  • More big data for Bullseye

We all know how Bullseye checks his big data points daily. Someone promised him that whoever collects the most big data points gets a bonus check at the end of the year.

4 Miles, to the park through JRHS to the WAWA and back

  • Big Data for Bullseye

YHC forgot to do the BB for last week and now there are two to write

    4 miles

  • Pimpin, I mean Loungin ain’t easy

4 lounge ready individuals started another weekend keeping it loungy. No Q on the sheet so YHC decided to take the opportunity to employ the KISS method to this mornings beatdown and go with what you know.

Mosey to the back of BWES, lots of stretches with some other movements

Mosey to door 1, at each door do that number of called exercise. Luckily there are only 10 doors so WWIIs seamed to be a good call. We did another round with lunges too

Mosey back around to the back for 4 corners, keep it loungy 5 – LBCs, 10 – WWIIs, 15 – Scrunchy Frogs, 20 – American Hammers. Another round with an audible 10 – Squats, 15 – Lung walks (turned into 10 because of the space), 20 – LT Dans (turned into 10 because), 25 – Monkey Humpers

Mosey to the playground – 10 pullups or just hang there, 10 Merkins, 5 pullups – 5 merkins, 3 pullups – 3 merkins

Back to the front of BWES – more stretching

BTTF numbers / names YHC took us out

NMS: Using the regular lexicon and keeping it loungy is harder than you would think

  • 1 Man, 5 miles

Me, myself and I took off to get a few miles in before it got too hot on the river today. Route was to the park passed JRHS into Riverdowns South up the big hill, down the big hill and back to JRHS

NMS: YHC had missed the last few Mondays so a solo run was understandable. Hope to see the usual suspects next Monday.

  • Don’t upset Last Call

7 strong showed up for a Doozy of a time at the Lounge. 5:30 a brief explanation of the laid backness of the Lounge and how it may be or may not be more or less than expected but it will be what you need for today.

Mosey to the front of BWES to find dry ground. A little of this and a little of that with some stretches to start us off.

Mosey out of the parking lot and take a right (Last Call is not feeling good about this) to Twin Team. Our task for today is slow and on the go. Starting at the bottom we did 20 squats walked a bit up the hill until YHC said stop did 20 of something else repeto to the top (probably) 5 stops total walk in between. Run back to the bottom at your pace. Repeto again with different exercises

Back to the front of BWES circle up for Man Kill……… Oh this is the Lounge, its a no Burpee / No Man Killer zone (Last Call is walking back towards the circle). Stretches instead, then BTTF.

    NMS:

YHC hasn’t been at a beat down for a while let alone had the Q. With the empty Q sheet it just seemed like a good idea to add my name. Q’ing at the Lounge is a little different and has a little slower pace.

  • It’s been a minute, I think I know what I’m doing

YHC showed up to a group of Broga participants and Machismo coming in hot on a running warm up, 13 total gathered to see if YHC could remember how to call cadence while mumble chatter was happening.

5:30 lets roll to the basketball court for COP

DQ’s, Helicopters, Imperial Walkers and Dead Man Hang

Move to the base line and run a quick Suicide

Line up on the baseline for Man Killers

Suicides, Duck walk with 10 Jump Squats at each line (X3)

Suicides, Lung walk with 10 Ball Dippers at each line (Modify run the return) (X3)

Mosey to the Indoor Outhouse, triple check partner one does pole smokers, partner 2 does balls to the wall, partner 3 runs to the truck and back as the timer. (X3)

Mosey back to the Basketball Court

Suicides, Bear Crawl with 10 Merkins at each line run back on the return (X3)

Gather in the center for a Ab ring of fire, each PAX choses an Ab exercise and does 10 while everyone else holds the Lazy Boy position.

    NMS:

It has been a while sense YHC has taken the Q, as YHC is getting older hip and shoulder issues have made it tough to do any form of workout. I have decided that I have one more half marathon to run (August) then I will hang up my running shoes and just focus on bootcamps. If I didn’t have my brothers in F3 I don’t think I would pushed through some of the aches and pains that I have. Thanks for keeping me going. SYITG

  • Oh, the choices we make!!!! If you choose not to decide, you still have made a choice.

4 adventure ready PAX with so many choices had little to no time to put a lot of thought into what they really wanted to do. Dunkin was considered but Bullseye with pack headed off into the Gloom for a solo ruck, YHC had texted the group that Wednesday was going to be an 8-10 mile day so Doozy was left to a solo run, Don Draper and Heist moseyed off into the Gloom and got 5 in.

YHC was struggling with a strong head wind and even if it where only a 6 mile run I doubt a 45 minute return would have been possible. Choices were made not all were the best….

  • I’m not going to ask you to do this stupid stuff

Singer and YHC made it out of the gloom to arrive at River Run this A.M.

Last night YHC texted his run plan to the usual RR suspects with the added disclaimer “I’m not going to take the Q because I’m not going to ask you guys to do this stupid stuff”

YHC’s plan: Mosey to the track, 4 fast laps, 2 laps mosey with weighted vest, walk 1 lap. 3 fast laps, 2 laps mosey with weighted vest, walk 1 lap. 2 fast laps, 2 laps mosey with weighted vest, walk 1 lap. 1 fast lap, 1 lap mosey with weighted vest, walk 1 lap. BTTF

Singer’s plan: Mosey to the track 1 lap fast, 1 lap mosey Repeto 4 miles total

YHC took longer than 45 minutes so there was no Ball O Man

  • Mutiny at WTH

3 regulars and an outsider gathered for an SOJ takeover in what had to be the coldest morning this year. YHC left SOJ late and was coming in hot when he realized he left his stocking cap and warm gloves at home. This is going to suck

Q’s plan is to head to the lake and circle that with some exercises until its time to return. Pig Skin says no, I’m heading to the parking deck to get out of the wind. Everyone else said, yep that’s what we are doing. Okay, adapt and overcome. YHC went with to the parking deck and made it up as we ran 3 times up the ramp levels dodging cars, exercises every other level.

BTTF, Numbers, Names Pig Skin took us out

    NMS:

It wasn’t pretty but we got 3 miles in 3.4 depending on who you ask and we left without injury

  • There’s Ice on the left of the hill

3 regulars in the cold with no real direction to go. YHC grabbed the open Q because there was a high probability that he would not attend the below freezing run after fartsacking the entire last week.

YHC needs to increase miles so Singer and Bullseye were sent of by JRHS and into River Downs to get in their usual 4 miler. YHC went to the park back by JRHS to the light at Robious & Winterfield, turn back roller coaster at Riverdowns BTTF for 6 miles

YHC was a touch late getting back to the flag but the boys where still there waiting for me YHC took us out

NMS: Passes Singer and Bullseye, they where coming out of RiverDowns as YHC was going in when Bullseye warned me about the ice on the hill half way up but YHC had headphones on and didn’t quite understand what he was saying until said ice patch was encountered. Luckily no one was injured in the running of the hill today.
