3 HIM’s emerged to the Lumberyard for some heavy rucking and running! Wonka and Beaver carried a lot of weight – I decided to venture off for a run and we met back at the starting point for names and numbers.

The usual Ruck warriors welcomed Dry Rub to speed ruck the mean streets of Bon Air, clocking 3.5 miles with the encouraged topic of Doomsday Prepping livening up the usual discussion. Coffee and deep philosophical thoughts occurred after at Einstein. Always a pleasure gents! Yours AYE! ~DTH
It was an all WEAG ruck at Morning Wood! We completed the paved trail, went up and back by the dog park, and looped around near the flag. It was a great trek and excellent conversation………….until we saw Mudslide putting up signs in the parking lot. Great to see House and Meatball out there battling through injuries. Keep it up fellas.
Seven soggy HIMs braved the Larus Park Swamp for a brisk 4 mile ruck. The local ducks thought we were part of their gaggle and decided to join us for coffee rama. We stretched our minds discussing world history as we powered our way through chapter 2 of The Uses of the Past.
You can tout your fireworks or drone displays all you like, but nothing beats a glorious sunrise on a fine summer day. Five HIM’s got in a few miles under ruck-weight, and concluded with a ceremonial uncovering of the cabers and GTE logs. Conversation was excellent as usual and all five PAX stuck around for the main event – see next post… Yours AYE! ~DTH
Gumbo put out the late call for anyone interested in a pre-Convergence ruck. Poolboy answered the call and we got in 2.5 (Poolboy got 3+). Thanks for showing up Poolboy.
6 Ruckers battled rain, mud, spider webs, and the gritty streets of Bon Air this morning. It was YHC’s first time Qing at Ruckhenge – what could go wrong? The route consisted of a loop through the neighborhood across Huguenot road. We ventured into Laurus Park and completed the Red Trail loop. Back into downtown Bon Air for some added mileage, then arriving at Einstein Bagels at exactly 6am. Overall, an excellent way to start the day!I had to bounce prior to the book discussion – but I am sure the fellas were digging deep into the Byzantine experience.
Three of us hit the trail this morning for a ruck with some weight on our backs. We knocked out 2.5 miles and threw in 10 rounds of burnies at the biggest hill Pinefork Park has to offer. Plenty of talk about getting our boats on the water. hopefully at least one of us has a boat that floats and maybe even runs in the next few weeks! It’s Dry July boys! Step out of that comfort zone and give up something that usually gives you ease. Growth starts where comfort ends. Let’s get after it!
A hard-thing-loving duo we’ll call Try Clown took off on the Rockwood perimeter loop and lost themselves in deep conversation while pushing the Repeat Loop button for 53 minutes. With this level of humidity, better the open air than going into suffocating woods trails. Big Rig temporarily joined the romantic duo a couple times but kept taking off for more running miles. Halfway through the hour Chaplain and 2.0 Touchdown joined the ruck having laid out the deadly Abcathalon course. The PAX completed just shy of 3 miles, and quality conversation was enjoyed by all. Yours AYE! ~DTH
2 Nomads emerged from gloom for a ruck off the beaten path! Through the neighborhood and onto a gravel road that may or may not have been a posted property. Couldn’t tell with the sweat in our eyes. We tallied about 2.5 mi to get some stretching in 10 mins prior to a rowdy AO.
