    it was 70 and sunny this gloom as 2 eastenders got started about 2 minutes late, but that’s alright, we paid the troll toll(bonus points if you can name that show) with 10 Burpees and kept the heart rates and sweats up until the clock ran out!

    Set the EMOM timer to go off every 2 minutes of the entire 45 minutes to stop, drop and do 5 burpees.

    Warmarama-Mosey to the east octagon. 20 arm circles IC, keep arms raised, 20 reverse arm circles IC, keep arms up, 20 seal claps IC, keep arms raised, 20 Overhead Claps IC for the SkyQ, keep arms raised and squat into Al Gore. Dead man hang, to the left and right, rock the baby, Wilson’s wife, Fudd’s Wife, 10 Merkins IC, Roscoe’s Wife, 10 American Hammers IC, 25 SSH’s IC.

    Mosey to the snack shack and bring the picnic tables together like butt cheeks, or close enough to stand between them. 11’s – hanging picnic table dips, lap around the snack shack, Wet Toilet Seats. Don’t forget to put the picnic tables back where you found them!

    Mosey to the monkey bars for 20 hanging leg raises. 20 more hanging leg raises. 10 more hanging leg raises.

    Mosey back to the parking lot for a brief COT leg stretch, Numberama and Namerama. Announcerama – Beaver will be Q’ing the 3rd stop AO at 45MOM for the Frozen Triangle on Feb 8 in Richmond.

  • You Can Dress Too Warm For This Weather

    3 noble nomads embarked on a frozen ruck to ensure the hiking trail at the Lumberyard was blazed for the late morning risers.
    Wildwood could nearly ice skate the trail in his sneakers. Choo Choo forgets his watch(terrible feeling if you like tracking your workouts). YHC dresses way too warm and discreetly pulls the tarp to cool down the nips!

    Great ruck gentlemen, we trailblazed at least a minuscule section to make it back to the chariots on time.

    One warrior rose early from the fart sack to ensure his chariot and steed were ready, warm, and free of snow for the icy tundra that stood between he and an OTB iron chucking at Thee Ol’ Lumberyard!

  • [NewKent]Baby Steps

    Two monkey humper lovers scheduled a later than usual workout this morning. It’s been a morning of recovery yet progress as we practiced running in short walks – and jogs as well as short cadences and gliding for 4 miles.

    We got plenty of mumble chatter time and some after run OYO for 10 minutes.

  • Modification Station!

    Choo Choo and YHC split the Q this brisk gloom for our 3rd man on turf, Yukon Cornelius. Much modification was made this morning since Choo Choo’s upper body got crushed after yesterday’s Convergence (shoutout GomerPyle!) and Yukon is battling a hernia. Meanwhile, this hairy Beaver’s MABA itch got scratched at the convergence (shoutout DTH!) so burpees were thrown in to check off that daily 100 count.

    Cherry Pickers IC, DQ’s IC, Helicopters IC, Arm Flappers OYO, On your 6 for leg stretches, Roscoe’s Wife.

    COP1 – We then moseyed to the north football field goal line to get our magic legs on with Lt Dans for 100 yrds and Bernie back. Choo Choo hands off the Q for some Beaver F3ver.

    COP2 – Since we’re already on the turf: Crab Walk 100 Yards – 5 Burpee buy in, and 5 burpees every 25 yards. Burpees to pick up the six.

    COP3 – Mosey to the hill. 5 WW2’s at the bottom, bear crawl up hill, 5 WW2’s at the top and 5 burpees(optional) crawl bear back down. 5 – 6 rounds.

    COP4 – Mosey back to the south football field goal line. 3 broad jumps, 1 Burpee, and 3 WW2’s for 100 yards.

  • The Extra Mile

    4 HIM’s came ready to ruck for the final gloom of 2024. We brought along much mumble chatter and a coupon to pass every quarter mile to make the ruck a little more challenging. We may have dropped our rucks back at our chariots however we continued walking and hitting some pull-up bars and bench dips along the way, finishing up at 4.11 miles.

    I’m hoping to bring in some logs for 2025.

  • We Almost Uncorked a Bottle of Merlot!!!

    It was a great Saturday gloom for 4 HIM’s in The Lumberyard! Choo Choo finally made it out after working downrange in WV this week, it was great to have him back.

    Rendition of a rendition of The Beast and The Alpha. The Omega! 8 reps x8 sets x8 rounds.

    Start at the corner of the soccer field and do a figure 8 through the entire field at every corner to make 8 stops(50 yard run between stops). Meet back up at starting point for next round. Included: Merkins, LBC’s, Squats, Shoulder Taps, Crunchy Frogs, Diamond Merkins. YHC cut it short for the next COP.

    Pool Boy and I almost splashed Merlot! But we kept the cork on it!

    A game I learned down in Newport News. Requires F3 Workout Card deck and Frisbees. Q establishes launch point to throw frisbees to concrete pad. Run to pick up your frisbee after throwing to bring it back. If you miss the concrete = 5 burpee penalty when you get back. All PAX after disc retrieval regardless of concrete or grass landing, flip over their own card from the deck to preform the workout. All workouts are 25 reps. All MOT is the soccer field and back. All 100 count cards are as is. The PAX pulled a world class move in joining me as YHC drew the Bear Crawl card at the end of the workout. Excellent support guys, I’m glad I didn’t have to do it alone, that’s one of the many perks of this group!

    YHC closed us out in COT and prayer. Praying for the health of our HIM’s and family members.

    Last weekends sermon at church has been on my mind, and I want to share it here. It is up to us to choose to be joyful or not in our daily lives. Do everything you can with joy in your heart, even if it might not be a joyful experience.

  • 2 Men and a Runner?

    Shovel flag’s up and Coupons down! I guess the shovel flag wasn’t the only thing that was up at 6 AM, am I right guys? Haha!

    Pool Boy and YHC got after it this morning for some EC with a 3 mile ruck and a coupon to carry to share and handed it off every 1/4 mile. Choo Choo rolled in about 3/4-1 mile into our ruck to do a partial run and ruck but couldn’t seem to find us to team up.

    Great ruck this morning with Pool Boy, it’s always nice getting to know him a bit more every time we get together.
