One hairy Beaver emerged from the gloom for a run/walk among the icy fjords of Pine Fork Park to begin late preparation of the Frozen Triangle. With ice on his beard, and shins a burning, he managed to give thanks to the Sky Q and log a 5k! Let’s get after it this week men!

Great Gloom for Running!
2 quadzillas emerged from the gloom for a warm weather run at AO Iron Haul! There was an early start and late finish on the morning to log some extra mileage and Choo Choo threw in merkins at the nature signs logging nearly 200 Merkins while YHC ran ahead and backtracked to stick with the Chooch. A lot of mumble chatter, farts and bubbly guts were taken record of.
It was great to have company this morning to really push ourselves! Way to push Choo Choo!

Frosty Fingers
One lonely Beaver emerged from the gloom for a ruck with ignite coffee in hand to keep the core warm. Unfortunately, the yeti couldn’t help keep the fingers warm (downside to yeti’s).
Keep your eyes and ears peeled, there may or may not be an EC ruck this evening if anyone is up for it.

Not Keen on the Neighborhood Hound
2 Herculean men emerged from the gloom into the field of the Iron Haul!
It was BYOCoffee on the ruck to keep up the core temps. We stuck around a bit to make it a solid 5k. Look at for that rowdy dog at the cul-de-sac! -
Another sunrise!
The YHC couldn’t sleep, so the texts went out early and Beaver answered the call! YHC showed up a bit ahead of time and knocked out 2 miles before Beaver arrived, then we added another 2.5 miles with the rucks. Caught one of the best sunrises we’ve ever seen. Plenty of mumble chatter about the day boys we’re raising and YHC’s health still not sure what’s going on or if it’s all in his head, but we’ll see!

Beaver High Tails It
It was just the pines and Beaver this morning. YHC covered something like 5.2 mi and gets a max speed of 12.2 mph. YHC took a page from Commando’s book and used this time to talk with God in the overcast gloom. Even though I missed the guys, it was nice to have this alone time.

Bark!
Three HIMs hit the gloom this morning and knocked out just over 3 miles. The mumblechatter was strong the whole way. Beaver’s getting back into the groove and heads into his first day back at work since the baby arrived. Dexter’s touring a new school for his little girl. YHC is grinding at work but grateful to be doing it local. Solid morning of miles and fellowship! Also waking up every dog in the neighborhood!

Running Late
Baby had YHC up for a few hours last night, It’s now 5:19 AM and my snooze is going off. I was running a solid 7 minutes late for the Iron Haul this gloom. Ran out the door, flip flops on with socks and shoes in hand. No chance for my morning deuce! These things had to wait until YHB rolled up into Pine Fork Park. Come to find out, Beaver would be solo this gloom. It was a good workout as YHC ran these little legs covering every piece of the park and neighborhood by doing a double shift of Iron Haul to complete a 15K, it wasn’t comfortable but it was manageable, and would have been greater with some company.

New Baby Daddy!
0530 hit and I threw on some music as I started my ruck, fully expecting it to be a solo mission. Then at 0532 I spotted a familiar truck rolling in. Out of nowhere I heard a whistle behind me. I thought “That’s odd… I’m not even wearing my hoochie daddy shorts today.” I had to turn around and investigate. There he was BEAVER emerging from the darkness. We hit the trail and knocked out about 3.5 miles give or take. Most of the ruck was filled with good chatter about his new little girl him trying to balance the whole gang, family life, and everything that life throws at you. During our little adventure we were being stalked by an owl all morning. Thing was massive it was pretty much the same size as us.

Bear Vs Deer
2 Iron Haulers emerged into the moon filled gloom for a ruck where we checked all three F boxes. We shared our challenges of being returning Christian’s and sharing the story of Jesus with others but to be educated in particular responses from challengers. We’ll keep this on our hearts and prayers and if anybody has any tips, we’d love to hear them. I can’t close this out without mentioning our M’s, thank God for the amazing women in our lives!
