A total of 9 gents arrived at UR to run, walk, and bike. Routes had been posted and questions were sparse.
Subsequent discussions centered around the versatility of feminine products when you are in a pinch.

Lots of turns in this route but most are well known. 6s decided to evaluate which route was shorter at the base of Boatwright, continue down college or turn down campus. It wasn’t a race, but Marv got back first.

A formidable 15 descended upon UR for the weekly spider run – which included YHC’s son Spackler who was easily outpacing his old-man.

It’s been a few weeks since YHC made an appearance at Spider Run. After reviewing routes from previous weeks, YHC came up with something we hadn’t seen in a while. Slack disagreement was overblown, everyone enjoyed it.
YHC especially enjoyed seeing the fine mist in the air that was reflected by the headlamp. Quickly realizing it wasn’t mist, but pollen, coughing ensued for the remainder of the run.
Embrace the day fellas.

Not sure anyone did the route 100% as prescribed, but it was fun to try. The cut-through to Bandy ain’t what it used to be. Sippy took a tumble, but no injuries reported thankfully. Hitch may have a new spokesperson for Portadash. Next time we’ll do Bandy Clockwise for a spicy little treat.

They say the fallacy with communication is the assumption it has actually taken place. This statement was in full display given how some chose to follow the direction of the maps versus reading the note in the pre-blast requesting the opposite direction.
Alas, YHC has learned a valuable lesson here….

Perfect weather for a run around the lake and to head west today. While some flirted with long sleeves, none were needed today. Glad OBT was able to get a tour of some new streets to challenge his preference for a grid.
Good post COT chatter as no one was in a hurry to warm up.
Next few weeks Qs are open. Sign up!

An elite 8 arrived toat Spider Run which included a surprise visit from my son – which absolutely made my day.
Most had studied the routes which involved an out-and-back…crossing the Huguenot bridge and then heading West…
Not surprisingly, Spackler (Saab Jr.) made it look easy while I worked to keep up…and I wouldn’t have it any other way.
