  • Three Pirates

It turns out that it is “talk like a pirate day”. Only at the end of the workout was this called with some exciting new pirate inspired yoga moves.

But let’s start at the beginning.

COP in front of the school. First triple check: BTTW, Monkey Humpers, and run to the road and back.

Chum Bucket stops to talk to a colleague at the school for the public hearing.

Over to the side of the school for second triple check: Plerkins and bear crawl to the tree and back.

Some Lindsays: Donkey kicks, 5 pace lunge and Box Cutters. Lunge back and keep going with the Lindsay cycle.

Triple check 3 – Carolina dry docks, jump squats, and run to that tree. The elm I think.

Mosey around the school. Chum did some excellent yoga to take us out. Great debriefing with this awesome group of men about things on our mind and how to manage the stresses of life.

Announcements: Happy hour Punisher is coming back soon. See Slack for details.

  • Fastest Big Data Points in the West

In the running for Big Data lead and need your points? Look no further, come to RAMM with points posted within an hour.

We headed west on Grove and made our way to Snake River. 4s did the left fork, 5s left/right/left, and 6s did left/right/left/right. Everyone returned the way we came in.

Marv took us out. Marv not only has a great voice for taking us out, but he always provides inspiration and true authenticity in his words. Thank you.

  • Fudd’s Rubber Ducky

A great eight came out for F3’s earliest workout. We had stars, clouds, humidity, and a little bit of oversharing. Due to some members wishing to recover from injury prior to BRR, YHC kept the mileage manageable.

Mosey across the parking lot for COP. Pick up some blocks and let the fun begin.

11s – Murder Bunnies across the parking lot while doing Merkins/Box Cutters as the exercises.

Triple Check – Wall sit, elbow plank, and 40 Monkey Humpers as the timer.

Half-Dora for 1 – 10 triceps extensions, 20 bicep curls, 30 bench press – all with the blocks. Lunge across the parking lot and back – 5 sets

  • Hillacious

Yep, a play on words, but none the less – true. Fifteen early morning mountain goats set off into the humid fog for parts unknown. UR to Westhampton Way to Glen Parkway to Westham Parkway and then take a left. Drop down to Westham Station where the fun begins.

  • Better Never Than Late

Off we went on a garden tour of Windsor Farms. Fun was had by all including the FNG. There were a few wildlife sightings – a fox and a buck.

  • Owlful Lot of Running

Off to the lake and cut up next to the baseball field, beyond the Robins Center and stadium. Take a left on the illuminated trail and a left on Wheeler. A right on Ridgetop where the early morning’s air was abuzz with the sound of generators.

A nice long climb to the top and a right on Patterson. 4s turn on Pepper to bounce down Toanna to the shovel flag. 5s turn on Libbie to Grove to the access road to Toanna. 6s take a right on Harlan and a left on Roslyn to pick up Grove, the access road and Toanna.

    Bone Thugs took us out.

    Moleskin

The Pax circled up, but no Sippy and Marv. Just before we were about to call the search party they emerged down the road. An owl swooped from a tree and took Marv’s hat. Despite Marv’s best efforts, he was not able to convince the owl to relinquish the hat to its rightful owner. The owl moved with great stealth, speed, and precision, lifting the hat from a mid-stride Marv.

After the workout, Marv was able to reclaim his hat. We are not certain what deal he made with the owl. Perhaps we now know “who do you cook for?”.
