  • Professional Hour?

Five runners, six professionals, and 4 amateurs set off toward the Carillon and other parts unknown.

    The Routes

    Runners – Reverse Carillon

Pros – T-Pot, War Memorial, elsewhere

Amateurs – Carillon, Burpee Lake, Insect Hell

    Numberama, Nameorama, COT

    MOLESKIN

The real gearheads seemed surprised to find 3 schlubs ready to cruise.  Bone joined a bit late to make four.  The schlubs were cruising too, at least until they circled Burpee Lake and passed through the 3rd and 4th plagues of Eqypt.  No less than 268 Gnats were swallowed per man.  Nevertheless all made it back safely.  The amateurs covered 7.42 miles, the runners 5-6, and rumor has it the pros went about 14.

    ANNOUNCEMENTS

    • The Bridge
    • Homegrown Half
  • V02 Max, Christie, and Richmond’s Finest

Somewhere between 12 and 16 able-bodied pavement warriors gathered in the forbidden parking lot for today’s RAMM/RAMM Gears. The few runners were quickly swarmed by the gears crew prior to launch. Luckily, a few more runners arrived right as we launched so numbers were relatively even.

Variations of the Clovelly route were called:

    Fartleks weren’t even discussed.

Numbers, names, YHC took us out.

The runners all remembered that darn goon Clovelly being much longer and deeper than experienced today (here come the jokes). It is still a good alternative offshoot to throw in there from time to time.

Discussion today centered around blissful colonoscopy naps, what the hell is VO2 Max and it’s theoretical limit, Christie Brinkley’s current status, and whether or not to buy condoms with diapers.

Great to see Richmond’s finest represented in the Mary parking lot today. Thank you Florence for all that you do!

    Splinter out.

  • Good Day for a run on West Franklin

A mix of regulars, summer tourists and a downrange visitor convened for the most recent edition of RAMM. YHC had posted the routes the night before but reviewed them once more for good measure.

Thanks to EF Hutton for the text reminding me to post the backblast. YHC was out of town all weekend and had forgotten.

  • A Penny Richer

According the aspiring millionaire who found a penny, miles were covered today by foot and wheel. Offshore took us out.

  • It Depends

Runners and their bike gang hit the mean streets of Mary Mumford. Miles were covered, stories we shared, and there was envy and admiration for Bodo’s vibrant shoes.

YHC look us out, but No Tools finished with a joke.

Soupy run this morning. Everyone seemed extremely excited when snake river was called. Good thing everyone is stretching before workouts now.

Enjoy your Friday’s fellas. Seek something to be happy about, it’s likely not too far from you.

    Splinter out.

  • Legit Chicken Sh!t

Ten traversers-of-the-ballsack, gathered in the waning darkness for today’s RAMM. Gumbo arrived staring at his phone, likely studying the route. Saab appreciated the ball sack route which prompted many jokes on balls. Bone Thugs appropriately stated, “that escalated quickly”.

If you want to know what happens when you load chicken shit into your car, check with Chippendale. If you want to save money on garbage disposal, check with Saab. There were competing backblast title candidates related to composting. Tomatos with feathers was a close second.

    Have a great Friday everyone.
