Old Stony Point ruck

A dynamic dozen assembled in the Stony Point Shopping Center parking lot for another round of Ruckhenge! Rucks were donned at 0500 and we set off for a lap around the shopping center before returning to the Southbound courtyard for a change of pace to the AO status quo… Gelati Celesti was closed, so we continued our workout with a quick stretch and then paired up for touch-a-tree! Ruck out-and-back from the courtyard, touching new trees each time, no repeats. Stop for booyah merkins at the pavilion after each round. Descending trees and booyah merkins: 10 to 1 After 55…

A dozen Ruckhenge enthusiasts jumped aboard the Q train for a 3 mile ruck and discussion of all things, with a focus on the 5 Foundations of the Q Source. Sounding like a gaggle of school girls the PAX followed YHC on some new paths to get us up to Stony Point Fashion Park, then the wide loop around Larus Park. Oyster, master of the orgasm lap, played Duck Duck Goose around COT to ensure he achieved the full 3.0 miles. All 12 PAX stuck around for Einstein coffeerama and phenomenal Q Source discussion. For those interested in jumping aboard…

3 Ruckers, including a distinguished guest from F3 Smokies, hit the streets of Bon Air/South Richmond for some early morning fun. I had originally planned to cross Huguenot Road and head towards my house……….but with Rep Sleepy in town, called an audible and made our way to Laurus Park. Sable took the lead as I had no clue where the trails come out – and he is an effective spider web clearer. We ended up doing a mixture of trails and the neighborhoods surrounding the park. At the halfway point, we stopped for some ruck exercises including curls, overhead presses,…

Seven dad’s linked up to ruck for an hour. No, there was not a particular route planned, and No, the route shape doesn’t mean anything (though Purple Rain suggested Human Caterpillar). Many fine topics were discussed. Prayers for NTB’s upcoming babymoon trip to Cali and for all the families launching into a new school year. Yours, DTH

Three amigos stomped through the Larus Park trails, under Chippenham Pkwy, and down Cherokee Rd to conduct some light trespassing to admire the pre-dawn James River. After enjoying the view of the serene river for a moment, we doubled back to the flag for a 3.5mile ruck. Several local, state, and federal issues were resolved but we were moving so fast we didn’t write any of them down. We did, however, learn that Japan has the best snowboarding on the planet.

Eight ruckers assembled in the moonlight (no that was parking lot lights) for a prompt 0500 launch of Ruckhenge. Walking disclaimer and welcome as we went off for a 3 mile ruck. The Route Lights on and head towards Huguenot. West on Huguenot to Jimmy Winters, left on Rattlesnake past the library, right on Pulliam, loop around Bon Air Elementary via the newly paved trail. Quick side step around the not-yet-complete bridge before heading north on McRae. Left on Bullington, through the trail to the church, then back towards the launch site. Add a loop behind the AO through the…

A fantastic foursome set off from Stony Point shopping center at 0500 burdened with the tried and true stressors of work, newborn babies, and backpacks full of heavy $%@#! Approximately 3.15 miles were logged on a new route through the neighborhood and the PAX ended with 10min of weighted movements in the parking lot so our pump was fresh for crushing bagels and coffee at Einstein’s afterwards. Many great topics of discussion today including the joys of newborns, government contracts, “loving” your mammon (Q-Source word for job), and which state has the most ridiculous legal pitfalls to traverse.

4 men, former representatives of Death and Liberty platoons, met for a some quick miles through Larus Park and the streets around Ruckhenge. Here is how it went. Slow start across the parking where we did some good mornings, and prying goblet squats before hitting the trails. Some good banter and reminiscing took place with our returning brother NTB. Wrapped it up with a few down to the ground and up agains wearing packs as a little reminder of our Bootcamp at the War Memorial during GTE47!

Three men, three letters, at least 3 miles, and as always amazing conversation. #SOJ THE ROUTE Roll up at 0500 on the dot, closely behind Dealer Sable dutifully waiting beside his beautiful new Ruckhenge Shovel Flag Rucks ON No Disclaimer, just get MOVIN!
