  • Hill Repeats or Not

YHC didn’t realize there was a Q as Doozy had declared hill repeats via text message, sorry Chaplain. YHC decided to toss out a route that summited Twin Team twice but not repeatedly beat ourselves into submission. Chaplain took the 2.0 on a flatter run. YHC took OC out around the Brigstock hood, and Doozy, Boberry and Bullseye repeated Twin Team in different manners.

Good to have our buddy Bullseye back out as he recovers from surgery.

    Carry on my PAX friends.

  • Powderham Loops

All three opted for a 4-mile route this AM so off to Powderham we went. Up Twin Team, Cawood over to the loop, once around and back over to Brigstock via Ellesmere. Return home for a little extra credit for around 4.3 miles.

Good to have Lug back out these past few weeks, and good to catch up with House Party.

  • 10 years a Q

Q sheet open. 9:00 PM. YHC realized his first Q was Valentines Day week, must have been 2015, at No Toll. Time to resurrect a few things recollected.

Parking lot empty, YHC hoped someone would join the festivities. In comes Rosie and Sanchez, and off we went. YHC knew Sanchez hadn’t experienced the joy of Twin Team yet, the namesake. Warm up at the base (yes of course there was a honeymoon suite) and head up for some LOVE hill. Couple different versions as we made our way to the top – bear crawls, lunges, Ukrainian Soldiers, Bernies. Ring of Fire merkins in between and ring of fire heals to heaven. Mosey back down to the school. 10 pull ups on the bars or whatever you could muster. Double suicide across the basketball courts from the 10 year prior Q. Some abs at the end.

Thanks to the two amigos who joined YHC. Good conversation as we made our way around. The total mileage upon completion was a serendipitous 2.14 miles. Enjoy the holiday, however it is that you do or not celebrate it.

By the way, where’s The Lounge pax at these days?

  • Slider Belly Run

How many sliders did you consume yesterday? AND is that Lug Nut?!

5 strong made it out after a terrible Super Bowl, unless you’re an Eagles or Kendrick Lamar fan I guess. With various types of snacks still in our bellies, YHC decided on a route close to various types of bathrooms – down to the park and back around the school twice for 4 miles.

Good to see Sanchez in week 2. Another newbie joined us for their inaugural River Run outing – Orby. Way to go gents.

  • SOJ Takeover to SOJ

Bakers dozen arrived for SOJ takeover week. The route was plain and simple, run to SOJ, out and back, return in 45 minutes. Ruckers rucked.

Cold, brisk morning and a lonely 4 mile route for YHC. Careful of eye freezing. Don’t forget your foreskin neck warmer in these temps.

  • Three Amigos Run

We came, we saw, we conquered. 4 mile route, Doozy hung with the slow guys today. Mumble chatter was at its finest.

MLK Day – do something nice for someone today (or everyday).

  • Cold Potato Q

The puns of F3. Party of 1 arrived at the AO in hopes of seeing some familiar faces but without another sole in sight and no one to toss the potato to, YHC took off to the hills to stay warm. Couple loops around various cul-de-sacs and the high school logged three miles, returned for some 100 rep exercises – merkins, LBCs, squats (sorry DTH, YHC passed on the burpees). With icicles forming on the beard, the towel was thrown after exactly 45 minutes.

  • Feel the Rhythm Feel the Rhyme!

Get on up it’s running time!

Two of the fastest runners on the road this morning climbed out of the sack and made a run through Salisbury. It was cold, there was ice, but it was all good. Stay safe out there my friends!

  • Solo at River Run

Bullseye braved the elements and made the trip out to River Run on a wet and slushy Monday morning. All others on the group chat remained silent in advance of the snow storm to hail all snow storms (in the past few years).

Bullseye mentioned not ringing up the back blast for it so YHC is helping big data.

  • Christmas Eve Eve Run

7 or so ascended upon River Run for a holiday run through Powderham. And it was cold, cold, cold, cold, cold.

    Ruckers rucked.

Runners ran up Twin Team and into Powderham, performed the loop back around to Ellesmere and through to Brigstock, back home. Doozy added some extra mileage.

Beautiful morning for a run through the neighborhood. Great job gents. Hope everyone has (had) a safe and fun holiday.
