Three early birds ran off into the gloom on a drizzling morning and back to the ET. Total distance including DogPile is 6 miles.

A fearless five ran off into the gloom on a cool and quiet morning in another installment of breakfast club. Total distance including DogPile is 6 miles.
NMS – one car on the entire outbound route allowed the PAX to spread out along the roads – quite nice on a cool morning.
Some discussion of the merits of a fitness device.
Breakfast Club is the chips and salsa to DogPile’s burrito. Sure you can have one without the other, but why?
Once Bone Thug squared away his parking situation, seven imperial dudes conquered some breakfast miles. Salve ITG!
We ran, we workout, then ran back (except YHC who ran to ET before hand)
SPIT ON THAT!!
6 Runners decided to brave the down pours of the gloom to get their in miles before and after Dogpile.
2 miles before and 1.5ish back with plenty of puddles along the way
SPIT ON THAT!!
Eight hombres poderosos posted for early miles. Some went on to tour the T Pott, others attended the Spit Coupon Beatdown and Brewfest. A good time was had by all. Numbers, names, YHC took us out. Great way to start el sabado, caballeros!
NMMS: On the amble back, Bulkhead, Swirly and YHC discussed the benefit of incorporating more stretching after the runs. etc. After all, we’re not getting any younger (except Hardywood — who probably has a Keith Richards-looking Dorian Gray portrait of himself locked away somewhere at the alpaca ranch). At the 2dF, Gypsy mentioned that Run IDs would be good for us to have, in case someone had an injury Flipper couldn’t treat on the spot and Splinter was not able to pull up the Google Docs emergency contact list on his watch. Stay tuned.
5 hit the pavement early to get the sweat going before the sweat. 4 miles and some change, medium pace. Watermelon fueled the return trip.
Wilson is keeping it no secret that he’s atop the heap for #BigData through July so far. Well done! On this day he and 10 other seasoned vets put in work before and after the main event. 3.7 miles according to YHC’s tracker. Keep it cool out there.
9 svelte gentlemen got together for the Breakfast Club run seeking refinement to their bikini season offering. Typical route down Cary and Boulevard to DogPile and Back.
NMS – Humid today. Man that run really sapped everyone. Including DogPile, my tracker shows 7.5 miles. Really strong work everyone. Post workout, YHC likely replenished a full gallon of water, minus the coffee impact.
Great discussion of Outcome Based Coaching (pending Hardywood TM) and the distinction and evolution of our understanding of the distinctions in our careers and live events. Most help books start with a problem definition and we verbally wrote Chapter One, including an outline of topic coverage for the rest of the book. Here’s the trick- until Swirly publishes the book, you have to be on the run and keep up with him if you want an early preview. Really interesting stuff. The most important thing is that everyone needs coaching – a trusted advisor to talk things over with for an outside perspective.
My challenge for the PAX is to think about where you go for this, and what do you do to coach others.
