  • No Gumbo or Old Glory

10, no 11, wait, make it 12 early risers arrived at NoToll in anticipation of a Gumbo Q and high probablility of Old Glory but got a substitute instead. The Q was open to suggestions all morning long, main accommodation – stay dry. At 0530 slide over to the bball courts for a warm-up with some random numbers thrown in. Again, the numbers mean nothing, until they do. Now 12 – that’s a magic number when it comes to the number of PAX – partners, triple check, Quad-check, so many options.

We stayed on the bball courts all morning with a variation of suicides/lines – Doracide, Burpeecide, Triple Check, Beasticide. A mini Old Glory thrown in the middle of everything. Side note – even 10 minutes of a mini Old Glory on the bball courts would be brutal. Close out with some Mary

Are GP doctors really needed? Getting moms involved in the conversation, ok? The party did not stop with House Party and Tea Party both on board.

SOJ info and new dates coming soon. See Slack

DTH final Qs before his Mission Trip – Forge and RockNRoll

  • Welcome to the Tea Party

    Warmerama:

Aptly 11 Pax including one long bearded FNG joined for a Machismo number 11 inspired bro fest. It went a little something like this; SSH of varying cadence, Abe Vigoda, Don Quixote, American Hammers, Imperials Walkers.

11s between toll gates Dips, Incline Merkins.

Eye of the the Hurricane (thanks Mister Rodgers) 5-burpee center on the pavilion with 50 SSH, 50 Air Presses, 50 2-Count revenge of the imperial walkers, 50 American Hammers.

11s again from midfield where some Lunging Lt. Dans made it back to the pavilion for Merkins (yes Ricky Tea Party those are push-ups).

A short bear crawl march ensued with a burpee cherry back towards the flag. Crab Walk, Walk Carb and we were out with a minute of Merkin Murder.

Announcements: Oysters buying lunch at Brick House this Thursday. Also Diamond Billiards on Friday Rosie leading the charge.

Welcome to the party gentlemen. YHC got a good roll of sweat going to wash away the lidocaine patch. It was all worth it to welcome a new Pax member with 4 girls, his own business, and long beard. Get those pinkies high and look out for Tea Party. The Pax also righted a porta-john this morning so feel free to call him by his initials TP. Just don’t think his name was inspired by some revolutionary northerners, it all starts with sponge cakes gentlemen. We are better together in cadence or not.

NMS:  Sweethearts all, thanks for coming out this morning. Nothing like getting a “Hell Yes!” when posing the question “Will you be mine?” As mentioned, YHC had a fun time with the M coming up with that Q – she’s a musical genius, and like Greenbow says, the marriage that plans Q’s together, stays together! Haha, um yes that playlist is gonna be on repeat tonight. Hope you all get lucky tonight! (Though good luck working those hips after this AM!) SYITG, DTH

Mosey to back parking lot for COP:

SSHs, Imperial Walkers, DQs, Ukrainian Soldiers, LBCs, Flutter Kicks

Mosey to field for a Beast:

Six rounds, six stops, six reps: Merkins, 2-count Ball Dippers, WWIIs, Tricep Extensions, Jump Squats, Burpees

Five more burpees to make an odd 41 in honor of Draper’s birthday.

Indigenous peoples run back to the basketball court.

At the basketball court, bear crawl one side, forward crab one side, polar bear crawl one side, and then backward crab.

    BTTF.

Prayer request for a friend of DTHs M who received a terminal cancer diagnosis

    NMS:

Maybe it’s just me, but when YHC started posting for F3 back in the day, the beast made a more regular appearance. Always a hit for the PAX, YHC decided to unleash the beast this morning. Come to find out, this was Dealer’s first beast and apparently it did not disappoint. Glad he was able to finally get the experience.

Oh yeah…and happy birthday Don Draper!

    Peace…I’m out!

  • Enjoy the Glow

Double Ones was the count that descended onto the lush green turf of No Toll this gloomy morn. Temps were crisp 70 and sunny. This is what occurred in the gloomy haze of the watching public.

Short trip to the basketball courts for introductions, disclaimers and warm ups that included invisible jump rope, DQ’s, dead man hang, merkins, lbc’s and quick spelling bee test based on the results from the weekend.

Everyone seemed warm, no stragglers – off to the fields.

Clockwork: Mosey to midfield where 12 stations had been arranged by glow sticks. Each glow stick represented an exercise to be performed in reps of 20. Between each exercise make your way back to the center circle for 2 burpees, proceed to next glow stick and repeat. No particular order, go as an individual or in small groups for protection. Exercises included WWII’s, American Hammers, Chain Smokers, Squats, Imperial Squat Walkers, Ball Dippers, Hand Release Merkins, Dips, Curls for the Gurls, Dying Cockroaches, Arm Circles (forward and reverso) & Block Presses. DTH led variety of plank exercises for the 6. Everyone returns to a glow stick to repeat said exercise, collect the card & return to center circle – 2 burpees.

Return the coupons to the stack and short mosey to the gate.

Triple Check: Find your 2 closest friends. Jump Squats, Carolina Dry Docks, runner runs to the water tower and back. Careful not the touch the electric/non electric fence.

Mosey to the Basketball Court for quick broga session.

Names, Numbers, Prayers, Announcements: DTH took us out

Bermuda Triangle is up and running on Tuesdays at Goyne Park in Chester. Fill your tank, stamp your passport and make your way down south for a beatdown with Posh, Florence and Shank.

Prayers to Corned Beef and his family on the loss of his mother.

NMS: Wonderful morning with good mumble chatter throughout. Fields were damp but the temps were pleasant. Thank you Greenbow for taking the glowsticks to enhance your kids room and get the full effect of the blacklight poster of Snoop Dogg. Enjoy the day fellas and appreciate you all coming out.

  • Dark Side of the James

43 minutes of Pink Floyd brought the memories rushing back. Some good times, some bad trips, some star-crossed teenage heavy petting by someone who shall remain unnamed (Last Call).

Warmarama – lunges and broad jumps to keep pace with rucking Doublemint. Circle up for some DQs, helicopters, massive numbers of arm circles, copperhead squats, shoulder taps, mirkins, LBCs, and some others lost in the smoky haze of days gone by.

Parking space ascending squats with broad jumps between. Back again with crab walks and ascending WW2s. By that time Doublemint was long gone so we ran the Old Glory loop to catch up. We caught him right back at the start.

11s with pole smokers, lunges in between, Carolina dry docks. I think that’s right, but I could be hallucinating. Apologies to the lady walking her dog at 5h45 in the morning – hope you like psychedelic space rock.

Head to the tennis courts for the Pigskin special: wall sit hoedowns, hip slap balls to the wall, 15 donkey kicks, wall sit milkers, balls to the wall toe taps, 15 donkey kicks, wall sit air press, balls to the wall Australian mountain climbers, 15 donkey kicks, then 10 dirty hookups.

Heels to heaven until the music stopped.

Thanks gents for coming out to enjoy a blast from the past. Can’t remember the last time YHC listened to an album all the way through with good friends in the cool outside air. Shout out to Doublemint who is on the mend and continues to show up – being there is a victory not just for him but for us all.

    “Home, home again.
I like to be here when I can.
When I come home cold and tired
It’s good to warm my bones beside the fire.
    Far away across the field
The tolling of the iron bell
Calls the faithful to their knees
To hear the softly spoken magic spells.”

  • You are the Sh*t. Love, Dad

9 Gloom Jockey’s hopped on the horse for a reminder that we were and we still are the sh*t. YHC started with a little transition between the seasons as we Mosied to the tennis court for a pre COP cardio. 4 sides shuffle, high knees, shuffle, bernie. COP was 20 SSH, 10 Imperial Squat Walkers, 10 Wide Merk, Oblique LBC R, LBC, Left, 10 Diamond Merk, 12? Crab Cakes, 10 regular merk.

The search continues for a Jerkin bar at No Toll – Failed toll with bar gate.

Following was 4 corners prostitute 10 Merk, 20 Freddie Merc, 30 Crab Cake, 40 SSH.

11s at the shelter for dips and Lt. Dan’s. DD modified to lunge steps to shorten the trip back from midfield to dips.

Bataan Bear Crawl with a 2 Burpee cherry through the rotation one time towards the flag.

Ended with 5 merkin ring of fire and a 30 second 6″ plank eyes to you’re adjacent neighbor for a reminder that you are still the Sh*t.

Announcements: Frozen triangle start at dogpile at 6. ready for ~3hrs of fun.

YHC learned that Merkin count is a double count exercise. Down on 1; Up on 2; Down on 3; Up on PAX “1” that’s two for the price of one. YHC closed with a reminder that we were made in the image of our creator. As Last Call said “My body is a temple”

    NMS:

No Toll has always been one of YHC’s favorite AO’s, not just because of the AO itself but because of the guys that consistently post to it. It was good to see Greenbow out and getting after it again, seeing some of the newer faces that post multiple times per week Mudslide, Heist ,Machismo and House Party to name a few (you guys are awesome), keep posting. Last Call, Snuff and Honeymoon you guys are part of the glue that holds it all together (along with so many guys that couldn’t be here today), I want you to know how much I appreciate this PAX (F3RVA). 9/4/18 was YHC’s first post with F3 and it was at this AO, thanks for letting me Q the last No Toll of the year.
