  • Back to Bootcamp

Time to reclaim Hearbreak Ridge.  After 3 straight weeks of ultimate and dingers (all good, just realizing it had been 3 straight weeks), time to strap on the boots for a beat-down.  Here is how it went down:

    • COP
      • SSH
      • IW
      • DQ
      • Helicopter
      • Arm Circles
    • Mosey to the football field for a cumulative beast:
      • 216 HRM
      • 180 reverse crunches
      • 144 squats
      • 108 flutter kicks
      • 72 2x crab cakes
      • 36 burpees
    • Cool down with 50 LBC and 40 APD
    • Mosey back to the parking lot with a Bernie back up the slope
    • COT with YHC taking us out

It was time for the paid workout hogging the parking lot to see how real men workout.  Solid work from the PAX today.  If you have not been in a PAX with our elder statesman Pigskin, make it a point.  He is running laps around dudes ½ his age.  It is spectacular.  Plus, he is a great guy to hang out with.  Solid work from all of the PAX.  Lighthouse, Ronnie, and Handshake were leading the PAX.  Great to see Carfax.

God is good all of the time!

  • 60 & Sunny

Always 60 and sunny, maybe not.  But it was today!  Time to seize the day with an enthusiasm unbeknownst to the rest of mankind.  Here is how it went down:

    • COP
      • SSH
      • IW
      • Dead man hang
      • Helicopters
      • Arm circles – forward & backwards
      • Suzanne Somers
      • Merkins
      • LBC
    • Mosey to the bus loop for a one man Dora – 5 intervals with a run in between for each of the following:
      • Sit ‘n press – 100 total reps
      • Halos – 150 total reps
      • Lawnmower pulls – 200 total reps
    • COT with YHC taking us out

Great to have Termite back for another posting this week!  Solid work from our newest member of the PAX.  Also, good to have more passport tour members at this KB AO.  Great start to the day.  PAX gave thanks for able bodies and great fellowship that came with this morning.

God is good all of the time!

  • Reclaiming the Gridiron

Today had the markings of a higher mileage, high rep beat-down.  No humidity, plenty of clouds and an extra 1 ½ hours of sleep.  The Gridiron awaited 12 noble and mostly healthy warriors.  Here is how it went down:

    • Mosey to the lower football field for COP
      • SSH
      • IW
      • Dead man hang
      • Helicopters
      • Arm circles – forward & backwards
      • Suzanne Somers
      • Merkins
      • LBC
    • Mosey to the main baseball field in the back of the school for an arch loader
      • Load the arch from LF line to 2B with:
        • Bear crawl
        • Crab walk
        • Bunny hop
        • Duck walk
        • Cheetah sprint
      • Mosey to the outfield wall for 10 burpees (50 total)
      • Run back to LF line
    • Mosey to the tennis courts for four corners with 10, 15, 20 & 25 reps (70 total) of:
      • HRM
      • WWII sit-ups
      • Monkey humpers
      • Crab cakes (2x)
      • Reverse crunches
    • Mosey back to the parking lot for a 3x check
      • Run parking lot
      • Chicken peckers
      • LBC
    • COT with YHC taking us out

A little over 2 ½ miles with plenty of ground and pound reps.  For those looking in the normal spots for us (e.g. Gypsy and maybe Probation?), we ventured a different path today, so more running for you.  We were not on the turf fields!  YHC had to take advantage of the cool weather and well-conditioned PAX in an effort to see some different parts of the AO.  The PAX learned that there is a crap load of cricket being played at the Gridiron on Saturday.  Our AO is infiltrated with pickle ball and cricket.  Time to reclaim the Gridiron’s masculinity and put some chest hair on it.

Great work by the PAX.  Great start to the weekend.  Prayers up for our injured PAX members.  As always, iron sharpens iron, but it is great to laugh while we do it.  Great work men!

God is good all of the time!

Great to have some visitors today as Snuff and Splinter joined the PAX.  Solid work from these warriors.  They were definitely more quiet than a vacationing White Deer.  Noble efforts from the remainder of the PAX.  Great start to a Thursday!

God is good all of the time!

  • Make White Deer’s a Double (Respect)

HBD to White Deer!   He is loud, obnoxious and vulgar, but there is not a more faithful friend.  If you ever need something, there is not a more generous and dependable member of the PAX.  Do not let the farts and Viagra jokes fool you.  Double respect has been earned.  Great turnout to celebrate a PAX legend.  HBD brother!  If you missed him today, come to Gridiron on Saturday for a birthday encore.  If you late, no worries, we will still be within a 25 yard radius of the parking lot.

Home run derby at HBR on Tuesday.  Come to Tuckahoe Little League, not Quioccasin Middle.

God is good all of the time!

  • More KB

YHC has to admit that he has not read back blasts or group texts from the PAX while away.  Today could have been a repeat of prior weeks.  Still good to be with these men.

Convergence on Saturday at 7 a.m. at Dogpile.

God is good all of the time!

  • Ladder Chase

      • Russian soldiers
      • DQ
      • Helicopters
      • Arm circles
      • APD

      • Sit ‘n press
      • Shoulder press

    • COT with YHC taking us out

Great work from the PAX today.  Big data requirement fulfilled. YHC is going to bed.

God is good all of the time!

  • Shut Up White Deer

A solid showing for early summer today at the Gridiron.  Fourteen noble warriors linked arms to attack to the mother of all AOs.  Here is how it went down:

    • COP
      • Punitive burpees to shut White Deer up
      • SSH
      • IW
      • DQ
      • Arm circles – forwards and backwards
      • Helicopters
      • Suzanne Somers
      • Merkins
      • LBC
    • Mosey to the grassy knoll for 10 minutes of burpees
    • 25 APD chaser
    • Partner up for 4 sets of 10 jerkins and 20 PLTs
    • Mosey to the football field for an abdora (one-man, ab-focused Dora)
      • 100 WWII sit-ups in 20 rep increments
      • 160 reverse crunches in 40 rep increments
      • 200 LBC in 50 rep increments
    • Series of sprints to wrap it up
    • COT with YHC taking us out

YHC had intended to do 100/200/300 of the abdora exercises, but time became an issue.  Cut is shorter, but still solid work from the PAX.  Good to have familiar and new faces aboard.  Good fellowship at Einsteins followed.  White Deer was quieted rather early.  Tater as usual was hopped up on caffeine.

God is good all of the time!
