    Thanks for Coming Out, Kubota!

    Guess it’s been a while…

    5 minute turn around

    26 minutes downriver

    Moleskine

YHC missed his anniversary Q a few months ago and contemplated recreated his first workout again. With a few in the PAX ailing and likely unable to run that distance, an audible was called. My inner Chum Bucket was creative last night and I recalled a few Super 21s we did at Punisher that I always hated. Hated because they were hard, got the heart rate up, yet didn’t require a lot of running. Thus Super 21s today. You can all text Chum and thank him.

Mumblechatter varied today from high school baseball results and discrepancies between single count and double count (where was Upchuck when we needed him). YHC forgot the reference to national corn on the cob day, perhaps Last Call will pay homage soon.

    Coffeeteria was great as always.

Have a great Wednesday everyone. Welcome to our FNGs. See y’all soon.

Partner up. 1 partner run to stoplight and back while other does: Block Swings, Block presses, Thrusters, Boat & Canoe. PAX had so much fun 1st round so let’s Repeato. Back to flag and 1 min of Shavasna.

NMS: Solid group of veteran PAX this morning. A good way to celebrate 10 years of posting. Coffee after was a blast as always.

  • Move Things Along

A wonderful group of 5 FW regulars decided to test the conditions this morning. Just a mere sprinkle. In search of cover we mosey over to the church for dry introductions and disclaimers all in conversation. These included dead man hang, SSH’s, Jazzercise and some other items.

7 of Clubs was that call for the day. At each of the 3 covered areas perform multiple of 7 exercises (up to 28) while running inbetween. Exercises included HR Merkins (7), WWII’s (14), Squats (21), Lunges (i think was 28), LBC’s (21), Shoulder Taps(14) and Flutters (7).

Mosey back to the main entrance for Quintuple Check. Timer runs to the brick structure. Exercises included Peoples Chair, Ukrainian Soldiers, Balls to the Wall, Dirty Hookups. 2 rounds completed.

Stop back at the 1st covering for a quick exercise then BTTVF for numbers, names, announcements and prayers. YHC took us out so Atilla could get back to handle business.

Many thanks for the birthday wishes, especially with Blue Moon and Fudd making an appearance at FW.  Grateful for the PAX showing up today.  YHC now has an excuse for being slow. Good to see Last Call despite his frustration with the early morning Heisman.  Only appropriate as one member of the PAX turns 50 and another prepares to be married.

Prayers up for Roger Roger and Fireman Ed.  More prayers for Senor Frog as he ties the knot this weekend.  Memorial Day convergence at Tredegar at 7 am.  Check Slack.

God is good all of the time!

  • Clydesdales, Helicopter Squats, and F1 Racing

It was that type of morning, as triple checks and post-workout coffee provide ample mumble chatter. It seems this crew is over 200 lbs and many seemed to enjoy too many cinco de mayo bean burritos.

After COP, we made our way down the hill and then up Overlook where clear vistas and warm roads accompanied the beat down. We went a tad over on the time, but sometimes that is the case when covering distance.

It’s been a great ride so far with this crew! Thanks for leading the way!

    YHC took us out.
