  • Get the Corners

3 grizzled Gladiators embarked on a journey this gloomy! Discussions included: Gladiator 2, the perks of having kids, cheeseburgers, what keeps customers coming back, showering, the pyramids, ancient roads outperform US roads of today, cheap products create more consumerism, Ukrainian friendships, the perks of having kids…

YHC had to get downrange for work ASAP but we were able to get in about 2.5 miles of Ruck this morning.

  • When I Ruck, You Ruck, We Ruck

Late post for Saturday mornings pre bootcamp 3 mile ruck around the park. Good conversations as 4 of us land lovers had a good weighted trek.

  • Ruckhenge 121124

What goes down must come up. It was great to see 9 men out this morning for a rainy 3.5 miles of hilly terrain. Great work everyone. This mornings Q.source was focused (maybe not so focused) on Articulation and Persuasion.

    Announcements (check slack), Numberama, Names

  • (NewKent) Getting Skooled

3 hims rolled in at 0529 ready to throw some weight on there backs and hit the trails. A lot chatter from Yukon and Wildwood this morning about IT data centers. They both have backgrounds in IT work. Wildwood does IT consulting for data centers techs. Yukon works with the state on IT data audits. Knocked out 3.14 miles this morning in the gloom!

    Numbers, Names and Prayer Request

    Yukon Cornelius took us OUT!

  • Rucking around the Christmas Tree

We got word that there was some theft going on yesterday afternoon at the park so, we’re rucking and neighborhood watching for the community now.

we got just shy of a 3 mile ruck in this morning for some extra credit. Bring on the warm weather!

  • SOJ Monthly Ruck

3 HIMs braved the cold weather this week and met at Midlothian Middle School for this month’s ruck meetup (first Tuesday of every month, details posted in Slack).

YHC lead the way, heading South from the school, looping around the new Library and into the Midlo Mines back entrance.
completed the trail, headed across the street and around the lake. Reminiscing about Fandango’s apartment living, we hung a right at the cemetery and made our way BTTF.

Chilly morning but wind was minimal and it was a great day to be outside. Coffee afterwards hit the spot.

  • Spider

4 runners and 4 ruckers made up the spider this morning.

No one got lost and everyone had a great time!

    Happy Birthday to Bulkhead!!

  • Frostbite Fanatics

Six men dressed in all black, and one in light grey, trekked their weighted packs through the frozen tundra of Bon Air for another edition of Ruckhenge. The 20-degree air put an extra pep in our step and we covered 3.5miles before shuffling into Einstein’s bagels for coffeerama and QSource discussion with Rodeo Clown joining while on IR.

Great conversations around the topics of Trust (3.3) and Vision (3.4) but nothing was recorded for posterity.

  • (NewKent) Major Shrinkage

A 3-mile ruck in the cold is no joke props to Wildwood for getting up at 0500 and getting after it for his first ruck. He’s been here in New Kent for about a month now and he’s loving the winery’s and the golf courses that we have out here. I have a feeling we are gonna see this guy a lot. He’s a great addition to the pax out here in the east end!

    OUT

  • New Kjerntsey

What a morning for some extra credit! Look out Handshake, 3 hunks showed up for a ruck so cold, their nipples could cut glass!
The ruck was cut short at 2.5 miles when an unrecognizable vehicle pulled into the lot. Our curiosity got the best of us, so we went to greet this 1 New Jersey down ranger and his EH’d soon to be brother in law.
It was nice having these guys join us this morning, Bangkok mentioned the workout had an IPC difficulty level, we’ll take that as a complement all day!
