Eight regulars and one FNG showed up on a warm Saturday morning. It was 70°F at the start and sunny by the end—close enough to call it the elusive 70 and sunny, just not at the same time. After a warm-up, we hit the football field for a cumulative Beast. We started with Hand-Release Merkins and added a new exercise each round: LBCs, Jump Squats, Crab Cakes, Heels-to-Heavens, and finally, Burpees. Six rounds, six stops, six reps per stop. Beastly effort all around. Welcome to our FNG (Stirrup from now on)—glad to have you out there grinding with us. Great work, everyone!

Eagles Hill
Six showed up on a crisp Friday morning for a mix of running and walking. Half the group took on the hills and cul-de-sacs of Glen Eagles Dr., logging about 4.5 miles. The rest enjoyed a solid 3-mile walk at a brisk pace. Spirits were high all around.
Thanks to everyone who made it out—and as always, apologies for the delayed backblast!

Spring Loops at Goose Lake
Seven showed up on a beautiful spring morning, ready to put in some work. After a quick warm-up, we ran to Goose Lake and did loops around the water. At the end of each loop, we did 20 Dips, 20 Heels to Heaven, and 20 Jump Squats. Rinse and repeat. By the end, we covered about 3.5 miles. Strong effort all around—great job, fellas!

WTH Milestone Morning
A record-breaking (possibly all-time high) nine posted this morning for a mix of running and bootcamp. Big shoutout to Fudd for making his WTH debut! We ran toward the end of Three Chopt Road, near the retirement community (about a mile and change away). Once there, we knocked out a warm-up before diving into two Triple Checks: LBCs, American Hammers, and a run; Heels to Heaven, Squats, and a run. After that, the faster PAX cranked out 20 burpees while the slower group made their way back to the flag—balancing the clock. Awesome turnout!

Short Pump Park
Eight chose the gloom over the warmth of an extra hour in bed. We split into groups based on speed, soreness, and levels of sickness and took off toward Short Pump Park. A straight shot—up and down—making it hard to get lost (but no guarantees). Mileage ranged from 4 to 4.5, depending on pace and how much you trust your GPS. Solid effort all around! Appreciate everyone showing up, and for those recovering—heal up and get back out there soon!

Warm cul de sacs
It was a welcome change in the weather, about 20 degrees warmer than Monday, and seven of us showed up eager to make the most of it. We kicked things off by moseying to the first cul-de-sac to get warmed up. From there, we ran our usual series of cul-de-sacs, stopping at each one to perform 20 Merkins and 40 LBCs. All told, we covered about 3.5 miles, with the warmer temperatures providing a nice boost to our spirits.
A few announcements were shared afterward. Pigskin is organizing the usual lunch on the second Tuesday of the month. Gypsy inviting people on March 22 to his farm promising a solid opportunity for some good fellowship and fun. We closed out in the Circle of Trust by offering words of encouragement and lifting up our intentions for the day and the week ahead. Great work from everyone; it’s always better together.

Cul-de-sacs at 21
On a crisp, dark morning with the temperature at a brisk 21°F, four dedicated PAX gathered for a mix of running and bootcamp. The workout featured cul-de-sacs, where we hit each stop with 15 Hand Release Merkins and 25 Crunchy Frogs. By the end of the workout, we had covered 3.5 miles.
A special shoutout to Mr. Rogers, who joined us fresh off the beaches of Hawaii, where the weather was a balmy 80°F. Adjusting to our chilly conditions isn’t easy, but he crushed it nonetheless. Great work, everyone!

Christmas Morning Charge-Up
On a crisp 30-degree Christmas morning, three regulars gathered to start the day before diving into the festivities. The workout consisted of four loops around the lake, alternating directions with each lap. At the end of each loop, we stopped for 15 Step-Ups, 25 Dips, and 25 Crunchy Frogs. Surprisingly, not a single dog walker crossed our path—perhaps all the pups were enjoying a holiday sleep-in. By the end of the session, we had logged 3.5 miles.
Merry Christmas to all!

Make me sweat
As the morning temperature plummeted from a balmy 50°F to a brisk 33°F, four dedicated regulars gathered to enjoy a travel-free Thanksgiving workout. On the way to the AO, the last song I caught on the radio was “Make Me Sweat.” It got me thinking: would it even be possible to sweat in these freezing conditions? Turns out, it definitely was! The main event consisted of four loops around the lake, switching directions after each lap. Between laps, we knocked out 20 Derkins, 20 Dips, and 20 Crunchy Frogs. Pigskin’s recovery is very impressive—so much so that we thought he might be sneaking in extra mileage by running laps in the opposite direction. We wrapped up with a few minutes of abs.
Safe travels to all, and may your Thanksgiving be full of gratitude, good food, and great company!

Cul-de-sacs
Seven gathered this morning for a mix of running and boot camp. As usual, Pigskin stayed back to loop around the school, but this time he had Attila joining him for some company. Meanwhile, the rest of us hit the cul-de-sacs, cranking out 15 Hand-Release Merkins and 30 Freddies at every stop. Ended up covering 3.8 miles.
If the rumor mill is correct, this was Attila’s first time at WTH. And we might have convinced Gaudi to step up for his VQ next time. Good work by all!
