Lets keep it simple, Run 1 mile, 20 Merkins, 20 WW2s, run another mile repeat Merkins and WW2s, head back to flag, stop each mile. because 100 is better we added the last set at finish. 4 miles completed and 100 Merkins, 100 WW2s. Whitesnake has been out with back issues and unfortunately after this workout had to take some more R&R.

Creatine, Health, and Longevity!
10 RocknRollers made it out to Rockwood Park for another installment of Rock and Roll. It was certainly interesting and we may have something to look forward to next week. Here’s what went down in this morning’s throw down.
We started out with your typical warmup in the basketball court.
SSH IC
Imperial walkers IC
Don Quyotes IC
In and outs (Scrunchy frogs for Rosie) IC
LBCs IC
5 Merkins
We moseyed over to the far inner parking lot of the park for Four corners
20 merkins, 40 squats, 60 LBCs, 80 double count Mountain climbers.
Next we moseyed over to the baseball field for Chaplain’s Indigenous polesmokers around the outfield. The traveler would bear crawl to the front. Once we made it to center field we switched to American Hammers and crab walking. Dr. Try Hard saw an older man walking on the other side of the fence walking about the same pace as his crab walk. DTH said something along the lines of “you think you can walk as fast as my crab walk old man!” To which the man responded “I can do all that stuff you guys are doing, I’m 72 years old and I studied Health and Longevity! You boys better have taken your CREATINE!” They banterred back and forth for a few minutes and got a bit fired up before the guy (We decided to call him Creatine) moved on and we got to foul territory.
We lined up on the foul line for A Dora
Teams of 2 complete an exercise and run to center field and back
30 burpees
60 Plank jacks
90 squats
120 SSH
As Creatine came around again DTH suggested some Monkey Humpers. YHC obliged.
Next Mankillers from 10 to 1 once YHC messed up the counting about 5 times.
We moseyed over to the hill near the concession stand for another Dora
Traveler Bernies up the hill and bear crawls down
50 Merkins
100 Mountain climbers
100 WW2s
150 ball dippers double count
Time to mosey back to the flag. With some Bernie Sanders and some side shuffles.
Circle up for numbers, names, prayer requests, and announcements. Lots of announcements, be sure to keep up with them on Slack.
We also welcomed an FNG. Welcome to Mayhem! Looking forward to seeing everyone again soon!
I heard that DTH talked to Creatine on his way out of the park and he might be joining us next week. That should be interesting!

Bash Brothers strike again!
A band of 14 showed up to dominate for this weeks episode of Dogpile. Co-Q’s EF Hutton and Handshake split the duties. Hutton led off.
EF Hutton – starting with a COP in the circle. Next up mosey to the Amphitheater and start at the top with (3) Derkins, (3) Merkins, (3) Incline Merkins on each step x 18 steps (Hutton isn’t good at math). Next mosey to the Rusty Cage and partner up. P1 runs to the Hydrant and does (5) WWII’s while P2 starts the 50 Burp-Ups. Luckily Hutton audibled to 30 after his partner was only at 6 after the first run. Round 2 was 150 Dips and round 3 was 250 Monkey Humpers.
Flip the Q to Handshake. Mosey out of the back of the Rusty Cage and down to the Pipe Loop. Partner up to groups of 3 or 4. P1 runs the loops, P2 HRM’s, P3 WWII’s. Mosey to the bottom of Love Hill for an Indigenous Peoples Run up the hill. Stop at the grass clearing just up from the Dog Park and do an “all you got” sprint back to the flag. 1 minute of Mary to finish.
Announcements – Worby has his VQ at The Alamo on Monday.
Prayer requests – pray for the Moms this Mother’s Day. Also, Fergie’s brother had surgery for Cancer this week. Surgery went well and prayers for recovery and other continuing medical needs.
NMS – Bootleg had signed up for the Q but he let YHC and Hutton take it. Great day to be with the guys and welcome to FNG Altar Boy, who is Faceplants close friend/sons Godfather who lives in Annapolis.

Daylight Means Dirt Trail
Big Rig and YHC linked up for a Ruck that took us down into the dirt trails that go by Gregory Pond since it was light enough to avoid the roots tripping hazzard. Chaplain and Rosie went for a run around parts unknown. Enjoyed catching up with Big Rig before his beatdown ??

Welcome to Spotify. Apparently when Gomer asks an 18 year-old the first album bought, he looks at you like you have a hole in your head. Great to have Lighthouse back today, and it is always good to have Gypsy talking incessantly as if he were a 14 year old girl.
Convergence is coming on Monday, May 29th at Tredegar. The PAX gets started at 7 am.
Celebrate the moms in your life tomorrow. God is good all of the time!

My cup is full and my tank is empty
With no Q on deck, YHC took the torch and planned the route. YHC was introduced to this route by Oyster and YHC has wanted to do it again for a while now – so perfect opportunity. The route is simple head down Grove, take a left on Three Chopt, then an immediate right and run down to the end of the cul-de-sac and back. I think the PAX was a little worried at first given YHC’s directional challenges however everyone made it back and no one got lost. For the 6s you have to do a bit extra, for everyone else it was out and back.
The mumble chatter was very welcomed for the 4/5ish group – very entertaining mix of conversation covering everything from the demands of church leadership to PG-13 jokes about potatoes (ask Saab for the joke). No word on the 6s mumble chatter, likely they were just huffing and puffing because they were so fast.
Announcements
- Don’t forget to check signup for Breaking Bread – there are openings.
- Check Slack for summer tour rules
- Shotgun shared with us his positive sentencing news
YHC took us out, thank you for the opportunity to lead this morning – you all fill my cup every morning! Great Run

Tour De Twin Team with your Host, Gumbo
11 intrepid dwellers of the GLOOM, including 1 FNG and 1 Downrange Double RESPECTer posted in the beautiful Gloom of BWES this morning. Even Don Draper and Boberry donned gloves for a bootcamp because YHC promised some miles. As the clock struck 0530, the tour began and off to the namesake we go…
Mosey across Robious to the base of Twin Team and circle up for the disclaimer and COP, including DQs performed at the impeccable speed.
We were all limbered up so time to climb – mosey up Twin Team to the top stopping at each drive way (and any offset mailboxes) for 10 merkins each. YHC thought that would lessen the pain of the climb but it only added to it…oh well, what doesn’t kill you…
Collected the SIX at the top and moseyed down and continued down the pathway to the back entrance to JRHS and over to the “murph” area for a triple check including pull-ups, squats and a choose-your-own-timer of run a lap OR 20 WWIIs. The Tour can’t be late, so an audible was called and the triple check was truncated…
Mosey down past the SWAMP and stop for a quick couple minutes of rapid fire Mary, then over to the outdoor basketball courts for some Donkey Kicks on the wall.
BBTVF via the parking lot and across BWES field. 30 seconds left so 2 Burpees to get your money’s worth.
COT, Numbers, Names and YHC prayed us out.
NMS:
Great to have 4 folks who have never been to TT before, including an FNG (Chubbs bro) and a down-ranger from St. Charles Missouri (THE CHUCK). Other than the climb up TT, not a ball-buster today but we kept moving and we got to show off most of the AO. Gumbo will provide another 3.3 mile tour that was planned another time soon.
Happy Hour SOJ tonight at Diamond Billiards
SOJ Takeover coming soon to AOs all over
May 21 is a family BBQ at BWES – see OC for more details
Summer Tour details and conditions are on Slack – see HoneyDo if you got questions
A pleasure as always to lead. No More Gumbo For You!

Two Warriors on a 61 Degree Low Humidity Morning
Two guys posted on a beautiful Friday morning. In my mind, it was the nicest of the year so far.
Started off with a lap around the parking lot followed by some warmup exercises and stretching.
Started off with 4 corners of the parking lot (10-20-30-20-10) LBC’s, Monkey Humpers, Merkins and Calf Raises.
11’s with Bear or Crab Walks between – Heals to Heaven and WWII Situps
We teamed up for 100 – 200 – 300 of Calf Raises, Helix Squats, LBC’s. One member ran a lap while the other exercised. We only got through calf raises before we were out of time.
Numberama, Namarama a couple quick words and we were out. Lots of talk about everything in the world. If Bulkhead ever wants to run for office, I’d vote for him.
Have a great weekend everyone and thanks for posting Bulkhead.
