Better late than never, maybe??
Apparently the Q was tired and slept for a long time while the Alarm was sounding. After a 100 MPH drive to the AO I arrived only five minutes late. The challenge with a running boot camp is which way did they go. We vary every week but fortunately I picked the right direction and found some clues on my way to catch the pax. Mosey to westbroad village lake gazebo circle up 10 merkins, 10 LBCs, a few other things I missed probably. Q hand off to Pinto from Lighthouse…Mosey to Golf Galaxy for 5 burpees(punishment for me being Tardy), 20 SSH’s, 20 LBCs. Mosey to Diamonds direct 5 burpees, 20 merkins, 20 WW2s. After that head over to ACAC at west broad village. 5 burpees, 20 merkins, 20 Fredy mercuries,. Head to Ironworks for 20 monkey humpers in from of Manscapes store because he didn’t show up, hopefully he has surveillance cameras. Mosey toward Dave and Busters more of the same 5, 20 and 20. Head to pump and repeat once there. Mosey back to flag but take bus loop two times to hit our 3 miles. Circle up: name and numbers name the 2 FNGs. Thanks for letting me be part and always a great day to sweat and be together as a brotherhood Close in prayer

Wonderful Wednesday! Welcome Maggie Jane!
Several showed today for the perfect start to a day, working out with our F3 brothers as the birds chirped and the sun rose during our 45 mins together. With a traditional WTH work out, we hit the Cul-De-Sacs looking for one of our missing regulars, Whitesnake. Sadly we still don’t know which house is his so we couldn’t harass him out of the house to join us. We moved faster than typical must mean we are getting stronger and faster, probably not, Each Cul-De-Sac gave us the opportunity to knock out 10 merkins and 15 WW2’s, we added an extra stop and did a few extra loops around the bus ring taking us to 115 merkins, 165 WW2’s and 4 miles of ground covered. A good start for Wednesday. Pigskin welcomed is newest granddaughter yesterday to the fold! Piglets 2nd born, Maggie Jane 7lbs and a head full of hair! Welcome to the world, everyone is doing well. Prayers and thanksgiving for the family and the road ahead for the newest member. As we inch closer to Easter, let us remember the blessings of life and forgiveness of our sins that Christ gifted to us as he hung on the cross in our place. we are all loved and forgiven despite our human flaws and imperfections. rejoice in the good news and strive to be a better man each day. Thanks for allowing me to lead and be part of this family!

Eyes Bigger Than MY Stomach
5 gathered to continue the quest of fellowship and fitness on a warm spring like morning under the giant Orange Moon! Always the best way to start my day with my brother in arms. The Thang:
Head out for the lake at Wellsley from the flag. Pigskin took the early start out of the gate and the Pax caught up as we hit Pump. Circled up at shopping center parking lot for COP with SSH, Don Q’s, Ukrainian solders, Merkins and LBCs to get bodies loosened up, mosey towards the lake, Q decided 11’s were the way to start the workout, so we pulled right into two Cul-De-Sacs for deconstructed burpees: I.E. Merkins 10 & 1 Jump Squat on other end, with reverse accent and decent of numbers. after 6 or 7 rounds the Q realized the distance was too great and we merged the last 3 into single sets as we were already at 30 mins in and over 3 miles. I promised the lake so off we went. By the time we got there it was 36 min and 3.5 miles…ooops quick 20 WW2’s and then head back to the flag. Late and 4.5 miles later, we figured out 52 degrees will work up a sweat and circled up for numbers and closed in prayer. Refunds available for late return to flag, send requests to the admin office of WTH…… Always a joy to lead and start the day with F3! Keep those in your thoughts and prayers that are facing challenges in life from many different angles. Reach out to someone who has been apart for a bit.

Sleet covered Gridiron, can’t stop Pigskin
Here is what went down on this beautiful Feb morning. Mosey to the covered Pickleball courts for warm-ups: side straddle hops, Don Qs, helicopters, LBC’s, Merkins. We Attempted a four corners, cumulative with five Merkins, 10 jump squats, 15 LBC‘s, 20 reverse crunches. The area was just too small to really make work so we mosied over to the bus loop: 26 pole smokers and 26 Merkins. Next: Triple check: American hammers, squats, and runner as the pacer. Mosey towards Striker Park with a stop at the pull up bars, three sets of 10 pull-ups and 15 dips. Mosey over to striker Park soccer field. We divided into two teams since it’s a Super Bowl weekend. four vs four with tater as the full-time quarterback, so he didn’t injure himself. The field had a nice layer of sleet covering it which proved to be slippery and made for an entertaining game. Piglet was the star of the day scoring three touchdowns. Highlight of the day was Pigskin’s kickoff return for a touchdown while juking out three opponents avoiding the tags. The game ended with a Handshake 200 yard touchdown run on a slight diagonal path outrunning the opponents and scoring a touchdown(hmmmm) about 100 yards out of bounds. We laughed and enjoyed ourselves in the sleet and cold, escaping without any additional injuries. We headed back to the flag and finished with 26 merkins and 26 reverse crunches to complete the “52” needed because Atilla complained when we left the bus loop that I didnt hit my 52 of each. Numbers & Names, I took us out in Prayer. J-ville joined us a coffee afterwards. Thanks for allowing me to lead and coming out for my 52nd birthday Q. F3 has truly been one of the best things in my life and I am grateful for this body of men. See you in the gloom!

BRRRR head to the decks
Three showed on this frigid morning to try and warm up moving around the far westend. On cold days like this 15 degree start we all decided exercising in the parking decks at West Broad Village was the right move. We took off and navigated the snow covered sections of sidewalks and ice to make it to the parking deck. First round: 10 merkins 10 WW2s, 5 up and 5 back down, the top levels were a sheet of ice so we stopped at the edge of cover. 2nd round: 10 sets: 10 jump squats, 10 SSHs. 3rd round: 10 sets 10 WW1s and 30 second planks. last set we ended with 1 minute plank. mosey back to flag. Lighthouses watch showed 3.5 miles covered, my watch show 4.5 miles. My watch clearly was adding extra points because of the extreme cold. We all agreed lighthouse was the more accurate read. I closed in prayer after numbers and names. Special prayers of healing and success for Fireman Ed as he starts his treatments tomorrow. Stay warm and positive as we move into 2025. Peace

Miley Cyrus is feeling old
7 gathered on this warm Friday morning to run or walk off some calories. The pax moved at different paces based off condition or physical limitations. A few covered 4.4 miles and others made it 5.5 with Doozy at the lead picking up different members sprinting all over the route. As the appointed Q I picked the figure 9 route up Pump, left on pump at split right on theee Chopt and right on John Rolfe back to the flag. Afterwards we had coffee at Dunkin’s and discussed the harsh reality of getting old and the physical beat down hard younger lives can take a toll on the body long term. Whitesnake noticed Miley singing in background a doing about her woes of old age….in he late twenty. Ha ha just wait till she hits 50. Always good to have brothers together. There are many who are dealing with sickness and medical issues out there. Prayers for all struggling. Especially Fireman ed, Roger Rogers wife, Fudd’s sister, Gypsy’s step son and many other’s. Head up and faithful will hopefully make the burdens of life more tolerable.

WTH under a full Moon drew out a BlueMoon
Five gathered for a Wednesday run and bootcamp interwind all together in the cool October air. Our hero Pigskin gave blood this week and decided he would take it easy and stay watch over the flag while the remaining four took off in the dark. Here is the thang:
Mosey towards West Broad Village, stop after half mile for warm up. Circle up, disclaimers, and 10 SSH, 10 Don Q’s, 20 LBCs, 10 Merkins. Mosey to the parking deck. two rounds of up and back. start with 5 burpees, at eack platform, 10 merkins to the top. At the top, 5 burpees and then head back down doing 15 WW2’s at each platform. Next round: 5 burpees to start, 10 Jump squats at each palform, repeat. 5 more burpees then 2 count Freddie Mercuries on the way back down. For the record thats 7 rounds of each exercise plus the 5 Burpees. Mosey back towards flag. Todays cold made people unfriendly, two hellos and no reply, stop for 10 burpees (parking deck burpees were the result of a silent indivdual who ignored a hello from pax). keep movin back to flag, then a game of find the Pigskin. Once we reached him we headed back to the flag, had two minutes to recap the earlier routine, 10 merkins, 15 WW2’S, 10 jump squats, AND 10 FREDDIE MERCURIES, closed in prayer, prayers for Fireman Ed and also Fudd’s sister and all those in need of prayer concern! The morning was enhanced by Bluemoon making a return to WTH!! 3.5 miles covered this morning. Be Well

Wet and wild WTH
7 brave brothers showed up in the gloom to do the work this morning, One downrange F3 brother from Charlotte area, Two Timer, We always enjoy seeing new brothers. Hers what went down. We headed out from flag towards pump to a spot that we have only hit once before, Three Notch town homes for some 11’s. YHC didnt remember how long the road was and after 30 mins we had only completed 5 rounds of Merkins and Jump squats while covering 2.6 miles already. Recognizing time was a problem and distance two great we switched to a triple check with American hammers, Merkins and a pacer. Once completed we headed back to flag grabbed the bus loops and covered sidewalk for 20 pole smokers and 20 mountain climbers, two rounds of this and time was up. We found the bus loop just in time as it really started pouring while we finished up. We covered 3.65 miles finished with COT and names. Was great to have 2XT out there with us.
