We were on the lookout for the fuzz but I think we scared him off. Nothing suspicious about 3 guys running around the park with bricks in hand. Our usual routine was thrown off. With a brick in hand we completed the following. Ssh, ww3s, Ukrainian soliders, imperial walkers. Slow mosey to the cow pasture. From there 11s with skull crushers and merkins with a mosey to the shed between. After someone had the idea of spelling the ABCs with your feet holding a brick. All the way through breaks as needed. After we did what I the back of the cop car. We sat for a 30 count and regretted our decisions. Finished out with a solid broga session.

Bermuda Abs
HOT POTATO. I started with a mosey to the lower parking lot to get the blood flowing. I made sure everyone knew i didn’t know what I was doing. The WARMARAMA consisted of SSH, merkins, imperial walkers, lbc’s and maybe something else. Big Rig was looking for legs so I have him some pole dancers followed up with some double clutch stiletto squats. As we hobbled back to the flag I finally figured out what we were doing next. Toys included 30lb kettle bell for plank pull throughs, jump rope, and ww3 with the 20lbslam ball. This turned into a triple set with a emom timer. I tossed the potato to BigRig where with did a step down of 20 reps and various weight for curls. Curls for days talk about a gun show. Speaking of potatoes, I was mashed after a ab ring of fire. We started with a usual freddy mercury and Broadway called flutter kicks. No big deal right false 20 count then stop at 6 inches, up to 18″, then get together and spread. None the less Broadway showed us we weren’t ready. All around great workout with I’m sure a few things missing in this story.

Running under the stars
Mumble chatter of previous rucks we’ve talked about trying to get more distance in. We started out rucking into the neighborhood under a shooting star. After a quick loop I let the guys know we’re going the distance. We started to mosey, I called out to the group to pick a house and that’s where we would slow to our usual pace. This is how we continued throughout the ruck to get us past the 5K mark. Intermittently finding markers to run to. This was definitely a calf burner on the hills but a great warmup for the Beaver Q. Choo Choo probably thought they’re was an emergency as we ran to meet up with him to interrupt his parking lot broga/ run session. We did finish up a few minutes early to meet the new FNG’s. Numbers are growing in the lumberyard with a promising 2025. Great work fellas.

101 for 2024
After the usual pull up session no WARMARAMA was needed, got right into. While looking for the headlights off in the distance of the fart packers this is where it started.
triple set of WW3’s, offset merkins on the slam ball, jump rope. The timer was the runner and we ran between each workout.
Next up we did calf raises with cindies in hand while time ran a lap. 3 laps and each lap change for position. Straight leg, pigeon toed, duck footed.
If the calfs weren’t sore heres some SSH’s while timer farmer carries cindies across parking lot and runs back.
next up 3 rounds of (6)deficit merkins on the parking curbs, (12) ranger merkins, (25) block chest press.
with a few minutes to kill command or abs. Heels to heaven and alternating stiff leg LBC’s.
What a way to finish off 2024. 5/21/2024 I started F3 at goyne park, today was 101 posts. My goal was to get 100 posts for 2024 and I just got it. I can’t thank Big Rig enough for getting me out there, and everyone else along the way. I’m looking forward to 2025.

The games are made up and the points don’t matter
100-4-100 The celebration of reaching 100 posts before the end of 2024. I started with F3 in May, Choo Choo shortly after and Beaver shortly after that. We all reached 100 posts about the same time. Props to Choo Choo and Beaver for starting up the lumberyard and reaching these numbers so fast. I wanted to do something special and stupid. Everything was 100 count or 100 yards. We even had an FNG. Special thanks to the guys who traveled an hour to be here. Several completed the list and added to it. Great job by all. What a way to finish 2024 and looking forward to an even better 2025. I want to shout of Big Rig for dragging me out on that Tuesday back in May to get me where I am today. I want to thank everyone for continuing to push me since then.

Pre CSAUP ruck
Quick 2.5 mile ruck to warm up for the lumberyard CSAUP. The rain held off for a beautiful December morning ruck. Great mummble chatter with Choo Choo. We had a beautiful view of the morning light poking through the clouds and a Beaver running the football field.

Animal control had to be called
6 Savage beasts causing a public hazard. Lucky no one got taken in, by time animal control rolled in boot camp was over. Unfortunately my HC FNG wasn’t a HC, 10 minutes before I went to pick him up fartsackitis set in as well as other excuses. I will continue to work with him.
WARMARAMA: mosey to the the lower parking lot for arm circles, bigger arm circles, and reverso. SSH, Don Qs, Alabama Prom dates, and WW2s. Mosey to the football field.
The THANG: this was the start of the best down. A ladder on the football field 25yd, 50yd, 75yd, and goal post. Started with 10 merkins, then added 10 WW2s, add 10 jump squats, finish with 10 burpees. We had so much fun we did it again to get back across the field. A 10 count some how had a 12 and 30 in there. Move over to the little hill for Bernie up the hill and crawl bear down. Mosey the cow pasture fence. Find a pole and get to work. Turkish getup into a inclined diamond merkin on the pole. 10of those before we find Cindy. A little picnic at the Pavillion tripleset farmer carry to the tree and sprint back for time, chair dips, and oblique lbc and throw in heel taps. Rifle carry Cindy behind the shed. Everyone enjoyed the 12oz curls for the water pit stop. Of to the jungle gym to finish with Dora. 100 jerkins, 200 pickle pounders, 300 ish toe taps on the curb. Next was to make it BTTF without dying.
It was a tough one and the PAX absolute brought the heat. These guys push me to push myself. Now Choo Choo and Beaver need to lock in on the VQ. I’m still learning but you saw how it can be done today. Thanks for coming out.

goyne for a ruck
A morning hike through the neighborhoods to see if we could EH anyone. The 6 burly men probably scared everyone off because no one was around. There is good potential for members from several of the surrounding neighborhoods. Rucks are good advertisement to draw them in. A good 3 mile trek to gave me time to think about the pain I could deliver for the iron bridge. Thanks for the conversations and company, it was a great way to warm up.

False advertising
4 HIMS enjoyed the absolutely beautiful temps this morning. It was advertised as 36 minutes of broga but that didn’t pan out.
WARMARAMA: mosey to the bball court for the usual
-Don Q’s
-SSH
-WW2’s done wrong
The THANG: From there we walked over to the island for a lovely curb crawl. That led us to the cow pasture fence, it’s been long talked about but unused. Stay with 1 merkin, 1 step up, 1 Turkish getup and add reps until 10.
A Pool Boy Q would be anything without a little swimming. Arm circles and high knees as we made our way through the morning dew and tall grass. 4 cindies got a lift to the Pavillion for a quadruple set. Farmer carry two cindies to the tree and sprint back for the timer. Oblique dips with a Cindy, lbc’s and modify with toe taps and oblique lbc, chair dips. 2 rounds of this until time to take Cindy home. Mosey BTTF for a ring of fire with merkins. Ranger, spiderman,no cheat shoulder taps, and diamond.
Finished with names, numbers, announcement, and a prayer. Check slack for updates.

SAVE THE BABY
Last scheduled Holy water but more to come. Good positive turnout and looking to grow from here.
WARMARAMA: Stretches oyo and laps to warm up and cool off in the pool. After we jumped in the relay race. Two teams of two, One person bear crawling underwater with 20lb dumbbells while the other swims a lap and jumps out for 5 merkins. Back in to tag the team mate until they reached the side of the pool they started on. Next was the buddy brick teams of two slide a dumbell under water while both are holding onto it. One had to hold onto the dumbell at all times. Each would alternate coming up for air. Working on treading water we passed a small 5lb watermelon ball while keeping it above water. It you drop it you had to retrieve it.
THE THANG:The baby 10lb dumbell made it’s way too the deepend and needed to be saved. After various different routines of saving the baby we moved onto drownproofing. While some may find it intimidating it’s a great exercise to become more comfortable with under water activities. Alot of boundaries were pushed and great improvements made today. Buddy breathing using a snorkel is a great team building breathing exercise that pushes everyone.
I’m looking forward to hosting more feel free to reach out. Great work by all today.
