  • Mind The Chickpeas

    A dirty dozen descended upon Mary to partake in a geriatric-led workout.  A variation of Bodos’ old hundred was administered with only a one-quarter of the running distance applied (imagine that).  Subsequent activities involved a cross-court-crawls and a triple check.

    Good to see Noodles sticking with it and dropping is “Kotters” designation.  Dad jokes appeared to win out over the NSFW anecdotes administered by YHC.

    Convergence this weekend marking 11 years of mayhem.  The gratitude I have for being part of this organization for over 10 of these years is immeasurable.

  • Mark it Eight Dude…

    This many gents showed for a geriatric-inspired workout under the light of a Venus and Jupiter conjuction. Two others demonstrated their peddling prowess on two wheels. Here is the rundown of what can best be described as a knock-off of Bodos’ Old Hundred…

    Run length of field, complete exercise, then run back and wait for the 6. Starting at 90, decrementing the count by 10. Exercises were as follows: Flutter Kicks, Hello Dollys, Mountain Climbers, Box Cutters, LBCs, WWIIs, Merkins, Burpees. (Bonus points to the one who actually reads this BB and can name the exercise that is omitted from this list.)

    YHC learned a lot today including an astronomical use for the word conjunction, and for a select few…not speaking to your wife and kids can actually promote family harmony in certain situations…who knew??

  • The Case of the Purloined Polo


    Mischief and Hijinx were afoot today as a lucky 13 arrived to run, bike, and walk.  Runners were treated to incorrect road-signage-designation courtesy of YHC. 

    YHC was treated to a life-lesson of never leaving one’s garments unattended in the company of his fellow smart-asses, while also paying closer attention to the fashion-choices of others – particularly those with a devious streak…(rhymes with NoDoz).

    A lucky seven arrived for a geriatric-led workout. YHC was pleased not only a visit by a distant pax member from out West, but Kubota’s choice of footwear which would be considered standard-issue at the Brandermill-Woods brunch club.

    Remember, although style is subjective, it can be objectively difficult on the eyes…
