Apparently, Marv correctly predicted that YHC’s route would involve crossing Patterson.  YHC’s only real habit is to never call Grove or the Bridge but will try and be a little less predictable next time.  No real inspiration but when plotting out the route, the small and medium routes looked like a chicken leg, so there you have it.  The 6’s looked like a leftover chunk of something got stuck to the leg in the fryer.  You never know what a pre-run conversation might entail, today’s included stubbed toes, spider bites, and the little elementary school library tables and chairs.  Thanks to Marv for taking us out with an interesting perspective to say the least.

The DogPile PAX was smallish in number, but mighty.  The plan was to revisit territory once conquered by F3RVA but left to the wild many moons ago.  YHC forgot how far, time consuming, and potentially treacherous it was to the Northbank wilderness.  Thankfully no known injuries have been reported.  During TC1 the timer proved to be way too long for Derkins, audible was appropriately called.  This seldom visited area is now henceforth known as the Doggie’s Perineum.

YHC was met by Opus planning a 3ish mile run with Bulkhead.  As the remaining PAX arrived, the runners were talked into bootcamping.  The Self Dora made them question that choice.  YHC used no undue influence, in fact the PAX was consulted on multiple decisions, including not doing monkey humpers in front of 30 or so Atlee band members, allowing repeat trees, and lunging toward the flag rather than in place.  With the filing of this backblast and maybe one more Tuckahoe Takeover is a wrap.  It’s been great to branch out, also exhausting.  See yall soon.

YHC parked in Rosco’s reserved spot, made lots of noise throughout the neighborhood, and defaced the Clubhouse landscaping all before 6am.  If YHC was a welcomed guest, he outstayed his welcome quickly.  Granted, Marmaduke did some serious defacing of the air quality all on his own.  Add Murder Bunnies to the list of things SOJ will not do, along with Scorpion Kicks and personal hygiene, ha.  Just kidding of course, YHC has thoroughly enjoyed seeing his Wildling and Jorts Loving brethren all week.  Tuckahoe Takeover continues….

YHC appreciated the PAX’s willingness to recycle a known route as opposed to following YHC’s blind lead.  Enjoyed mumblechatter with Phonics and Bulkhead while Marco and Speakeasy pushed slightly ahead.  Discussion involved real estate in Southwest Virginia, Highland Springs Lacrosse and Swim Teams, economics of travel soccer in the US, the GOAT Olympian, and whether or not Navy men actually know how to swim.  Thanks for the hospitality!

YHC put out a disclaimer at the beginning that the workout might not be the hardest but would be a lot of fun.  As it turns out the PAX is not quite ready for its own YouTube channel and lots of Merkins were dished out.  DK swears he will actually be impressed when his kids land a bottle flip from now on.  Slick boards, improper distancing, and the lack of a beer in the non-throwing hand made for very sub-par Cornholing.  There was 1 highlight worthy of the web as Parker scored Eagle for Team 2 by putting shot 2 with a Football in the hole from about 50 yards out.  POG drove the green with a softball bat on # 3 to give Team 1 an easy Eagle.  The more YouTube worthy videos would have been the bloopers, particularly Hermie off the tee box on #4.  In the end Team 2 was victorious in the Ultimate Sports Golf Challenge.  Look for Hermie’s new video content on the dark dark web.

YHC received a late text from Handshake to set up a play date at DaVille.  The dynamic duo ignored all signage to pull into the AO just in time for CB to plant the flag and launch.  For future guest Qs, the backside of the AO is much further than you will probably think.  YHC is not certain if both teams of 4 butchered the quadruple check but Team B bungled it so badly a second chance was imperative.  Thanks to the DaVille PAX for the warm welcome, maybe next time we won’t even try to count above ten.  Tuckahoe Takeover is in full swing, look for strangers all over.
