Wellesley

  • Buehler, Buehler, Anybody, Anybody…

Tunnel Vision was lonely this morning, with only 1. But I continued the 55 theme with:

5 Burpees at each light in the tunnel (25), 4 Corners of 25: Dips, WWIIs, Calf Raises and Squats with 5 Burpees in the center.

Picnic tables for a Lindsay: Dips and Step Ups. Some Abs: 55 WWIIs, 55 American Hammers, then 55 of a mixture ofHeals to Heaven/Irish Hammers.

Back through the tunnel for: 5 Burpees, 10 Irish Hammers, 20 Merkins, 25 Heals, 50 American Hammers.

  • Cut & Paste

A not-so-speedy quintuplet gathered at Roger Roger’s abandoned home AO.  Here is how it went down:

    • COP
      • SSH
      • IW
      • Ukrainian soldiers
      • Helicopters
      • Arm circles
      • DMH
      • Suzanne Somers
      • Merkins
      • LBC
      • Penguins
      • APD
    • A moving 11s over to the basketball courts/hill with Mike Tysons and WWII sit-ups
    • 5x check – 4 rounds
      • Bear crawl up hill
      • Dips
      • HRM
      • Squats
      • Crab cakes
    • Mosey back to the flag for 60 seconds of LBC
    • COT with YHC taking us out

My COPs have become predictable as YHC basically does the same thing each workout so the backblast can be a simple cut and paste.  Deal with it Gomer!  Good work from the PAX as we got reps and covered some different ground.

Continued prayers for our brothers looking for, starting new or struggling in their jobs.

  • 2 Clydesdales and a Jockey

Three of us posted this morning (Attila, Wojo and Tater) and for some unknown reason the title of the Back Blast became apparent after the Q may have been running a little too fast for the pax 🙂

After warmup we integrated a new 12-sided die in a mosey around the AO, with each side representing a different exercise. So much fun.

First stop- rolled Dips three times, so 10, 20, then 30.

Second stop- 4 Corners and we rolled: 10 Diamonds, 10 Merkins, 10 Lunges, 10 Dips…but after each exercise we had 10 Burpees in the center (50 total).

Third stop- An Ab break: 10 WWIs, 20 WWIIs, 30 Crunchy, 40 Side Crunches, 50 American Hammers, and 60 second plank

Through the Tunnel with 5 stop of what the die told us…10 Squats.

A double Triple-Triple check rolling the die for new exercises each round in addition to a run (Carolinas, Lunges, Squats, High Knees, Crunches, Deep Squats). Second Triple Check was on playground for Pull-Ups, Dips, and Step-Ups.

  • By-Product’s Aunt Edna Infatuation

Five able-bodied men rolled up for By-Product’s second Q in the past six years, expecting a light credit workout. Aunt Edna, punctual as always, was already there and casually mentioned she outposted Attila for the month of May.

Before kicking off pre-work warmups, By-Product led the PAX over to meet Aunt Edna. During the meet-and-greet, we learned her real name is Linda—and it didn’t take long for the group to agree she’s earned at least quadruple respect.

    Circle up for warm up:

    • Side Staddle Hops IC 15
    • Don Quixote IC 15 (w/perfect Attila form)
    • Helicopters IC 15
    • Arm Circles IC 10 small / 5 big

    • 1 2-count step up
    • 4 arm raises for each 2-count step up
    • Repeat until last set of (10) 2-count step ups and (40) arm raises.

    Burpee 6-Pack:

    • Mosey to the top of the hill by the tennis courts.
    • Do 1 burpee
    • Run to the bottom of the hill – touch the fence, run back up the hill.
    • Do 2 burpees.
    • Rinse and repeat until we have done a 6-pack of burpees.

    • Mosey to boat ramp where Aunt Edna will be waiting.

    • Crunchy Frogs – 25 OYO
    • Don Quixote IC 13

    Great work men!

  • 6-year hiatus

After a 6-year hiatus from Q’ing duties, By-Product miraculously rediscovered the sacred Google Doc—something previously thought to be a myth. The event was so unprecedented that even Fudd had to verify it wasn’t fake news, showing up in person and on time for the entire COP.

So we had a visitor.  An older neighbor who is a sketch artist.  Despite the wet forecast, the PAX stayed dry in our workout today, just like her. Gomer had to behave and not blatantly brag to her that he had sex last night.  Byproduct had to be reminded that she is not a nude sketch artist.  By the end of the workout, we had a watercolor of Tater.  It takes less time to sketch his skinner figure.  He is about as close to a stick figure as they come.  Borat took it home with him.  Hopefully his M is not thinking that there is a 4th F coming to F3.

Memorial Day convergence at Dogpile at 7 am.

Continued prayers for our brothers looking for, starting new or struggling in their jobs.
