  • Solo El Twin Teamo

Feeling like it would be a solo run this morning, YHC took off from the house early enough to arrive at the AO before launch just in case someone showed up. Parking lot was empty so after a loop around it was off to Tarrington, up Ashwell, across Robious and back to the house.

Decided to run back down Twin Team in honor of Rosie’s Trick or Treat workout. Still what goes down must come back up, and so the lounge-esque act of running down Twin Team was rewarded by running back up Ashwell. And it was wet, very wet.

  • Dude, Where Are My Keys

We’ve all been there, trying to rush out the door for a workout and the keys are nowhere to be found. Doozy sent the 5:15 AM text to YHC as he frantically searched the house. Figured he’d catch up with Bullseye and I so basic directions were provided and sure enough, after keys secured, the River Runners met out on the route. 4 miles achieved around River Downs. Today’s topic of conversation – medical procedures.

  • River Run Volume 145

Doozy volunteered to rejoin a River Run outing and so off we went. 5:29 AM sharp. 4 mile route around the flats of Tarrington, the river and then up the hill across from the baseball field which YHC had strangely not recalled running.

    Thanks for the company Dooz.

  • Solo Indigenous People Run

Today YHC had the best indigenous people run to commemorate the holiday. 4 miles of sprinting to the front. Route was around the high school, to the park, back around the high school, in and out of various parking lots and cul de sacs.

  • Failure to Not Launch

Knew I might be solo today so I opted to run from the house at 5:20 down to the AO. Couple swings through the parking lot around 5:30. No one showed, continued to run through the Tarrington hood back over Robious to Twin Team and home. 4 miles as usual.

Minimal mumble chatter. Nice morning for a run.

  • River Run v32

Bullseye and YHC cruised around JRHS and River Downs for an out and back 4 miler. Weather was nice, 70 and sunny as always. Good conversation, good pace.

  • Mount Hill Loops

YHC couldn’t leave the area due to the M out of town so the flare was sent to Bullseye and we convened at casa Singer to run Mount Hill. Somewhere around 7 total loops, 4 miles in total. Managed to avoid any falling acorns and owl attacks. Good stuff.

Not sure if anyone made it to the official F3 starting point but if they did, hope their run went well.

  • River Runners

Three regulars joined up to log some miles. Route was flat and around, 4 in total. Stories were shared. Best of luck to those with empty nests or sending one of to college.

  • Mount Hill Loops

Sent out the bat signal the evening prior to some of the locals. YHC was solo parenting and therefore only able to run around Mount Hill Drive, hoping maybe someone would join from Bettie Weaver or at the least by sending the message forcing myself to get up and exercise. 3 miles of back and forth was the mileage solo in the books, assuming no one made River Run based based on the feedback from locals so I’m taking the backblast.

  • Three’s company for the ghost flag

Three F3 Clydesdales came out to a balmy morning at river run only find a beatdown awaited them. A handshake Q turned into a YHC Q thanks to the ghost flag. El Nancyo (I hear this is a thing now) gave the PAX a run option but all agreed on bootcamp.

Mosey around the front circle for some warmups. 20 each SSH, LBC; Seal Training: Overhead claps, front claps, 10 Each, Jazzercise, Helicopters, Imperials Walkers, , Copper head squat, Cherry pickers, Merkins, Dollies, Flutters.

Mosey to base of twin team hill. Years ago Doozy led the toughest F3 workout I had ever done with a suicide up Twin Team hill. We were not going to do that but rather a variation.

The 10 percenter. 10% up the hill and perform 10 exercises, 10% more and perform 20 exercises while repeating only the last. 10 Merkins, 20 WWII’s, 30 squats, 40 Drydocks, 50 Dollies, 60 Monkey Humpers, 70 second plank hold, 80 LBC’s, 90 SSH’s, 100 APD’s. YHC’s measurements were off and hill was not as long as memory! We winded around at the top to Singers house for the ending. Run BTTF arriving 3 minutes over.

Announcments: Clown cars for the bridge this Saturday (Bootleg and upchuck). Homegrown half, 5K, 10K this Saturday.

Prayers to Charlotte may god wrap healing hands around her. YHC took us out in prayer.

Mumblechatter was strong this morning, it was a pleasure working out with you gentleman! Handshake has the SOJ ghost flag.
