The Wednesday June 19th Roller Coaster hill run will launch from the parking lot behind Palani Drive (401 Libbie Avenue). We will meet in the parking lot and have a hard start at 6PM. We will then run up and down some nearby hills and then retreat back to Palani Drive for HDHH! If you cannot make the run, please join us at the restaurant. Runners should be back by 6:45PM or so. There is outdoor seating at Palani Drive, which will be key for those that do not smell the best after a run. This will be good training for…

Something like 6 showed up, but no more than 3 in any one place at any one time. Routes were run, mostly in ones and twos. YHC did a small, a medium, and a large…something in the 4 range. Others did more or did less. Some rucked. Each man took himself out in his own personal ball of man (or ball of young man). The young man also had a blue ring pop, which all others coveted. No actual violations of Commandment 10 were contemplated. The ring pop attacked Husky’s face and clearly came out the victor. NMS: So, it’s…
3 warriors posted on a wednesday for a jaunt around hillcrest. Kubota and Husky did a couple laps and TYA ran a few long and medium loop. NMM Big data gods must be appeased.
YHC thought that it was just going to be he and TYA for the Roller Coaster run this evening, but as YHC pulled into the parking lot behind Palani Drive, he was happy to see Posh already parked and ready to go. Not far behind, Ronnie showed up ready to go and then, the man himself, TYA pulled in and met us at the corner ready to start, except, his running shorts were on inside-out. Now, if you don’t already know, TYA has some challenges with running attire. Well, this attire looked like Florence Griffith Joyner with her underwear outside…
One PAX bounded up, down, around, and over the Roller Coaster on this fine Wednesday. With Bodo’s insightful words fresh from this morning’s beatdown and the rain adding a refreshing environmentally-friendly cleansing (with props to Ollivander), YHC motored through one Big, one Medium, and one Small loop. Untimed. NMS: It’s great to run solo, it’s great to run in the rain, and it’s great to have take some time for introspection. Check, check, and check. Announcements: YHC encouraged YHC to figure out ways to drive more men to more 3rd F.
Tres hombres posted, each with his own approach, to this edition of the Roller Coaster. Temps were sunny and 70. No humidity, no heat, no problem. Swirly did one long, one medium, one small. Somewhere around 4.5 miles. UpChuck did one medium, one small. Somewhere around 3+ miles. TYA walked a few laps in preparation for this weekend’s 100+ mile hike. NMS: The ladies of Hillcrest apparently have never seen a runner, certainly not on a hot day.
