  • Eye of the storm

Seven arrived at the FORGE this morning expecting a deluge, given the weather report and preblast, however…..70 and sunny was all we got (relatively speaking). We set off for an adjusted plan given we didn’t require any shelter. The Q stumbled through the following.

    THANG

Mosey for one half loop of top lot waiting for potential stragglers —none appeared.

    Wararama
SSH, DQs, Imperial Squat Walkers, 6 count burpees, Alabama prom dates, American Hammers

COP 1: Mosey to next lots for 4 corners, (forgot the prostitute part of the instructions) so we adjusted after the first corner.
    – 5 burpees
    – 10 Lieutenant Dans
    – 15 WW IIs
    – 15 Carolina Dry Docks

COP 2: Mosey to bottom of ramp, near 3rd parking lot
bear crawl to first street light, walking lunge to the next, walk to top, 20 jerkins, 25 incline merkins on railings

COP 3: Triple check at top of lot
partner 1 – Dips, partner 2 – flutters, partner 3 stairs and loop

COP 4: Mosey up stairs back to lot 2
holding the wall – 60s, then Balls to the wall for 20 Aussie mtn climbers, repeato

COP5: Mosey to lot in front of school, for a mess (poor instructions). Something like curb crawl half top oval of island, indigenous style, though the Q did not follow his own guidance and then mosey the straight to opposite end of the island for more curb crawl, 2nd round was better,

    BTTF for a final 45 SSH, time…

Numbers, names and announcements, Machismo took us out. Thanks for the company this morning gents, enjoyed it!

  • Ruckhenge 021225

What an ice morning! 4 insomniacs met up for a rucking good time and a few miles around the streets and trails of Larus. May have seen a pine shedding some extra weight, thankfully before we arrived. Appreciated having the company this morning and continuing the them of the TFT from the weekend.

numbers, names and announcements: Thoughts for the DTHs as they prepare for mission and travels to family this weekend.

Followed by Coffeerama and a Q.source discussion on Failure and Teamwork. SYITG

  • Ruckhenge 012225 – Wednesday at Bernies

Eight (8) HIMs braved the frosty weather for a 3.3 mile ruck around the streets, not trails (esp. after buttermilk on Sunday), surrounding SP shopping center. Added in a few hilly Bernies for some variation. Coffeeteria and q.source discussion on an overview of Leave Right was really appreciated, till the next one!

Announcements: Frozen Triangle coming up. SOJ takeover continues.

8 Ice warriors braved the frigid temps and posted for a a few miles of streets and trails. We threw in a few sets of farmers carry and…….yes burpees, though not enough to get the MABA lads to their 100 (look for multiple short loops on the map). Great to have a brother from downrange join us this am and to have a continued Q.source discussion about commitment and consistency.

Announcements: Look for details about upcoming the Frozen Triangle, Century ride/run and another GTE excursion in 25′ on Slack.

    SYITG!

What goes down must come up. It was great to see 9 men out this morning for a rainy 3.5 miles of hilly terrain. Great work everyone. This mornings Q.source was focused (maybe not so focused) on Articulation and Persuasion.

    Announcements (check slack), Numberama, Names

Right month this time. 2 ruckers and a Q-source regular gathered for a few miles of weighty discussion followed by coffeeteria this morning. Our focus was on living right which we wove into our thoughts and reflections on positive habit transfer and accountability. I really appreciate the opportunity to have these conversations and to learn and grow from each other’s experiences. Look forward to seeing more of the regular PAX for future installments

    VQ week continues!

Short on pax not hills. 3 tuned in this morning to explore what new routes maybe waiting for us in the vicinity of Ruckhenge. With perfect weather and Halloween just around the corner, we wondered what we may find as we lurked from street to street. Didn’t quite get through the route that was planned but a number of new ideas were seeded. Q2.2-2.3 Influence and Missionality were our topics from the Q source today. Thanks for the thoughts and engagement guys. Looking forward to seeing more of our regulars next time! Enjoy a safe halloween everyone!

Announcements: Daddy daughter dance Sat 2nd Nov. See Slack.

  • Stone or Blade?

7 took the DRP and showed up at Ruckhenge for one of the freshest mornings in some time (5 early and 2 a bit later on). It was the trails of Larus this morning, traversed in a non-typical fashion with twists and turns to keep things interesting. Appreciate all the ongoing conversation and discussions of the Q.source. Today’s chapters were the Whetstone and Mammon. Are you sharpening or being sharpened in a vertical relationship, or is it less traditional? Missed a few lads this morning and hope to have their company again soon. Come and join us at the next one!

Announcements – Sober October continues, not too late to join, see slack.

  • What ticks?

Ticks can’t swim. 12 opted for the red pill this misty morning not quite knowing what was in store—rain or more rain. We traversed 3.2 miles of streets and trails (maybe some grassland) at a fair clip this morning. Good conversations were had about the business of running Kingdoms, including the importance of Getting Right, which all starts with the King and Queen (Q1.2-1.3). YHC really appreciated the opportunity to share in thought and spirit with everyone today. SYITG

  • No Pain or Chaos

4 men, former representatives of Death and Liberty platoons, met for a some quick miles through Larus Park and the streets around Ruckhenge.

Here is how it went. Slow start across the parking where we did some good mornings, and prying goblet squats before hitting the trails. Some good banter and reminiscing took place with our returning brother NTB. Wrapped it up with a few down to the ground and up agains wearing packs as a little reminder of our Bootcamp at the War Memorial during GTE47!
