A birthday Q to remember. Me vs me I always try to push myself in the things I don’t like doing. I looked back to the recent ipc week 1. On the football field we ran 90 yards between each work out. 35 reps at each end of the field. We did start with 6 burpees in honor of Broadways request. Workout in the end zones consisted of: SSH, merkins, oblique lifts with cindies, plank Jack’s, lbc’s, oblique lbc’s, box cutters, WW2s, calf raises with 2 cindies, double count lunges, squats, and maybe one or two I’m forgetting. We racked up just over a mile. But with 9 minutes left on the clock I was saving the best for last looking to ipc for inspiration we finished with 90 thrusters. With some no shows on the FNGs I need i could go hard and these HIMS did not let me down. And now looking forward to Doolittles VQ next week.

ipc week 3, previous BB didn’t post. We did all the reps in record times

  • Shirts vs skins

Today felt like a gloom kind of morning. Muggy and just right for Bermuda. Poolboy brought the coupons for the festivities.

Mosey to get us going down to the lower lot and corraled through the parking spots then broad jumps to finish the lower lot. Back to the main lot to get all the stretches in. Dead man hangs, arm circles, SSH, and that other thing……. with plenty of coupons we broke it up into triplesets. Timer farmer carried two cindies the length of the parking lot and sprint back, plank pull throughs with the kettlebell, thrusters with the slam ball. Then hydrate. The second tripleset was again farmer carries and sprint back for timer, jump rope, and weighted elevated calf raises. Then hydrate. We then hit the weighted ab exercise to finish with Big Rigs request oblique dips. Pack up, numbers, names, COT.

  • 1st,2nd, and 3rd F

Just the two of us this morning. 2 hims just like any other day but it was different. Yes we did the WARMARAMA and the usually mosey around the school mixed with a bunch usual routines. Somewhere around the pull up bars Broadway saw i needed some help with some weight i was pulling around. Not a ruck not a kettlebell. For the last 15 minutes of the boot camp we spent 30 minutes sharing stories and other strengths. Today is an opportunity for new beginnings. Everyday is a blessing, I needed much more than a bootcamp today and Broadway was there. So many times in a little over a year F3 has been there for me, I’m thankful for all of you. Broadway took us out In a much needed prayer.

  • Sunny and 70 actually

Can’t start without a good mosey around the parking lot. Being warmed up from the pull up session we went right for the cindies. Rifle carry from the shed to the cow pasture fence.

11s over the fence with thrusters and burpees. This proved to be the right call, although it took longer than expected. Don’t forget the abs with some double clutch WW2s and WW3s. We still had to get cindies back to the shed. The 3 of us alternated with bear crawl, farmers carry, and lunge walk. This left us enough time for a ab ring of fire on the yoga mat.

  • aww hell naw

Still stiff from the convergence workout we got in some extra stretches. We mosied to the lower parking lot. Neck rolls, imperial walkers, helicopters, scorpion rolls, merkins, cherry pickers. The cool air made for good running weather. Long mosey to the wall for some hoedowns. At this point the janitor was curious and poked his head out to ask what we were doing. After the usual EH speal, he quickly said aww he’ll nah closed the door and proceeded with his duties. A good laugh was had by all. After this out leaf to a Broadway beat down. Hoe downs 15, 25, Bernie 100m, pull ups 10, 50m wind sprints @ 70%, 80%, 100%, Bernie 50m x3, rotate: 10ea Merkins, LBCs, wide arm, WWII @ 14 stations, lunge 25m, Bernie 25m.
Ring of fire= 20ea Squats, merkins, American hammers. Great morning gents

    POOLBOY’s 1 year Qversary

long mosey to the bball court for the the WARMARAMA. Helicopters, cherry pickers and 44SSH. Hoedowns on the wall 15 count x2 to equal 30. Mosey to the busloop. I measured and verified it was exactly 127ft long kinda for a curb crawl. Long mosey to the cow pasture for some Turkish getups on the fence. My two least favorite workouts are running and burpees so that’s what we did. 10 burpees at 3 spots (30)while running the perimeter of the cow pasture to the Pavillion. From here we made it to the parking lot for abc’s then pole dancers and stiletto double clutch squats. I noticed Broadway was missing out on some merkins so I had to call it. We Bernied the hill and crawl bear down 5ish times. We finished off with a ring of fire on the yoga mat for abs. This was a fast fun Q to mark the 1 year. It was one day shy of a year so 364, 127 is how many Posts I’ve had, 44 lbs I’ve lost, 30 Q’s, and 5ish FNG’s. Thanks to everyone continuing to push me.

  • no rain in sight

Drove to Bermuda in a downpour, only to find clear skies. With word of a FNG hopes were high. All 5 of us mosied to the lower lot to WARMARAMA. The usual SSH, Don Qs, imperial walkers, and my famous taint ticklers. From there lower pole alley provided a spot to find our place on the curb. Stiletto squat lunge(lt. Dan) really burned the legs to kick off leg day. After that spin around for pole dancers. Feel the burn as we mosied to the gazebofor some dips and bathroom break. From here I hot potatoed to Broadway. Merkins, he loves some merkins almost as much as hoedowns. We mosied to our usual wall for mountain climbers, hoedowns, and merkins. The mosey BTTF I was really feeling in the legs, I think everyone was. Ring of fire to finish it off. Ww2s, heels to heaven, american hammers, lbcs, and something else that I can’t remember at this point. Circled up for COT and finished out with naming the FNG Shooter McGavin. Avid golfer and chesterfield police officer were flag to have you and look forward to watching your progress.

  • 3 suspects carrying bricks running in circles

We were on the lookout for the fuzz but I think we scared him off. Nothing suspicious about 3 guys running around the park with bricks in hand. Our usual routine was thrown off. With a brick in hand we completed the following. Ssh, ww3s, Ukrainian soliders, imperial walkers. Slow mosey to the cow pasture. From there 11s with skull crushers and merkins with a mosey to the shed between. After someone had the idea of spelling the ABCs with your feet holding a brick. All the way through breaks as needed. After we did what I the back of the cop car. We sat for a 30 count and regretted our decisions. Finished out with a solid broga session.
