There was no cop car arrival on this school yard adventure. YC went on a solo mission to get some walking in and plug into a podcast. Burpees were thought of but they remained a thought. Looking forward to a Lumberyard brosesh in the morning.

Faceplant Was Supposed to Do It
Five of us were there. Two walkers, one thought he was solo until two more showed up. Walkers tried to get lost in Windsor Farms, runners did something easy (directions wise).
Faceplant apparently owes Bodos another backblast from somewhere…
Coffeteria at Libbie Market was excellent as usual.

A Duel, of sorts
Four runners and two cyclists gathered for today’s Q-less edition of RAMM. After TYA and Marv agreed upon their lunch plans and invited half the PAX (don’t worry, YHC couldn’t make it anyway đ), YHC and Marv debated on the best route of the day. Neither were new and the PAX determined that Snake River hadn’t been forged in a while. So off we went for Snake River.
The Route
- West on Grove to south on Granite
- Cross to Kennondale / Tempsford
- 5s 2 lefts and 1 right
- 6s 2 lefts and 2 right
- Back the way we came
Numbers, names, discussion of college football before YHC took us out.
Moleskine
YHC has been getting into crossword puzzles again over the holidays, hence the backblast title.
Great to have a running partner with Offshore as the attempt to keep up with Marv and Sippy only lasted a couple hundred meters.
Always great to start the new year off with a solid run. Let’s get those RAMM numbers back up next week!

ï»żYHC took us out in prayer for miraculous healing and for a safe and healthy 2026.
Fun Fact: Whitesnake not only has a band and cooks up themed Qs in his free time, he also started a Podcast, Spiders Sound Off, with a buddy. They discuss U of R’s men and womenâs basketball. They even have a theme song. He’ll sing it for you if requested. What canât this man do?!?
100% attendance at Coffeeteria at Dunkin. Lots of good mumble chatter aaaaand it was free donut day. Not a bad start to the day.
Have a great Friday fellas!

Better Late
Seeing a few solo BBs reminded me to post this one. MOT – Christmas Eve. While the boot campers did their SOT thing, YHC worked his way through a handful of miles around Midlothian with nothing but my thoughts on Christmas and end of year preparation.
Good thing I harassed the Q to get this BB posted.

Blocks at Sharknado
One final down range post during the break at AO – Sharknado in Murrells Inlet. 2 F3 Grandstrand PAX and YHC did block work to bring in 2026. 11s with swings and blockees and 2 block farmers carry between. Ended with a few random block exercises like curls, skull crushers and OH press. Coffee after. Great to chat and get to know a could have the guys Iâve posted with this week. Feeling blessed in this new year and looking forward to getting back home to sleep in my own bed!

The 2026 Lounge is Open
8 Twin Team regulars gathered for the first Lounge of the year! No DK or coffee in sight, but we had to soldier on. The following is a brief summary for your viewing pleasure:
Started with an indigenous people’s warm-up run: Man in the back does 5 Helicopters, then runs to the front. Switched up to Helicopters, and BOC’s as we made our way to the tennis court.
Exercise One: 4 Corners (prostitute style) – all Abs edition
10 WWII Sit-ups, 20 American Hammers, 30 LBC’s, 40 Flutter Kicks.
Mosey over the bridge to the parking lot for Exercise Two: Mega Man Killers
Usual Man Killer pattern, but run in between each set. The PAX alternated doing the count, with YHC heroically volunteering for “one.”
Run around the back side of the complex to BWES for Exercise Three:
Wall Work.
Hoedowns, Dirty Hookups, Hip Slappers or Chicken Peckers, run down the hill and back. – Two sets.
Donkey Kicks, Jumping Wall Slaps, Wallabama Prom Dates, run down the hill and back – Two set.
Back to the Flag with a minute of Monkey Humpers before time is called.
COT and YHC took us out
Final Thoughts: Excellent work by the PAX this morning! The Lounge Review Board was monitoring my every move – but we made it through. Doozy also got his pull up in! Great to see my man RC back out. Mega Man Killers were actually easier than regular Man Killers – go figure.

That’s not a good idea.
Five posted to Pearson’s Corner Elementary School on this perfect Friday for a bootcamp that can end the week correctly. Since there was a Florida visitor, YHC took the Q and off they went.
COP all IC: SSH, Helicopters, Arm Circles, Reverso, Don Quixotes, One legged lunges, other leg, Jazzersize, Hillbillies, Merkins, Angled Knee Jumps, Synchronized Mountain Climbers, LBCs, APDs, Heels to Heaven
The Thang
4 Corners (Each PAX member stands at corner of blacktop and does an exercise while 5th PAX member runs to next station. The exercises were Freddie Mercuries, Dips, Jump Squats, Skull Crushers and were all completed 5 times.)
Pull-up Hangs/Merkins – Because of limited pull-up space, the PAX was broken into 2 groups. One group did 15 second pull-up hangs while the other did Merkins. They then rotated until all PAX member had led the count twice. This total 6 rotations.
Toga Special – YHC remembered Toga leading this years ago. PAX gets in balls to wall posiiton. They then walk down the wall until they are in Plank position with feet still on wall. They then walk back up the wall to Ball to the Wall position, they then go back to Plank Position. This was done twice with the following exercises done at the conclusion.
- Round 1 – American Hammers and Flutterkicks
- Round 2 – Plank-O-Rama all in cadence (Carolina Dry Docks/Merkins, go to side plank with raising and lowering hip, go to back plank with raising and lowering butt, go to other side plank with raising and lowering hip.
COT: Numberarama, Name-O-Rama, Announcements, Opus took us out.
NMS:
Great to have Audit from F3 Pensacola visiting today. Rosie gave DaVille notice that he might be posting today. The Creek is not one of YHC’s normal posting locations, so there was a learning curve. Thank you Trout for letting YHC know his original plan for the Pull-up hangs was not a good idea. Trout realized there was a high probability of breaking the playground equipment which caused YHC to pivot to an alternate plan. Also, thank you Yardsale for bringing the mumblechatter and positive attitude again today.
YHC also must have been slightly tired today since he briefly forgot to include himself in the Name-O-Rama and also briefly forgot his new age.
Audit did ask the PAX at the COT about the “Cone Parade” in Richmond on New Year’s Day. YHC had heard about it on the news but have never seen it. Interesting how visitors see things in town that those who have lived here all of our lives have never seen. At least this is proof that it really occurs.
Announcements:
- Opus is doing a sugar fast for January. Let him know if you want to join him.
It was a honor to lead this morning. Well done all!
