  • Spring in Bloom

    Three emerged at the strike of 7 and off we went on our respective run and ruck routes. Plenty of animals out early and the first of the flowers are in bloom. The sunrise around the river is spectacular!

    Two emerged from the early gloom as Mr Rogers answered YHC’s late night call. Off we went covering ground and deeper meaning.

  • Go Your Own Way

    Seven runners and ruckers went their own way after the pull of a Seigel Center run enticed folks to keep the winning streak alive. Others did recon elsewhere in the city, but we can’t talk about that.

  • Donkey Kong Workout, Feats of Strength, and Being Thankful for Unexpected Gifts

    Yeah, it was that kind of workout for the 10 of us. Lots of fun, no serious injuries, and coffee was great afterwards.

    According to the five deer touring the AO, a strong Pax of five emerged into the gloom working the favorites, pushing each other, and having great open discussion about life. The discussion continued at LM where the coffee was flowing.

  • Planetary Alignment

    When the stars align – or at least the planets – running, rucking, or walking just seems to happen. Routes were called and off we went. There was slight complaint when I mentioned the routes were intentionally a little light in miles. I will make it up to you next time.

    Eight Pax members sculpted by classic movie quotes and references embarked on running and rucking. North on Westmoreland, right on Fitzhugh to Broad, and come back on Antrim or Tilden, Mulberry, or Meadow depending on your distance. Grove brings you home.

  • Yesterday’s News

    A triumphant twelve eagerly departed on routes of 4,5, and 6. Commonwealth to Monument, west to Willow Lawn, pick up Patterson and head west. Pick up the associated cross street and return on Grove.

    Libbie Market coffee time is always fun, but today was full of laughs and engaging! Talk ranged from a variety of topics, but always entertaining and lively!

  • Crowd Sourcing Movie Recommendations

    Six bodies shivering in the light as the Q showed up just in time making it a lucky 7 + 1 K9. Directions were called and all embarked on their routes. Commonwealth to Monument and head east picking up the appropriate turns to come back on Grove.

    Coffee at Libbie Market on a weekday is special indeed. Today was extra special as we reminesced about classic movies – both for kids and adults. A solid list was compiled.

  • T’was the Morning Before Christmas

    Walkers, ruckers, and runners of different paces converged today for some holiday cheer! Up the main entrance and ascend Boatwright to Edgehill. Down Three Chopt to Patterson and back on your respective cross street.
