    Don’t Waste The Day!

  • 3 Cheery Ol’ Chaps emerged from the gloom for a delightful game of Mammoth Bawls! YHC emerged moments after the buzzer sounded as Tuesdays always seem to be the hardest days to rise from the ol’ fartsack. It was rather chilly out so this Q ball had the chaps follow along with a not so warmup(still chilly) with a mosey down the parking alley, side strut beyond the dog park, across the wee bridge and back to our rather cold bawls for some SSH’s, Michael Phelps, DQ’s and leg stretches.

Commando led us in a mighty good prayer to close it out! Favorite part of YHC’s morning is being in a prayer circle with Commando leading it!

  • Yukon has one big ball!

The YHC rolled in as the wind howled like a full-blown hurricane! Hopped out of the car to catch up with Commando, and what do I spot? The Silver Bullet blazing in! A sight we haven’t seen in a minute! Here’s how it all went down…

    Life is good be grateful!!

  • Return Of the Kettlebell!

3 Iron Pax Challenge Champions were released into the super moon gloom to reclaim their kettlebell AO! After 5 weeks of IPC, kettlebells fell to the wayside, justifying our AO swap by moving kettlebells to Tuesday(best thing since sliced bread!). It was a bit of a Q Potato as Choo Choo, Commando, and YHC ironed out the wrinkles as we went.

Warmarama – some stretching on the asphalt.

The Thang – Tabata – 20 sec on, 10 sec rest. 6 sets, run a close quarter mile after every round.

  • See Beaver Run

YHC rolled into the Mammoth/IronHaul parking lot to see what might be on the menu for this gloom. We’ve been discussing swapping the 2 AO’s to allow Monday to be a recovery day and doing KB’s on Tuesdays. Anyway! It was a solo party for this lonely Beaver so YHC opted for the Iron Haul run and logged some miles all over PFP while ensuring I did not encounter any copperheads!

  • Get on up and get on down to…..

Three of the finest gathered on this beautiful Monday morning. We gave the kettlebells and sandbags a break since YHC is still feeling the IronPAX and the weekend’s convergence. The YHC was trying to remember whose slogan went “Get on up and get on down to…” so if you know, chime in. Anyway here’s how it went down…

Head to the next corner do the exercise, come back for 2 more burpees, and continue until all four corners were hit. We completed two full rounds of this circuit.

    Don’t waste the day!

  • 2 Kettlebells, 1 Beaver

1 HIM emerged from the gloom onto PFP with a couple of kettlebells and no big plans for this mornings Mammoth Balls. Beaver got a little crazy and performed a plethora of exercises, some of which might be included in this IPCs Week 2 “8 Track” routine.
