4 HIM took the challenge of posting for a House Party Q with little to no running involved. 70 and sunny conditions as usual. Here’s what went down.
Slow mosey around the parking lot and circle up for warmarama which consisted of arm circles, helicopters, dead man hang, merkins and WWII’s.
COP 1 – 4 corners, prostitute style but instead of repeating the exercise on the way back, we did 3 burpees. Exercieses were 10 hand release merkins, 20 flutter kicks, 30 monkey humpers, and 40 SSH’s.
COP 2 – Quadruple check with bicep curls, shoulder press, bent over rows. “Runner” does 100 toe taps.
COP 3 – Various exercises with little to no break in between sets to keep that heart rate up. Exercises included Opus, Hoe Downs, Toe Taps, WWII’s and merkins
BTTF with less than a minute to spare – 5 burpees to close out
Names, Numbers, YHC took us out.
Wasn’t exactly sure what to do since running wasn’t going to be an option for YHC but it turned out to be challenging. Great work by all the Pax! Thanks for letting me lead fellas!
YHC heard the F3 RVA satellite office known as The Clinic was located somewhere in the sunshine state. After five days and 25mi rucked along the redneck riviera, still no sign of any glowing neon calling YHC home. Still a couple more days and miles under load to go. Will report back.
4, no 5, gentlemen of the gloom staggered in for 45 MOM. After processing Gumbo’s relief that he was not abandoned as a lone wolf today, we commenced our beatdown at 531. Here’s what happened:
COP on the blacktop: Deadman hang / helicopters / DQs / Imperial Walkers / Ukranian Soldiers / Copperhead Squats / APDs / LBCs. Mosey to edge of blacktop.
Descending Jacob’s Ladder: Starting at 100 reps, the Q calls an excercise and a mode of transportation across the blacktop. Modes of transport included a mosey, karaoke, Bernie Sanders, High Knees, Lunges, Broad Jumps, and Sprint. Excercises as follows: 100 SSHs / 90 2 count Mtn Climbers / 80 LBCs / 70 Carolina Dry Docks / 60 2 count American Hammers / 50 Squats / 40 Merkins / 30 WW2s/ 20 Jump Squats / 10 Burpees. Numberama, Namerama, YHC took us out.
NMS: Small but great group today. Fargo has made it out twice this week so far, but he’s still working on arrival time ;). Live a story today that is bigger than your own comfort and success!
1 HIM turned Into Bristlecone Blvd anticipating the view of tail/headlights in the PFP parking lot since YHC rang out a “ruck tomorrow” announcement over the #newkent channel last night. Beaver really did not want any part of getting out of the fart sack this morning, but I can’t post an OTB ruck and not show up for the men. Getting up and to an AO truly is half the battle, so since I’m here why throw in the towel now? Since I’ve got some extra time this morning let’s give it some extra effort and take her 5 miles for the men who couldn’t be here.
14 grown boys came out to Timberwolf this morning to play some Ultimate! Initially YHC thought we had 13 but Matlock emerged from the shadows like a ninja and suddenly appeared while we stretched.
Moseyed down to the track to stretch. Gabe the mission and got right into it. Full length of the field and end zones were the full width of the field this time around.
Team 1: Warby, Mudslide, Tzatziki, Fly Boy, Wildcat, Woodsman, The Duke
Team 2: Crabgrass, Fandango, Festivus, Cookie, Matlock, Bru, Rudy
Team 1 executed their playbook to perfection (think Patriots dink and dunk offense in the early 2000’s) and were able to pick apart Team 2 at will. Frustrating to defend but VERY effective. Team 2 showed some flashes of brilliance but struggled to get back on defense which led to their defeat. YHC will of course own the L.
Team 1: 5 scores
Team2: 2 scores

PRAYERS/WINS
YHC’s son graduates preschool today! Huge pay raise. Proud of you, Maddox.
May 21st 2016 marked YHC first ever F3 Post and in this very rainy Wednesday morning we celebrate KB Style
3 Davillians arrived at WHES main parking lot when YHC called an audible to park in the bus loop to be closer to the drop off canopies. We arrived, quickly grabbed our Bells and got to work under the canopies
Despite rainy conditions, 3 HIMs weren’t afraid of melting and showed up to The Green Mile. With multiple spots with overhangs, the PAX stayed fairly dry through the Hot Potato workout. According to Dumar’s dreams (no sign of life/lights at the home front according to Hermey when arrived to pick him up) this is how it went down:
Futon Q – Warm up with mosey to the covered area on the side of the school. Deadman hang, helicopters, SSH, Ukranian Soldiers, Merkins, Knee to Chest, Roscoe’s Mom.
COP 1: P1 holds balls to the wall, P2 holds wall sit, P3 performs called exercise and quantity rotating through. Exercises were 50 merkins, 75 freddie mercurys, 100 monkey humpers. Mosey up the winding path to the top and back down to covered area. Turned it over to Nancy Lopez
Nancy Lopez Q – COP 2: Various called exercises of quantities ranging from 25-75 and 1-minute holds. Wall sits, planks, merkins, squats, carolina dry docks, LBCs and other some random things that I can’t recall. Mosey down around the basketball court and back to the covered area to turn it over to Hermey.
Hermey Q – COP 3: Mosey to the playground for Rudy’s playground. 2 PAX plank walk around the edge while 3rd PAX performs 10 pull ups. Completed x 2 and then moseyed back to the covered area for some Dojo Dan. Finished with a triple check of carolina dry docks, WW2 and runner to the fire hydrant.
Mosey back to the flag for numbers, names and COT. Ultimate Frisbee at Timberwolf tomorrow, Breaking Bread looking for a taker on Saturday. No specific prayers, just feeling blessed to be out there this morning and appreciate the push by one another. Thanks for showing up fellas!
4 brave HIMs came out to play in the rain this morning. Had we known there was vandalism running amuck in Pountrey, we may have hit the streets earlier! According to Rudy’s Ring camera, here’s what took place…
Went down Bellstone Ct to check in on some of our compadres, but lights were off. Loop down to the reservoir and back up past McGruffs to the burnt down gas station and through the rolling hills. Good pace today, rain held off for the most part, and we’re better men for being out there!
Lots of good chatter. Fandango wanted to hijack an amazon car for fun, Toby has many HR violations to log at work today (unless he truly is CIA), Flyboy got realllllly excited when someone mentioned vortex ring state, and YHC asked is anyone was watching Last of Us.
12 HIMs emerged from the gloom for a glorious OTB beatdown! I’m kidding, just YHC here showed up and boy was it a wet one this morning! Soaked from head to toe as I got in a couple miles of running with the F3 card deck in hand, stopping at every sign or post to draw an exercise. Today I learned there’s a Queen of Burpees and the deck just kept giving me every possible merkin exercise known to the F3 Nation!
If you’re not burning em, you’re not earning em. -Beaver
