  • OS who? GO Blue!!!!

7 Normal PAX and 1 fan of the team we shall not speak its name posted for a misty but pleasant 70 but sunny beatdown.

Mosey to the circle for some stretches and a few merkins, a few LBC’s, some Ukrainian soldiers and some SSH’s

Mosey to the amphitheater and partner up. Partner 1 LBC’s, Partner 2 runs the perimeter X3 second round American Hammers, third round Scrunchy Frog

Repeto with different partner (Oyster chose the wrong group to run with) Partner 1 squats, partner 2 run, second round LT Dans, third round ???

Mosey up to the top partner up again. Partner 1 step ups, partner 2 run to the bottom and bear crawl back up. Second round Box Jumps, third round dips

Mosey back to the bottom (but first call Nancy back for cheating down the stadium)

Circle up because Bodos wants to do Man Killers, what kind of leader doesn’t give the people what they want?

Mosey back to the top and back to the circle Ring of fire 10 Burpees OYO, 10 No Cheat Merkins OYO, and because Nancy tried to distract YHC and I forgot we already did them 10 Burpees OYO

    Mosey BTTF

Numbers / Names Bodos (the professional) took us out (the customary F3 appearance fee was rendered for his services and the public speaking was at cost)

    NMS:

YHC hasn’t Q’ed Dogwood in a while and forgot there is allot more to explore however a head lamp may be required. Great conversation, GO Blue!!! and GO Navy!! Just to start something with Gomer and a few others in the PAX 😁

  • Took the long way home

We ran through the Wellesley tunnel to the courts and did two rounds of 25 merkins, squats, WW2 and dips with 2 burpees between each exercise (20 total). Then Roger Roger led us the long way home. We did 4 miles (min) and went almost ten minutes over. Long way added about 0.8 miles—oops. Extra credit for everyone and ten demerits for me as Q.

  • Three’s Company

3 men posted on a drizzling morning to throw some iron around. Perfect numbers for triple checks so that’s what the pax did.

Mosey around parking lot then some COP.

    Triple checks all around:

Round 1 – squats, demon crushers, mountain climbers (timer)

Round 2 – club swing right hand, club swing left hand, rosalitas (timer)

Round 3 – kb swings, curls, mosey around parking lot (timer)

Some boat canoes and GRAMS to close out.

Numbers, names, Surf n Turf took us out.

  • MOT Solo Run

5:30 AM, lace up the running shoe straps and off YHC went into the gloom. Winterfield -> Salisbury route and around the school for 3.75 miles. Passed a good number of people out this morning through the mist but no signs of F3 garb. Maybe the Homegrown Half wore em down.

  • FW Gets Loungey

7 early risers posted to FW for some Gumbo and it got loungey. Little counting, lot’s of mumblechatter. Topics ranged from F3 photo shoots to binge-worthy Netflix series, to political statements that may come out of the Florida truck tragedy that we all expected must be on Ronnie’s docket. We solved all the world’s problems.

But today was also a celebration of heavenly birthdays for YHC’s dad and, as it turns out, Ronnie’s mom. Happy birthday to two wonderful people we wish were still with us and who, oddly, both passed away far too early in 2012. Phil Goldman would have been 88 today. Miss ya, pops!

0500 and it was time for the earliest bootcamp in town to get moving. Mosey the long way around the church, through the dark alley (paying our burpee, speed bump tolls) around to the front for COP. And that was where things went Loungey.

We did exercises. EF Hutton tried counting for a bit. The rest were in conversation. All was good.

Mosey down to the side wall for some Donkey Kicks, lunges and Merkins – 2 rounds.

Mosey around back for The Suck x2. 6 men doing exercises. 1 man running the parking lot or “running” in the case of Atilla.

Mosey back to the flag through the dark alley (tolls paid).

    4 minutes of Mary

    Numbers, Names, COT

No big announcements or prayers. There is a party coming up for Gypsy and Pinto’s upcoming weddings. I’m told not to each other, but I can’t confirm.

    No More Gumbo For You!

  • 50 Lieutenant Dan Burpees?

6 Pack of PAX made it to the friendly confines of Goyne Park for the latest installment of The Bermuda Triangle. It was a mild 70 and sunny, but the Bermuda Boys were not in for a mild beatdown.

We moseyed over to the basketball court for the standard warmarama, then got into some suicides for the first COP

Lunge walk to quarter, half, 3 quarter, and full court, 10 merkins, then Bernie back.

Mosey to the coupon shed to pick up 3 coupons and bring back to the pavilion for a Dora.

100 Thrusters, 150 Heels to Heaven, 200 Jump Squats while partners take turns running to the other side of the parking lot and back.

Return coupons then back to the flag.

YHC was looking at Big Data, and turns out this is Pool Boy’s 50th post at Bermuda Triangle. So it was imperative to do a 50 count of something. Unfortunately, time did not allow for 50 Lieutenant Dan Burpees. So, 50 Merkins would have to do.

    Great work by the PAX!

  • Sweet dreams are made of these!

0528: cool, dewy, 60’s, and a cacophony of fullheart mumble chatter bouncing around among the gathered PAX. 0530: classic 80’s rock electric guitar booms out from a speaker being carried off into the gloom by the Q …the PAX brimming with questions follows behind with bewildered enthusiasm.

    The THANG:

    WARMERAMA:

    • Mosey out to Field 1 and circle up
    • Brief Welcome & Disclaimer
    • Brief smattering of warm-up Reps IC

    THE F3 BEATDOWN DECK:

    • PAX given review of Beatdown Deck rules of engagement – 5-card rounds, each followed with a run around the field, complete as many rounds as possible …most of the PAX still chattering away, most not hearing any instructions anyway over the blasting classic rock, oh well
    • x6 awesome sets completed, x30 cards total – BOOM.
    • Silly group pic around completed cards

    Mosey BTTF:

    • 3 minutes of stretching

    COT:

    • Counterama # 15
    • Namerama
    • Announcerama (see Below)
    • BOM Prayer

NMS:  YHX was amazed with the frisky cool-weather mumble chatter happening before launch time.  Didn’t feel right to interrupt so it was just the music to Q our kickoff, and the PAX remained animated for the full 45 minutes – clearly seen in the group picture. Could a Q ask for a better gaggle of gloom HIM’s to start the day with?!? And many thanks to the beatdown deck bringing a smokefest – ALWAYS a solid option. Yours AYE! ~DTH
