  • Cards & Coupons

7 brave men entered the foggy gloom for a workout of cards & coupons.

    Warmarama

Moseyed to the creek, caulked the wagon, and forded the stream. Picked up fresh coupons and used a deck of cards to determine how many reps our upper body beat down would be. Props to @Marv for a quick glove run home and back. Stashed coupons for future use.

Attempted to polar bear up the hill back to the flag but feared mutiny halfway through and audibled.

Word for the day: all authority has been given to Christ, may we steward well the authority delegated to us.

  • Soccer Shots & FNGs

Two young FNGs joined a nine-man PAX of bootcampers and walkers in the warming gloom. Warmarama. Four-corners on the stone dust track. Partner wind sprints on the tennis courts. Just for fun, a penalty kick soccer shoot out with a very lopsided outcome. Ring of fire.

FNG 1: Peter Grigg, age 12, dubbed “Nacho Libre”

FNG 2: Jimmy Grigg, age 9, christened “Wolfgang”

  • 12-Count

Follow the light of a lantern across a babbling brook to the hoedown in the woods. We explored new territory to do wheelbarrow races, merry-go-round pull ups, and soccer drills. 12-count exercises to mark my son’s 12th birthday today.

  • Eph 4:29 Hoedown

Nine-man PAX in the frigid gloom.

Theme was the power of words, for good or ill, and the exhortation from Ephesian 4:29 to get rid of foul talk and replace it with speech that builds others up.

Exercised in snow and on pavement.

    No prayer requests or announcements.
