  • Humidity, Sweat, getting ready

Chaplain and House Party hit the trails on a little run, I did a little rucking prior to our broga session. Yes for those who have seen or hit my sessions, I do rock n broga(play rock music while getting loosened up). We started off a little cat and cow, a little beast pose(knees slightly of the ground pressing your hands to raise up). Turn started a little flow including a tweak to runners lunge(back foot flat on the mat). I think I got both Chaplain and House Party good with the extreme side planks (leg comes thru and it’s in the air) then we dropped to our six for some more stretching.

The end is I like to hitp pigeon really get the hips worked as we get closer to the main workout. Close to 15 minutes we finished then recovered as we got ready for Florence’s workout. In yoga, a couple of things always can go further than what you think plus just that little gain or something loosening up or able to reach farther can be a plus(it’s a journey not a sprint). See you next time

  • Kubroga

4.5 strong for YHC’s version of Broga in order to prepare for a Yeehaw beatdown. It was fun.

  • WestHoe Takeover?

Two bros rolled out their mats to limber up and find some enlightenment. House party was a happy participant to YHC’s novice brogaship, NTB popped in for a brief Shavasana.

  • Rock n Broga

The timing was perfect….returned the big poles back then I needed to depart to get some broga in. A good turnout of 7 came over near the flag to stretch out and get ready for the main event. Started on the ground, twisting getting the back and midsection ready. Then sphinx, cat/cow down dog then time to go thru a couple of cycles.

Today we really worked Warrior 2 into side angle. The one thing in yoga: there’s always somewhere else to go. I am able to bind once again, it takes time but there’s 3 different positions. After that was done hit the classic pigeon(poor touchdown, the mind and body was not working, so I got him into figure 4, I am sure he was thinking thank god. We finished out with a few minutes left, time to get ready for Big Rig

A couple of things….when I am steady and doing yoga consistently, I feel good, moving a lot better besides the pole carry that the shoulders were not used to(felt odd just need more time to get that spot on the shoulders figured out plus my steps had to be choppy(kept kicking the person in front of me).

Second when the new AO at Goyne Park gets going, I will split time between there and Rock and Roll. Get the new spot going, yet I will update where i will be so broga stays up no matter where. See you next time

  • Tres Amigos

3 fine looking gents left the fart sack early to limber up prior to the impending Fireman Ed beatdown. A variety of areas were emphasized including shoulders, hammys, hips. Shorter shavasana was chastised by the Pax, note to self. Great work fellas, thank you for the conversation and commitment to stretch with me after my week hiatus.

  • You Talked About What in Middle School?

    Stretched, mumblechattered, bodily functioned, shavasana’d.

  • Finally brought it back

After the rain last weekend, the weather finally gave us a break to not only get the sun but the Saturday broga back again. 5 came out on a humid morning which helped to get the muscles loose. I definitely heard some grunting which is fine(after a while, that will change). Side bends, dead man hangs, little plank work, up and down dog, Warriors 1 and 2, triangles, side angle, pigeon etc was the order for today

I like to call it Rock and Broga(like the rock music playing) a playlist I created a long time ago. Hope everyone feels better, see you next time

  • 5 at 4.30

A full hand of lean brogiis enjoyed the prime conditions that awaited them at Early First Watch this morning. Areas worked included back, shoulders, hammys, hips and glutes. Extended shavasana was extra nice with the cool temps and sound breeze. Mumble chatter was strong as expected leading to a variety of topics. Well done fellas.

  • Bone Thugs Broga

A grizzled Brogi veteran met up with a Brogi virgin to work out some aches and pains prior to the epic Sable beatdown that ensued. Areas of emphasis included glutes, hips, hammys, shoulders and back. A touch of work on the groin and calves followed by a bit of shavasana. Pigeon was a crowd pleaser as is typically the case. Good to see Bone interested in a bit of prebeatdown limberness in the gloom. Always appreciate the laughs and the groans. Great work.

  • Fools in the Rain

2 sleepless brojiis felt the need to get up before most in search of dry spots to lay out their properly sanctioned yoga mats for some predawn limberness. Variety of areas worked including hammys, groins, hips and shoulders. Shavasana was short but sweet. Appreciate the tales and the groans.
