    • YHC took us out in Prayer

    NMS:

    • Now THAT was fun! YHC’s great white Silverado is getting some TLC in the shop (hence a scarcity on Caber fun recently), but the M’s 4-Runner worked just fine for hauling 4 score Mother Earth Shakeweights! Where’s Hardywood when you need him?! I was all ready to do provocative Shakeweight Dance for him… Favorite moment of the morning is catching Draper in the act of using his manhood to hold the bricks during a little AlGore-Brick-orama. “His penis has arms!” …?… Next time YHC is gonna have to come up with a “Aint got no thumbs” exercise (same idea as Lt Dans), since holding bricks for 45min apparently is a major thumb muscle burn. Thx to Doozie for being YHC’s timekeeper for the AM. Appreciate all you guys coming out in the warm rain to join me in this madness we live so much. SYITG!
  • Garbage plate is a Gentleman

3 pax defied the weather to take on Punisher: one regular, one semi- regular, and one Punisher Virgin stamping his Winter Tour card. No Q in sight so we set out to give GP a tour:

Cop- SSH, Don Q, imperial walkers, Merkins, flutter kicks.

Over to side wall- 3 sets of 30 Donkey kicks and run to sidewalk 10 Merkins.

Dial up did- block spaces – 10 lunges, 10 Squats, 10 Merkins. Repeato 6 sets. GP- triple check over at Gazebo: bench kicks, Shoulder Taps, run. HD- back to rubber top- 3 sets of 20 WWII & 8 Pull-ups.

Dial-up – lunges around planter boxes. GP- 3 sets of Burpees at soccer goals- 10 for 1st round, down to 5 for sets 2&3.

HD- Curb crawls then back to front of school for dry spot Mary quick audible on APDs as teachers leave to more respectful Flutter kicks. Back to flag.

NMS -YHC was worried he would be solo with Chum out and other on Punisher text chain but Garbage Plate arrived at 5:55 and Dial-up emerged from the rain at 5:58. Good times keeping Hot Potato moving.

We all laughed as we started APDs in the dry cover at the school front but a teacher walked out the front and Garbage Plate immediately transitioned us to a less obtrusive exercise to keep us in the LHES good graces.

  • The Bush is Deep; Watch your Step

8 PAX and 3 dogs started their work-week off with some miles through Tarrington, up the glorious Ashwell hill and through the BUSH and down TwinTeam. It was another glorious morning for a run.

Rosie was possessed this morning and left the pack before the end of the first mile. He took and extended detour into Powderham and then caught up to YHC, Honeymoon and P.O.G. for the finish down Twin Team and around the high school. Way to work, Rosie.

Honeymoon (and Annie), P.O.G. and YHC had a strong pace going, including up the long hill – not the nice Monday Mosey as would have been nice after yesterday’s 8-miler. Annie was having none of that. Way to put in the work fellas.

Limehouse logged an extra mile or so with a run to the AO and he and Doublemint cruised into the finish looking strong.

Great to see Wedding Singer out logging some miles. And, OC (and his two dogs) did their thing. Way to get out and work through that plantar faciitis, OC.

Great morning guys. Thanks for Posting.

COT, Number-rama, Name-a-Rama and YHC took us out.

    Announcements:

    • Poker at OC’s house 2/22 – see him or the pre-blast for details
    • Lots of guys working through nagging injuries. Good reminder from OC to get a stretch in ever now and again and remember to recuperate and take care of the body!

    No More Gumbo For You!

  • A fantastic moon this morning OTB

8 men and 2 dogs posted in total for a variety of routes.

1 man (‘Duke) launched early and went 7+ to Timberwolf and back.

1 man (Aisle 5 (aka Dark Walker)) walked solo and returned unharmed.

1 man (Oyster) forgot that us boys SOJ have to get up early to feed the chickens and get our days started and arrived at 0655 to find Marmaduke finishing up (nope, not getting extra credit….DAMN!) and set off to get his miles in and check off OTB for the Winter Tour.

The last 5 men and 2 dogs (Offshore and Sally, Honeymoon and Annie, P.O.G., Rosie and Gumbo) launched on time (ok, 1 minute late so Offshore could latch the leash on Sally) and conquered 8 miles with a beautiful moon lighting our way until the sun rose and illuminated Salisbury Lake on our return.

Great morning men. Thanks for posting.

    No More Gumbo For You

  • Blueberry Breakfast for Noobs

    The THANG:

    • DRAPER took us out in Prayer

    NMS:

    • YHC volunteered to write up the Backblast to cap off our Corporate Challenge week. Draper admirably led the charge this morning, not only bringing an awesome FNG (Hospital name Chris Buckley), but also popping DTH’s F3-Mtn-Bike cherry. YHC will be back! YHC also thanks Flange for the use of his spare bike (and the carpool to & from – great times catching up bro!), and thanks to DD for lending a helmet. Today’s FNG has been a headlock project of Draper’s for a while now, but the man REALLY enjoyed this morning’s F1/F2 so looks like we’ll be seeing more of him. His nickname is derived from his hobby of building & racing Lemon cars. Thanks again for leading us Draper – great Q bro!
