  • Sphincter Lock Down

New Kent’s original 2 emerged from the gloom to find all school facilities locked down, as well as security taking an interest in our Warmarama. It looked like maybe 2 middle aged men were going to duke it in a middle school parking lot at 05:30 on a Friday morning?

Mosey through the school roads to the tennis courts for a nice long round of The Beast:

    • Squats & Mosey
    • Merkins & Burnie
    • WWII’s & Bear Crawls
    • Lunges & Bunny Hops
    • Carolina Dry Docks & Karaoke
    • Broleg-Ups & Crawl Bear

Do some Moseying and Incline and Decline Curb Crawls on the way BTTF.

  • Big Numbers!!

Three HIMs rolled into LocoMotion for our second biggest showing to date! The details of the beatdown may be a little fuzzy but one thing’s for sure we knocked out a bunch of random exercises, mixed in some 11s, and finished things off with our calves on fire with calf raises.

Numbers, Names, and Announcements were covered, and we closed it all out in prayer

  • Me, Myself & I

A solo beatdown this morning. Got in a few miles, mixed in plenty of merkins and squats and started getting back into a solid routine.

Closed out with Numbers, Names, and a prayer.

  • Where the F*** is this place?!?

Note to self, the map for Loco Motion on the F3RVA page is wrong. Loco Motion is at a different location, and no it’s not closer….

6 men, 2 locals, and 4 Summer Touridians gathered for a Beaver Q. Beaver’s hopes were dashed when YHC rolled in bearing the Ghost Flag.

For the sake of time all YHC will say is that we did various exercises and it was a good time. We are thankful to have Beaver and Choo Choo carrying the F3 Banner in the Eastern Frontier.

Announcements – Summer Tour continues next week. July 4th Convergence at 0700 at Gridiron.

Beaver now has the Ghost Flag. Looking forward to seeing where it appears next.

  • Porta Dash Trash Panda

YHC did some stuff! Logged some mosey miles, dropped a pin and a deuce on Hitchhikers PortaDash app. Did some coupon stuff. Came up with a new routine knighting it Trash Pandas. Beaver Out.

  • Solo Recovery

Little solo recovery on the foot this morning, so I knocked out a little over a 3 mile ruck. Hopefully getting back in the swing of things!

  • Slippery When Wet

1 Trojan brought back the cool Chicago weather with him this gloom to downtown New Kent. This workhorse wasn’t feeling all too motivated but got after it anyhow! Saddle up for one hell of a rough run! While the watch stated it as an easy run, YHCs legs were not feeling it was. Log 3.45 miles and set a new 10 minute interval run at 7:47 pace. YHC ended the workout in a small walk, gratitude and prayer to the Sky Q.

    Announcements –

    • Memorial Day Convergence at Dogpile 07:00 (Dogwood Dell Parking lot)
    • Get your ICE (In Case of Emergency) info on Slack as it will soon be removed from the Sheets
    • Sunday afternoon 03:00 June 7 is our New Kent family ruck/hike at Wahrani Trail.
  • Early Start, Late Finish

“It’s a nice gloom for a recovery ruck!” YHC thought as he arrived at 05:10. All this running on top of regular workouts is taking its toll. Sack Up and keep within proximity of the Flags for any arriving PAX. 05:30 presented no additional attendees, so YHC carried on with a bit of adventure. YHC found a really cool outdoor gym in which to do a few ruck sacked pull-ups.but more looking and appreciating took place than pull-ups. Continue on through a trail not yet traveled by the PAX and carry on to finish a solid 4 mile ruck at an overall 16:41 pace.

  • Get Behind Me Fartsack!

Ol’ Beaver exchanged his fartsack for a ruck sack this gloom down in Trojan territory aka Loco Motion! No usual self inflicted beatdown today, as his legs are beat from doing some fast paced runs.

    The Thang!

Ruck 2.5 miles around the area while hitting a couple spots involving weighted Merkins and Sissy squats on curbs, as well as step ups and box jumps on a Beaver friendly height ledge.

  • Excuses Excuses….

Got in a solo workout this morning. Plenty of internal chatter trying to cut it short but I pushed through and stayed the course.

Knocked out 100 merkins running light poles then hit 11s with Mike Tysons and squats on the tennis courts.

Finished strong with a run back to the flag.

Grateful for the chance to get up early, move these legs, and get the lungs working.
