  • Demon Dog

Lots of new roads were explored today.

    Here’s where:

    • L on Pump
    • L on Falconbridge to Ridgefield
    • Reverso on Falconbridge
    • R on Raintree
    • L on Ridgefield
    • L on Old Prescott
    • Back to VSF

    MOLESKIN

The consensus is that running sucks, but we should just do it.  Especially when there are starving children in Africa who would love to be able to run.  Oh, and a demon dog stared us down from the woods along Falconbridge.

    MOLESKIN

Pretty quiet morning, just some ferocious canines and talk of AI sex dolls.  Whitesnake was so appreciative of the pre-nounced directions that he decided to run it virtually.

    MOLESKIN

Somehow YHC has only Q’d SpiderRun once in the past year.  For those that like things simple that’s a good thing.  But some of us prefer route confusion to take our minds off the fact that we’re running.  Anyhow, great to be back on the sheet and everyone seemed to figure it out.  Credo is something like leave no dudes behind and leave no hills un-run, right?  YHC believes that was accomplished.

    ANNOUNCEMENTS

    • Prayers for Bodos’ family and all in and around western NC
    • New Monday workout at St. Chris’s track – see OBT
  • I Love the Sound of Men Groaning in the Morning

It’s funny how YHC hates getting wet except when Qing.  Then the PAX’s anguish sustains me.

Must be Q-drenaline, because nothing seemed that bad, but the PAX was full of complaints during the Clerkins.  Make it hard and they’ll come back is what YHC has always heard.  Perhaps we shall see.  Welcome Gonzo, Snuff can explain.

Nailed it!  Always a pleasure to give back.

  • Flesh Anchor

Even Bro Code needs a leader.  Someone has to present the brilliant idea of running it in reverse, or original style depending how long you’ve been around.

    Here’s where we went:

    • R on Pump
    • L on Ridgefield
    • R on Copperas

Pigskin nearly took on a car, Pigskin would’ve won.  Unless of course Chuck Norris was behind the wheel, then it would’ve been a tie.  The lead pack talked about a Flesh Anchor among other things.  If you know, you know.  If you don’t know, ask your mom.

    MOLESKIN

YHC hated to miss the launch of Green Mile but an opening on the Q sheet was the perfect cue to finally make the trek.  Lots of good things happening out there.  YHC brought some signature moves. The field was wet and muddy, just the way YHC likes it.  Plenty of groans there and at the mountain.  While leaving the PAX to stretch momentarily while grabbing my phone to record the COT, YHC heard one of the PAX say not to come back.  We’ll call that a win.  Keep posting.

Feels like there’s a lot of chatter about visiting a particular place when YHC has the Q.  Sometimes you gotta give the people what they want, and it’s always better to go there with friends.  There may not be a darker place on earth than the 30 yards or so before reaching the clearing at the Devil’s Perineum, bka Satan’s Taint.  Apologies to the dog and its walker startled by 8 men doing booyahs at the end of her driveway.  Splinter enjoys a good All-Skate.
