14 men gathered at various times for a Q by someone that wasn’t Respect, Respect Respect, or Respect Respect Respect. Mosey around the Parking Lot to pick up stragglers. COP with various exercises. Mosey to the front of the School for a Triple Check. P1 – run to the end of the Island and back, P2 Dirty Hookups, P3 – Balls to the Wall. Circle up while each man individually picks an exercise and we do 10 of that exercise. Pick up partner and go off on your own and do 10 minutes of exercises. Mosey to the Parking Lot…

17 new Chargers fans and 1 happy Q celebrated the big win in Brazil. Wearing my powder blue jersey, I was ready to lead–and so was Tatar. But Tatar made another signup sheet error and had to watch me steal his football themed workout. We circled up at the 50 yard line (around the “T” that Tatar painted in the middle of the night) and did warm up exercises in 27 and 21 counts. It did not take Attila long to know the pattern was the score last night. We did SSH, IW, WW2, Hammers, Squats, Flutters, LBCs and others…

14 RVA regulars, one downrange visitor, and one FNG showed up for a Rosie beatdown at Gridiron. According to the geese that tried to take the field, this is what may have happened. Mosey to the middle school football field for a welcome, mission, and disclaimer. Standard warm up fare with some fast paced hillbillies and 5 burpees to welcome the LIFO. Line up on the goal line. Various methods of moving 10 yards at a time – bear crawl, crab walk, lunge, crawl bear, polar bear (thanks Gomer), and others with a new exercise every 10 yards increasing then…

We had 19 post at Grid Iron to enjoy the beautiful Fall-like day. After warm up we went to pull-up bars for 2 sets of a 30-20-10 (30 Carolina Dry Docks, 20 Dips and 10 Pull-ups). Finished with a 15-20-5 to save our energy for the rest of the morning. Headed to the soccer field for a 50 yard Bear Crawl with 2 stops of 10 Merkins. Then a 50 yard Crawl Bear with 2 stops of Heals to Heaven. Followed by 50 yards of Ukrainian soldiers and 50 yards with 5 sets of 10 Squats. This was the warm…

A sweet 16 descended upon the Gridiron for a traditional Saturday boot camp.  They were definitely a bunch of chatty bitches to start, but soaked in sweat by the end. 14 dudes ranging in age from 13 to 50 plus decided to enjoy a nice fall morning at Northern Short Pump with a slightly more cardio centric beatdown. COP on a nice wet field: DQs, DMH, Helicopters, HRMs, MCs, FMs, arm circles Mosey to track. I am carrying a bag. What is in there? Go round the track. 1/4 the way – 1 burpee, 1/2 the way – 2 burpees, 3/4 the way – 3 burpees, fully around – 4 burpees. Mosey to nearby road for: Curb crawl with 2 squats per merkin go up to 5 wait for all…

0645 Friday, August 1st 2025 Gomer and Handshake are sitting next to each other at Dunkin, talk about the evenings Crab Feast and wondering who had the Q at Gridiron. YHC beat Gomer to the punch to sign up for the Q and he had the great idea to Co-Q. 1545 Friday YHC’s M dropped him off at Gomers house to Mrs. Gomer could take us to the Crab Feast at the American Legion Post off Robious. Gomer and YHC drink several beers and eat roughly 16 crabs over the 4 hour Crab Feast. Night ends after a couple beers…

Grid Iron relocated to Lake Anna and had our first of hopefully many more events there. After a brief warm up we hit 4 stations for 3 rounds of 20 of: Dips, Dirkins, Pole Smokers and Steps Ups. BiProduct came by boat with J’ville and WhiteDeer, but for some reason they couldn’t make it out of the boat for the first round…so we did a second round. Then to the beach for a series of Abs, Merkins, and Swimming/Kayaking/Padeling. We kept the Fitness part short this morning and then had coffee and carbs in the parking lot before hitting the…

14 Pax said “It is humid. It is hot. Should I go to Gridiron? Why not?”. COP: DQs, Jazzercise, Invisible jump ropes, merkins, MCs, LBCs. Mosey run with merkins. This is where we found out that despite his size Tater has quite the high decibel yell. The intent was to jog and then do 10 merkins when called. Some of the PAX had trouble hearing me so Tater took his degree from the school of the hard of hearing to yell “Down”. Two instances of this bellowing cry was heard from many a pickleballer causing temporary panic amongst them. Ended…
