  • 8 Track Replay!

    Us New Kent fellas love IPC so much we put Week 2 on replay! 4 he-man woman haters emerged from the gloom to get this 8 track party rolling! We had a sore Beaver and Choo Choo from Weds IPC session and tried our best to prepare Yukon and Wonka on what to expect, not sure if we added any value because it sounds like they’re already sore.

    There wasn’t a whole lot of chatter during the workout as we all passed eachother like ships in the night.

  • Light Shines Brighter In The Rain

    3 High Impact Men emerged from the gloom for an OTBs Wet One with the Iron Pax Challenge Week 2! Our HIM Commando couldn’t make it this Friday for IPC Wk2, he was determined to get it in this morning. Choo Choo and YHC loved the sound of that, so we came out to support him in checking that box and by golly it was a challenge indeed!

    We didn’t have a track, but we made due. Set up a 100m straight run in the parking lot(run out and back 2 times to get that 400m buy in) and set a coupon 33.3 yrds out with the range finder and we were off!

    COT with an emphasis on prayer and that we be a light to this community and nation. Great prayer by Commando!
    Do not grow weary my friends, stay strong and keep faith in the Lord!

  • 2 Kettlebells, 1 Beaver

    1 HIM emerged from the gloom onto PFP with a couple of kettlebells and no big plans for this mornings Mammoth Balls. Beaver got a little crazy and performed a plethora of exercises, some of which might be included in this IPCs Week 2 “8 Track” routine.

  • IPC Week 0 2025

    8 High Impact Men emerged from the dusk onto the Pine Fork Park football field for the 2025 Iron Pax Challenge Week 0! YHC was so excited he woke up numerous times hoping it was time to get after it! There was some dispute of the spread of tunes in which no one approved of, but we didn’t let that slow us down!

    Choo Choo led us in Warmarama at centerfield! We then meandered over to the whiteboard to do a final overview of the Week 0 workout.

    The workout took much longer than I think any of us anticipated. No halfass reps here!

    Choo Choo and Commando were sidelined being on IR but they remained mobile as ChooChoo ran and Commando rucked! Way to keep moving men!

    3 handsome man missles emerged from the darkness for a workout led by YHC that would prime us for IPC tomorrow. As Boyz II Men would say, “Not too hard, but not to soft”.

    5 sets / 5 Reps each exercise in clockwise rotation. P1 Pull-ups / P2 Jerkins / P3 Pole Dancers.

    COP2 – Parking Blocks – Each PAX gets their own parking block to begin. On all 4 – Perform 1 Mike Tyson and side bear crawl your way to the next curb. Do 10 LBCs after every 3 blocks until reaching the end.

  • Run Through The Pines

    2 High Impact Hunks emerged from the gloom onto Iron Haul for a run featuring many stops along the way doing 10 reps of various exercises to burn some calories.

    Glad to have you out this morning Commando, thanks for doing the run with me.

    Moleskin: The Why – it came up in conversation and it’s always great to be reminded of why we work out. There are many reason why, primarily for my family, not far from that is for my country. How do you want to pay your respects and honor those who have paid the ultimate sacrifice for our great nation to have the freedoms we have? I once ended every evening wasting my days away by drinking myself to sleep, on Memorial Day of 2024 that changed when I began to make healthier eating habits and exercise, by that 4th of July I stopped drinking and so proud to have stuck with these decisions so far. All this to say, don’t forget your Why. Stay the course and stay strong for your family, your countrymen and your predecessors.

    6 HIMs emerged from the cool gloom for a good ole fashioned Beaver beatdown at The Lunberyard! Tons of cars rolling in this morning and maybe high schoolers running track around the park got to see what these F3 men can do. Here’s what they witnessed:

    COP1 – this is a workout for time. Do not stop unless you absolutely need to. 4 exercises. Start w/ 10 reps in the first set, 9 in the 2nd set, 8 reps in 3rd set, descending by 1 rep every set until you finish on 1 rep.

    2 HIMs took on the dark, misty gloom with iron packed on their backs. Here’s what went down.

    • Ruck to the bleachers
    • March up and down all 6 bleachers / 10 squats after each set / 3 sets
    • March up and down of all bleachers / 10 Bulgarian split squats / 3 sets
    • Ruck around Snack Shack / 10 Incline Merkins at tables / 3 sets
    • Ruck Around Snack Shack / 10 bench step ups / 3 sets
    • Return to vehicles. Final stretch – lunge from speed bump to cars.
