  • Do You Actually Want to Know the Route?

With no hate, seven gloom warriors hit the mean streets to lay down some miles.  Here’s where:

    The Route

    • R on Pump
    • L on Sunrise
    • L on Waterford
    • L on Church
    • R on Pump
    • R on John Rolfe (or take Pump back)
    • L on Glen Eagles
    • L on Old Prescott
    • Back to SF

    Numberama, Nameorama, COT

    MOLESKIN

Not wanting to run out and back on Pump, YHC grabbed the Q and only called the out part.  With Mr. Rogers rudely not inviting anyone to Hawaii and Lulu in the clink, no furry friends accompanied us today.  Route was not a new one, but maybe new to some.  UpChuck has visited Curahee 3 of 4 weeks.  He seems smitten.  Or maybe Dunkin has better coffee, despite the lack of proper app functionality.

    ANNOUNCEMENTS

    • The Bridge Jan 25 – See Fudd
    • Breaking Bread – ongoing
  • Knock Before Entering

Seven men and two canines set out to find one new street in WestHoe.  Results: Negative?

    Here’s where:

    • L on Pump
    • L on Sancrest
    • R on Windingridge to the end
    • Reverso on Windingridge to Hickoryridge
    • Cross Falconbridge onto Cedar Chase
    • L on Buttonwood
    • R on Falconbridge
    • L on Raintree
    • L on Ridgefield
    • L on Pump
    • Finish around Godwin
    • Back to SF

    MOLESKIN

The run started with a discussion of obscure rules in football.  Whitesnickerdoodle is just glad we won.  As we reverso’d on Windingridge we passed the house of one of Mr. Rogers’s stepson’s old girlfriends.  He told a story of an unauthorized closed door and the subsequent walk of shame.  Ask him about it, I’m sure he’s happy to re-tell it.  At coffee, UpChuck namedropped the wrong name, but the moral of the story was the Beatles may not be the Beatles.

    MOLESKIN

The PAX was fire today, Swirl-Y was hyped.  Faceplant broke the screen in his Rivian and the rest of us shared stories of circumcision.  As always you had to be there.  DogPile is where it all started for YHC, very fun to celebrate the 300th career Q back there with a bada$$ crew.

    ANNOUNCEMENTS

One open spot for Breaking Bread in December

  • Late HC

YHC committed to a dry 65 degree broga post UpChuck’s bedtime, but the pull of the shavasana was too strong. Warriors, Cats, Cows, Scorpions, Cobras, Pigeons, Dogs, and many more were displayed.

Grooooove, at least I assume, since I can’t remember the route.

    MOLESKIN

The Green Pill is best left a surprise, so for this year’s Season of Giving the Red Pill was the suppository of choice.  The Red Pill generally has fewer side effects, just some minor diarrhea, nausea, and ED.  Those who suffered through were rewarded with a baked goods, their very own foreskin (one size fits most), and a rad Encino Man sticker to proudly display their fandom.

    ANNOUNCEMENTS

    • Magnum PI Day Saturday DogPile – wear a Hawaiian shirt
    • Secret Santa – still one day left to join
    • The Bridge – December 14th – See UpChuck for details
  • Wait, is Lighthouse from South Alabama?

Six men went in search of every pothole and open manhole in WestHoe.

    Here’s where:

    • R on Pump
    • R on Ridgefield
    • L into Deep Run Park (road)
    • Merge onto trail just past the DR Rec Center
    • Exit park onto Cottrell Rd
    • L on Cedar Knoll
    • L on Cox after circling the tip
    • R on Brookmont
    • L on Pump
    • Circle Godwin for time
    • Back to VSF

    MOLESKIN

The PAX kept tight until we hit Brookmont then the Gazelles left the Clydesdales behind.  The Gazelles apparently discussed the constitution while the Clydesdales agreed Creed rules, Train sucks, and Blink-182 is meh.  Gypsy found a big pothole, Handshake nearly fell into a manhole that would have presumably transported him to China.  Heat, no elevation, and more running are believed to be the best treatment for a sprained ankle.  And the moment of the day came just before launch when Lighthouse dropped his American accent.  Sadly YHC missed it.

    ANNOUNCEMENTS

Lifting up all the PAX and relatives with medical issues

    Mosey to the parking lot

    • Partner Wheelbarrow across lot
    • Scissor Sisters 3×10 R/L
    • Ring of Fire

    Numberama, Nameorama, COT

    MOLESKIN

If you don’t understand the title, just map out the loop.  Good suggestion by the PAX to skip the head on loops 2 and 3.  Oyster accused YHC of making this up on the fly.  But every meandering step was planned to keep you on your toes.  During the COP, the PAX questioned if a VQ is even a VQ if there’s no cadence to ridicule.  Jury is still out.  Merkin count was 150.

    ANNOUNCEMENTS

    • Chili Cookoff SOJ
    • Prayers for the USA
  • No One Told LJ

According to Senor Frog the clock said 4:30. Last Call might disagree. Either way, YHC grabbed the Q for some hot yoga and we’re not talking about the temperature. The secret to when, where, and at what time Broga might break out shall remain a mystery.

  • Bro Code With A Thrash of Metal

    Bro Code.  IYKYK.

    MOLESKIN

Metal was the topic of the morning.  Mr. Rogers is going to head bang to The Four Horsemen all night in downtown Waynesboro.  Rumor has it they are better than the real thing.  Ukraine prefers Indie Rock.
