  • Streaking past Prostitutes

Machismo opened big data recently to find that his No Toll streak was interrupted by a semi-colon. It’s a comma LWoods period. With a strong streak of 3 starting today. Machismo thought it would be good to get a little pre-OG workout in. 7 Strong H.I.Ms said Aye Aye and we went off on a mini asphalt based O.G. prostitute style. That was nice comma “I’ll have another” comma came the reply so more of the red light district followed. This time it was A.H. comma Scrunchy Frogs comma SSH comma and Mountain Climbers. Don’t put an “and” after your comma’s gentlemen. Rosie reminded us “if you want Big Data to work don’t screw with this.”

All jokes aside it is a pleasure to join with you all in way to many Merkins. YHC needs to get some more merkin time in. For those looking to extend the pain please look on slack for the latest CSAUP the 100. Also on slack OBT has a special screening Monday the 28th for Join or Die. You can sign up for the screening of the movie at the Byrd and OBT will be moderating a discussion at the end.

No prayer request spoken though YHC extended the call. In all seriousness let us continue to build one another up we don’t know what you you’re going through unless you share it. Keep up the good work.

  • Half Respect

A thin crowd of 6, possibly affected by Spring Break travel, or scared of an April Fool’s Old Glory, gathered at NoToll for a Hot Potato. After Tin Man turned down multiple suggestions to grab the lead, YHC took the crew to the basketball court for some warm up. No Last Call, no DQ or Arm Circles.

Mosey to the parking lot for 11s – jump squats and WWII. Machismo said he had something ready for the PAX so I passed it to Sable for the next round. Bear crawl with a merkin at every other parking space – up to 10 – sprint the rest of the way. Only 20 spaces – no sprinting required. Return with lunges for 5 spaces – now sprint. Repeato

Now Machismo gets a turn – pole smoker indigenous run that felt like it went on forever but was likely only 4 rounds. Donkey Kick indigenous run on the dumpsters 2x each with the new dumpsters delivered and new pad under construction. No investigation was done but I think the NoToll coupons have been relocated or removed.

Finish up with various line runs on the basketball court, courtesy of Sin Bin and a merkin then ab rings of fire.

Announcements leaned into discussions/questions about the upcoming Century – more info coming soon but if you can handle a boot camp you can handle a couple legs of this. Join a team, reach out to someone, you won’t want to miss the stories that come out of it.

Half the PAX was respect today, a rarity for NoToll, well done gentlemen.

  • Circular Logic

A dashing dozen gathered on the courts of NoToll for a circuit-style NTB beatdown. Last Call was even spotted engaging in a little bit of pre-beatdown Broga. Spring is in the air.

Following warmarama we split up into pairs for a pre-arranged circuit workout. Over the remaining 36 minutes we conquered the following feats:

6min per station. One partner works while the other runs across the parking lot to the gazebo and back.

  • Neighborhood Watch

The best looking of SOJ’s finest descended upon the glorious accommodations that awaited them at No Toll. Conditions were ideal for a stroll off the typical parking lot and plush fields. DJ Snuff dropped the beats so here is how things went down.

Short mosey around the basketball courts and circle up for introductions and disclaimers. Warmorama included SSH’s, Helis, Dead Man Hang, Jazzercise (with toe taps), DQ’s, another Dead Man Hang with a bit of broga mixed in.

Off we venture out towards Robious and across into the Greenleigh neighborhood.

Lindsay was 1st up with stops at each intersection for 30 Merkins, 10 squats. 25/15, 20/20, 15/25 & 10/30 until we arrived at Greenleigh park.

Triple Check with a few of your besties. Exercises included, LBC’s and Mountain Climbers, timer touches 3 different trees (no repeatos). Enough shenanigans at the park.

Burpee Road on the way back. Weave our way back thru the neighborhood using the long way. Stop at every vehicle parked on the road. 1 merkin for cars, 1 WW2 for trucks, 1 burpee for anything else. Gazelles doubled up the number and waited for the 6 at each intersection.

Back into Huguenot Park for another quick triple check at the restrooms. Pole Smokers and Lt. Dans while timer runs to the playground entrance and back.

Mosey back to the basketball courts for quick Ab centric Mary. 10 ab exercises completed in cadence. Time was called. Numbers, Names, Announcements, Prayers. YHC took us out. Prayers for Family DTH as the embark in Papa New Guinea on their medical mission for 3 months. Thoughts for Snuffs Papa-in-law and his family as they deal with declining health. Chili Cook Off at Castle El Woods on March 22nd; plush TP has been promised. Mad respect to Bone Thugs as he continues his recovery from knee surgery for putting in the miles.

NMS. Been a while since we moseyed into Machismo’s backyard to wake the neighbors. Thanks to Snuff for providing the tunes as we ventured the mean streets of Greenleigh. Always fun to mix things up a bit and appreciate the efforts of the PAX for accommodating. Good to see Dry Rub back out after his winter slumber. Thank you fellas for the opportunity to work with you guys. Great times and good conversation.

YHC took the morning yesterday to witness Belay’s naturalization ceremony.   We should be humbled by the commitment that immigrants intentionally take to make this country a better place.  YHC, a government major in college, was reminded in the ceremony that we live in a Constitutional Federal Republic.  Belay’s oath and our privilege is to serve the Constitution and not the President.  What an honor to serve a country where the founding ideas  and checks and balances in our Constitution reign.

“I hereby declare, on oath, that I absolutely and entirely renounce and abjure all allegiance and fidelity to any foreign prince, potentate, state, or sovereignty, of whom or which I have heretofore been a subject or citizen; that I will support and defend the Constitution and laws of the United States of America against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I will bear arms on behalf of the United States when required by the law; that I will perform noncombatant service in the Armed Forces of the United States when required by the law; that I will perform work of national importance under civilian direction when required by the law; and that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; so help me God.”

    Announcements:

    Frozen Triangle this Saturday

Reach out to friends in the St. Christophers, St. Catherines, and CCV communities following a freakish accident that resulted in the death of a woman YHC’s age. YHC actually knew Crandall as a middle and high schooler. She was walking back to her car Friday morning after being at the CCV gym and was struck by a car reversing out of the parking lot at very low speed. She fell and hit her head and did not survive. Very sadly, the driver knows her and her family very well. She was a mother of 3 older kids (2 high schoolers and 1 in college). Stay aware, folks…and look out for one another. This tragedy is just awful.
