays with a few more shots of coffee, moonshine Jamison whiskey, and bloody Mary’s with all the fixings, olives, pickles, celery, and bacon nonetheless. After enjoying the drinks, we had to Starbucks for coffee.

Counting in cadence was a little off today. Yours truly had a hard time keeping track of the numbers with all of the foreign language counting beside me. A good time has had by all birthdays are always a treat to lead and be part of this

  • Wonderful Gloom in January! Cul de sacs!

today fell on Pinto to take the reigns, after a week away eating and drinking with 6 -20 something aged kids I was ill prepared to take the lead. Cul-De-Sacs we went running to. We did 10 of them with 10 merkins, 15 LBCs then stopped 2 more times for 12 rounds. 3.6 miles covered, extra time allowed for Mary with Fredy mercuries, American hammers and WW2s to close us out.
good mumble chatter about little kids with inquiring minds , sibling dynamics and pecking order. Always great to be out with our Brothers.

the bridge coming up on 27th and frozen triangle on Feb 7th

  • 8 Days until Christmas WTH style

AS usual we found the morning to be70 degrees and sunny, hopefully somewhere, but 12 men showed to fight off the holiday treats that are flowing abundantly these days! We moseyed toward West Broad Village and stopped at the familiar PAD for warm ups. After the legal ease warnings, 15 SSH, 15 Don Qs, 20 LBCs, and 10 slow merkins. We then launched to start the Christmas window shopping in the Trader Joes parking lot with a cumulative 4 corners done twice to match our 8 days till Christmas. We did 10 merkins, 20 WW2s, 30 squats, and 40 SSHs. After the 2 rounds we moseyed over towards the Gazebo along the lake. We took in the beautiful Christmas lights and feeling especially festive stopped in from of ACAC to give the F3 hello to those paying for their workouts, from the 2nd floor the treadmill runners enjoyed seeing 12 men waive hello with 25 Monkey Humpers and then 10 Merkins. Heading to the Gazebo we stopped and said a quick hello and then continued the long way around the lake to the flag. Pulling up with little time left and 3 miles covered. 6 of us headed to Dunkin after for some F2 time. Prayers for those sick and battling cancer, those who are hurting emotionally and for the blessings to be able to be out of bed and working out with these fine men. Thanks for allowing me the lead today. Merry Christmas!

  • Go to routes for some newbies

a little smaller showing today than we have had in a while but double what we were a year ago. Always good to be out on the streets as we worked through the neighborhood past some of our fartsacking brother’s houses. Hmmm should we moon their houses? In the dark probably not worth it. We searched for the Halloween decorations and found one anxious to show off their displays. A fairly regular workout for us, 10 cul de sacs: 10 merkins 15 LBCs in each. Made it back a little early so ran the bus loop, another round of merkins & LBCs, run touch the bus back to flag, 12 round and then 5 burpees just for fun! 3.86 miles covered 120 merkins and 180 LBCs, good work from the pax. Thanks for letting me lead

  • Saltlick just wants the Tip…..

A group of five gathered in the humid gloom to enjoy starting the morning with accountability. We kicked off with the crowd favorite beach body shaper —cul-de-sacs. At each stop along the way down, we did 15 Merkins and 15 LBCs. 10 Cul-De-Sacs. You can do the math! Smaller group than we have seen lately with several of our regulars missing today. Two young bucks have become regulars now and the Q was the War Daddy, odd experience. With a recent injury to my right wrist my merkins had to be modified to finger tip merkins on my right side, Salt lick decided that should be the title. We covered 3.6 miles. Fantastic effort all around! Nice mumble chatter today learning more about Bango and Plus One, AI and coding, quickbooks and churches…. Make the week great. Prayers for Jordan and his service to our country and the sense of isolation he is battling. Reach out to your brothers! Blessed to be able to lead today.

  • Happy Friday! Fun run

6 gathered for a nice cool start to the day and to earn their after workout donuts. No Q signed so I took the lead. Decided to run the “Figure 8” route which we are not sure why the name, really more of a P or a q. Great morning again to be out and odd the had more at WTH than here this morning…

  • WTH Convergence….at least it felt that way

After a hot potato of whose turn it was to Q, YHL took the lead and we headed west. Stop off at Wells Fargo lot for warm up. 15 side straddle hop, 15 Ukrainian soldiers, 10 Dan ques, 10 Merkins, 20 LBC‘s, recover and back headed west towards the retirement community. Stop off at vacant office parking lot for a triple check: pacer to the third light pole with Merkins and WW2s as the exercises. Once completed, get moving west again. We make it to the retirement home and We do another triple check with pacer running around the carport, the other two exercises of reverse crunches and squats. Once completed time to head east back to the flag. Stop off at our office parking lot: 10 quick Burpee’s(lighthouse and whitesnake love them), head back to the flag. Pulled up a little bit after time but got 3.5 miles of run in and a good bit of exercise. The pack seem seemed happy that they got their moneys worth this morning. Nice to have a large group with us on our Wednesday workout today. Several prayer concerns lifted up, homegrown half and 10 K coming up August 16.. reach out to somebody who may need to hear a friendly voice that you haven’t seen in a while. Thanks for letting me lead
