As YHC arrived at NO Toll (5:10) to put out todays beatdown paraphernalia, Tin Man was already on the scene getting after it with some laps around the field. YHC put a bucket of goodies out under the Gazebo and made his way back to the truck to see who else would arrive. L-Woods snuck onto the playground to get 5 pull ups in for todays penance. 5:26 time to get after it and see who else has ventured out in the ice and snow.
5 Iron Men gathered at the flag when all was said and done.
Indigenous people walk (parking lot was super icy) with the home made medicine ball. Person in the back does 5 Squats, hands the ball to the next guy and runs (shuffles) to the front.
At the gazebo we do some stretches, LBCs and Merkins
Move over to find the burpee bucket – Keep it simple, rotating 3 exercises (Squats, Ball Dippers, SSH) PAX moves together hitting corner 1 back to the bucket for 5 burpees. Run to the center of the field back to the burpee bucket so on and so forth. Ice on top of the snow but it was really interesting how most of the time you didn’t break through it and how it wasn’t slippery.
Doozy music was playing from the bucket as the beatings continued
Grab the bucket and the ball and indigenous people walk back to the flag with 5 squats in the back run to the front and grab the bucket.
Lots of time left, leave the ball at the truck. Take the bucket because the music is good.
Four corners on the basketball court. 10 Merkins, 10 Plank Jack, 10 American Hammers, 10 LBCs. Machismo points out how this is probably the least slick the basketball courts have ever been.
Repeto 20
Repeto 30 (with a break at 15 Merkins)
Repeto 40 (with a break at 20 Merkins)
BTTF Numbers / Names Machismo took us out
NMS: YHC had 2 plans for the day, if less than 3 others showed up the beatdown would have been 100% made up on the fly. More than 3 others and we would follow through with the main plan. YHC had planned it this way because there were glow sticks to go along with it and less than 4 HIM seemed like a waist of the sticks. With 5 HIM it was going to happen. However once under the gazebo and looking out onto the snow covered fields we could see everything and the decision was made to save the sticks for another time.
