  • Table Tennis Day

19 Warriors emerged from their nice warm beds and ventured onto the University of Richmond for a Tuesday morning run. Weather was as nice as its going to be for this time of year in RVA.

The route was one we haven’t done for a couple of years. From the lake run up to the main entrance, take a right onto campus and run up to Three Chopt. Back down to the main entrance, over to Boatright Drive and up to the top of the hill to Three Chopt Again. Repeat this loop as many times as possible. Each segment of the route is just about 1 mile.

    NMM

Lots of mixed feedback on this route. I like it because you get to see all the other runners along the way as people make their way back and forth ton the hills. It is a hilly route and you get little flat running at all. Some like that, some do not. Faceplant loved the route as the directions are really simple and we have run these roads many times. No opportunity to get lost.

    TYA out

  • 5 for all!

5 gloom warriors posted for Satan’s hill with only YHC supporting the NM crew. YHC was excited to see Rosetta and even more excited to see many at the bottom the bottom of the hill but alas the runners had descended on SH for run and were not in the mood for a beat down. With the clock striking 530 we were off. Never the less good to see SH with a strong 5 without any New MArketeers!!!

The Cul-de-sac tour was in order. A quick warmup with the usual exercises. Run up Otterdale to other entrance. Run each cup-de-sac and perform called exercise in sac and back at start befor mosey to next. Exercises were Merkins, and 6 others for the total 7 total sacs (5 double sacs so double the exercises). I honestly don’t remember all the exercises as the day is late and I am leaving for HHI in 6 hours. I do remember their was a lot of mumble chatter including a lot of the origins of F3 and putting sad clowns in EH’s to get them out. That and Florence and Rosco setting the pace, nice work fellas. McGruff and Vagabond its great to see you continue to post, you both have been valuable additions to the PAX.

Prayers to Florences Mom having surgery and friends baby struggling to find life. WE all prayer for her Baby Reah (forgive if I have name wrong). YHC took us out in prayer.

Not to get mushy but Vagabond shared what F3 has meant for him and the prompted Rosco to get a little warm and fuzzy as well as YHC. Fellas I cannot tell you how much I appreciate each and every one of you! Whether you know it or not we give each other strength. Keep working. Make today Awesome!

  • Cavalcade

Corned Beef and Hash came over to the west side from the wall this morning looking for a Friday run with Gomer Pyle’s help on the route we were able to get in some running for both paces. Light house and Hash ran at a faster pace and logged about 5.5 miles while the remaining pax ran 4.5 miles and as a special bonus (thank you GP) an additional .5 miles around the school to log in about 5 and 6 miles respectively. The 4.5 mile route is below, Hash and Lighthouse ran further down Pump then returned and caught up to the Pax to come into the school parking lot.

Lot’s of mumble chatter about everything under the sun, and great to visit this AO.

    See route below:

We also added .5 mile run around the school to this route.

Numberama, namerama, Handshake took us out in prayer this morning.

    Have a great day Gents…SYITG….Cheers…CB!

Numbers / Names YHC took us out

    NMS:

Great to see Blue Moon all the way down on the south side. YHC will be traveling out of state this week so I will miss seeing him at other south side AO’s but I’m sure the regular southies will take care of him, I’m sure. YHC did not realize until it was all over that Blue Moon hadn’t been to the name sake Twin Team or the routine might have went a little differently.

  • Multitasking

Nine posted for this week’s Punisher. Meet up in the Holton for a few minutes of conversation, then mosey to the nearby tall grass for Circle of Pain with 20 x Imaginary Jump Ropes, 15 x Don Quixotes, 15 x Imperial Walkers, 15 x Helicopters, 10 x Suzanne Somers (each side), 25 x Alabama Prom Dates, and 20 x Arm Circles (small only, forward and reverse), with three Burpees before each of the exercises.

Restart mosey across the front parking lot and into the grass near the front of the school for Deck of Death. Pick a card from the deck that will be the sole Burpee card, then bury that card back in the deck with the card that followed that card indicating the number of Burpees. Turn cards one at a time, completing reps as indicated by the number on that card, but with face cards representing 11 through 14 reps (Jack through Ace). Exercises: Diamonds – Merkins, Hearts – Side Straddle Hops, Clubs – Squats, and Spades – Reverse Crunches. Kept the Jokers in the deck and took a lap of the lot when these were turned.

Find the nearby school wall and divide into three groups for a Triple Check. One guy holds People’s Chair, the second guy holds an Elbow Plank, and the third guy runs to Laburnum Avenue and back. Three rounds.

Finish at the wall with all holding People’s Chair – with a few PAX members taking turns counting while we hold basic Chair, Chair with right leg up, and Chair with left leg up.

Move to the grass for a Ring of Fire, then flip over for a few minutes of stretching. Circle of Trust and YHC took us out.

Welcome FNGs Smokey and Plea Bargain who found out about F3 and found their way to the workout – both live in the neighborhood adjacent to LHES. Hope you keep coming back.

  • Just two guys out for a walk

2 Davillains decided to slow thing down today and went for a walk intend of a run. Got in about 2 miles which exploring the newer townhomes of Rutland looking for the cut through to get across the railroad track. Couldn’t find so we will have to ask Spike about that one.

Will on the walk Corned Beef and YHC solved all the issues of fatherhood so you are welcome

    SPIT ON THAT!!

HBD to White Deer!   He is loud, obnoxious and vulgar, but there is not a more faithful friend.  If you ever need something, there is not a more generous and dependable member of the PAX.  Do not let the farts and Viagra jokes fool you.  Double respect has been earned.  Great turnout to celebrate a PAX legend.  HBD brother!  If you missed him today, come to Gridiron on Saturday for a birthday encore.  If you late, no worries, we will still be within a 25 yard radius of the parking lot.

Home run derby at HBR on Tuesday.  Come to Tuckahoe Little League, not Quioccasin Middle.

God is good all of the time!

    Attila

The inspiration to bring the PAX over to YHC’s house came after the Snuff clown car yesterday, but in true Summer Tour style, Snuff chose Timberwolf this AM and missed the field trip. Your loss bro! JK, we’ll return to that massive hill again sometime soon. Thx for sharing the morning with me gents! SYITG, YHC, DTH

    Moleskin

YHC appreciates everyone putting up with Shark week, and as it appears, Bleeder can’t run from here to there without collapsing, (please use your best Col. Nathan R Jessup voice when reading that line) YHC is glad the bike is still a viable option for moving at HROS ( High Rate of Speed)

Being able to Q a unique event that’s almost mini-CSAUP is always fun, although, like a good shark attack, you never know when they will strike, but being able to read the signs is helpful. Gee, Bleeder’s signed up to Q at the end of July or beginning of August has become the leading indicator. Happy to be able to report that we did catch a few folks unaware of the events that would unfold in the gloom this AM.

Glad to see Viral back in action this morning!
