  • Two Monday Turkeys

2 Davillians got their Turkey week with some miles. YHC started early from Rutland clubhouse and ran into Trout when he was about to head out of Atlee.

Trout quickly turned around and the two us ran through Honey Meadows, King Charter then cross over Atlee Station. Stayed on the right side of the road heading south back to Atlee HS.

Trout slow down his pace at Taylor Farms but got in 4ish.

YHC headed back to Rutland by way of the Bojangles route 6 miles

    SPIT ON THAT!!

  • NM runners club

9 strong challenged themselves to a bit of an Indian summer morning to start the week off right. YHC was happy to see quite the contingent making their way down the hill to the flag as I sped by on my bike. According to the white Tesla here is what happened.

Mosey to and fro in the lot. COP: 20 SSH’s, 10 each: DQ’s, Imperial walkers, cherry pickers dead man hang, Russian soldier, Merkins. (Some counts may have been 9 but sho’s counting? Obviously not YHC.

    The thang:

Mosey up Satan’s hill. 4 corners combined with a triple check. Group 1 do 50 merkins and 50 LBC’s, Group 2 50 LBC’s then run to next corner, group 3 run to next corner. PAX completes both exercises at each of the next 3 corners ending with finishing exercises at last corner. About to do a second lap when YHC confused the PAX and himself so audible was called. To the rock pile we moseyed. Triple check. 1. Triceps with rock, 2. Curls with rock, 3 run horseshoe to stop sign and back. 2nd triple check 1. Rock copters, 2 rock squats, 3 Bernie to top of lot and mosey back. Time was called. POG really pushed the PAX and namely YHC with his blazing speed.

Prayers to Aisle 5 and a quick recovery. Prayers to all those traveling.

Announcmeents: TYA thanksgiving celebration at Mary, Forest Hill loops on Black Friday. See preblasts.

Always an honor to lead. Good to have the runners club back in the mix.

  • Chain Smokers

3 Road Warriors made the trip from ET’s to DogPile, 4 made the trip back. Along the way Hitch told tales of his military days in which smoking was rewarded with a 10 minute break on the hour every hour. Non-smokers kept digging, naturally Hitch picked up smoking.

  • Is it tapering season?

4 studs graced the brisk cool morning for a cool down walk. Oddly no runners have been showing up. Must be tapering…………….

We decided to go a different way and saw some cool houses.

Prayers to Aisle 5, who is a consistent walker to heal up as we missed him out there!

Coffee and conversations were the highlight of the morning as usual.

    • YHC took us out in Prayer

    NMS:

    • YHC was honored to shield lock with so many studly HIM’s this morning. The PAX cowboy’d up with gusto for the hundred burpee opener – and we all said goodbye to our legs for the day. Then we smoked the shoulders at the rusty cage, and kept the burner on HIGH to bring the Carillon crumbing to the ground (Squerkins provided the usual humorous mumble chatter). A smattering of Mary between COP’s and a bit of decent Field work at the end sealed the deal on a full body smokefest. Solid work today gentlemen! SYITG, YHC, Dr Tryhard
  • Data Bump – RAMM

16 boys came to the yard at recess and went their own ways.

Choices – ride a bike, run a long ways, or run a shorter than long ways (reverse Carillon).

Pullout’s pullout game is still strong.

Good job men. Stay safe, prayers to Kubota on a swift recovery, and hope he didn’t get everyone sick at Saab’s birthday outing. We can all blame Saab right?

  • Cindy wreaks havoc

YHC rolled into Satan’s Hill with what he thought was 1 minute to spare. YHC found Wilson had already started COP! 4 SH faithful and a traveler from far away lands, Chaplain, had made the journey. According to the now silent frogs this is what went down.

COP- Wilson stated, YHC picked up with SSH, DQ’s, deadman hang, Arm circles, Helicopter, etc.

Mosey to top of Satan’s Hill. Big 4 corners with 20 merkins, 20 WWII’s, 20 plank jacks and 40 LBC’s.

Run to the Cinderblock pile aka Cindy pile. Do 15 flutters, 15 dollies, 15 Rosalita’s at each corner on way, 3 corners.

Triple check: Runner, Cindycurls, Cindy presses. Run back to flag repeato of an work on corners on way back. 2 minutes of plank rounded out the 45.

Prayers to Aisle 5 and recovery. YHC took us out in prayer. Good to have Chaplain join the NM crew today.

  • The Beast of Twin Team: Part Dos

5 history buffs or possibly 4 history buffs and a math major that accidentally found himself in a history class today arrived at BW to see what YHC could learn them.

Mossey to the top of Twin Team for C.O.P.

DQ’s, Helicopters, Dead Man Hangs, Cherry Pickers and Imperial Walkers

As the story picks up from our last adventure the landing team goes in search of the Beast of Twin Team. To do this they must make a stop at each one of their trail markers as per the map.

On our way down the hill our adventurers had to look high and low kind of like Burpee Squat Jumpers (X6 ea) back up the hill to the start

Our fearless team did not see the Beast but they got knocked down kind of like American Hammers (X6 ea) back up the hill to the start

While our hero’s where already down they decided to look closer to the ground kind of like a merkin (X6 ea) back up the hill to the start

After that it was time to get back up kind of like a No Hostages (X6 ea) YHC was the only one not with bare knees this morning so the rest of the landing party decided to get back up more like Lung (X6 ea) back up the hill to the start

With time not on our side and wanting to get back to the ship before anyone lost their lives we decided to head BTTF but something happened and we all got knocked back down on the way kind of like Crab Cakes. Then from out of no where a loud roar was heard followed by the worst smell known by man or beast.

Did O.C. eat the Beast or just have something bad from Del Taco last night?? We may never know

At the flag and with some extra time the team had to make sure that the party was still alive kind of like Man Killers

    NMS:

Lots of mumble chatter was heard when YHC turned right on the mossey to the COP leaving BW and even more when the curtesy stop was passed at the bottom of TT but once the glow sticks came out Sh%# got real. We had a great adventure and no one actually lost their lives but OC must have ate some road kill on the mossey over.
