  • Bone Thug’s Scoob Movie Review:

Daphne is still hawt. ‘Nuff said. Four stallions posted at ET for some breakfast this morning — it was a second course for Swirly and Hardywood who had moseyed over the river for some early extra credit. Heres how it went:

Mosey down Cary to Meadow; dodge the car full of college girls honking and catcalling at Swirly and Hardywood; right on Meadow to Swan Lake and past the Vita Course to the flag.

    Enjoy the Wojo Dogpile Q.

Swirly and Hardywood mosey back across the Nickel Bridge, YHC and Bone Thug mosey back to ET.

NMMS: Tclaps to Bone Thug who is straight up crushing it with consistency and sustained effort. Like a freakin Timex, he just keeps on ticking. Have a great weekend, gents!

  • Who is the Q?

Warm up as normal as it looked to be a slow easy morning as all PAX seemed a little tired and beat from the week.  Little did I know or them that we had a little beat down in store for us!  Traveled the New Market unknown rock walking trail to both ends doing little work at each end.  Once I realized this little trail reminded me of the horseshoe we knew it had to happen!

    The thing:

Horseshoe back and forth on the long path 4 total times

1st – 10 merkins and 1 burpee on other end

2nd – 15 WWII and 2 burpee on other end

3rd – 20 Squats and 3 burpee on other end

    Ending with 4 brupees.

To wrap up the remaining time we explored the neighborhood and hit almost every man hole along with burpees at any yard with sprinkler system on.

Great to lead this AM and strong work to all.  Have great day and enjoy these warm temps….heat is coming soon!

T-claps to the reminder that YHC has A few Qs this week (and thanks to GP for handling Monday) . YHC has sure been thrown off the last few weeks after being away. Prayers for DTH and his family as well as those named and unnamed this morning. We all have battles in various forms these last few months. We ask that the Good Lord continue to bless these men, their families and help us lean into the understanding.

Show yourself what you can do today.

Stay safe and see y’all tomorrow at Dog Pile.

    NMS

With only 2 PAX members showing up for the opening of Phase 1 in Hanover, mumblechatter was high. Conversations ranged from Phase 1 for Hanover, not Richmond, the possibility of College Football in the Spring of 2021, other sports without fans, Qing a virtual AO, and the Merkin Challenge including Spike’s unbelievable pace in the challenge. (Congrats Spike for passing 5,000 on May 13!)

What will be remembered from today’s beatdown is was “Phonics goes down, Phonics goes down.” During the mosey, YHC was talking. All of a sudden, leg goes at least 12 inches into a hole which was mostly covered by grass. The pace changed to a walk after this occurred. In addition to running, YHC is known for falling while running which has happened at Sunday Funday, RAMM, and now The Creek.

    Announcements:

Spit Takeover Week begins tomorrow at Da-Pile. This includes the return of Green Acres (sort of). Meet at Pole Green Park at 7 AM on Sunday for a Bro-Code run. Should last around an hour.

Hanover Memorial Day – Meet at 7 AM at Hanover Wayside Park off 301.

Total Merkin Count for the Day – 285

    Gotta Run!

Great work today, fellas. YHC asked Hitchhiker how many days in a row he’s been working out. Basically, forever. YHC continues to be impressed. Well done.

Joke of the Day (From YHC’s 14 year old): “I bought a chicken and an egg on Amazon today. I’ll keep you posted on what happens.”
