  • PR-ecipitation Punisher

A couple of stallions joined YHC as he kicked off training to PR his mile time by year end. As the pax joked ‘I think we’re getting wet,’ the downpour turned torrential. We did brocode to the Midlo High track, then it was each man for himself for 800 repeats, then back to the flag – all totaling about 4.5 miles of exhaustion.

Numberama, Namerama, YHC took us out. Prayers for Hermey’s upcoming surgery.

We immediately scattered like water drops on a hot skillet, as if the rain could get us any more wet.

  • One Amelia Bro made it worth it!

As YHC drove to the Green mile we contemplated doing the workout in my garage and wondered if anyone would be present on a moist morning. We were in luck as a basketball team showed up to see what the Green Mile had in store for them. The mumble chatter was strong this morning as we discussed 8 tracks, CD’s, Cassette tapes, etc. as the tunes blasted.

    Warm up: Usual stuff.

COP: To various song, perform various exercises.

YHC quickly took us out in prayer.

Rain and summer tour claimed the First Watch PAX.  YHC signed up for the Q in hopes that it would encourage a brother to leave the fart sack.  No so much.  No mumble-chatter today.

God is good all of the time!

  • Ruck-a-ccino

5 wet bandits made their way to the stop sign today. Some dawned umbrellas, some embraced the rain in a more natural way. 5:30 off we go

Did the typical route through the hilly part with a brisk pace. We managed to make it past Toby’s house before any HR violations. Topics today were Holly Madison, what age is appropriate for Jurassic Park, the importance of submarine regulations, and TSG found out that Flyboy is the Bubba Gump of Midlothian golf courses.

rain was consistent but couldn’t hold us back!

  • White Truck for Sale

8 Steeds lined up to pay the toll at No Toll but one Clydesdale couldn’t raise his frame above the bar. Machismo had the Q as called by 9pm the day before.

Pax moseyed to the tennis courts and under the memorizing impact of mumble chatter and the sunrise lit water tower, no one could keep in cadence for the classic SSH. There was talk of mutiny. YHC continued through and moseyed to the routines.

1st Quatro de Checko really just 4 guys in a triple check and a partner. Merkins, squats, run across the field.

Thang 2: Dora: 100, 200, 300 Lunges, LBCs, Arm Circles

Thang 3: Parking lot lines Cocaine bears half way. Squat ladder.

    Pay toll again.

Cool arama and with a cherry on top. YHC set the tempo on SSHs – pax could end the pain by stoping exactly at 10. Mutiny averted.

Announcements: Timberwolf has some sort of sport theme this summer.

Summer tour includes stops at various A.O.s

Prayer requests for Belay and healing for his herniated disk and safe travels to Iceland for his sisters wedding. Turns out the pastor pulled the rug out from under him, as he was going to administer the I dos.

Naked Moleskin: You guys are awesome. Glad to spend my mornings with you. Lift each other up and continue to shine your light. Keep it real. Machismo has a white truck for sale and here I get a call from Molly today asking to come see it. Could it be DKs wife? Lol she has no clue who David Kearfoot is.

  • aww hell naw

Still stiff from the convergence workout we got in some extra stretches. We mosied to the lower parking lot. Neck rolls, imperial walkers, helicopters, scorpion rolls, merkins, cherry pickers. The cool air made for good running weather. Long mosey to the wall for some hoedowns. At this point the janitor was curious and poked his head out to ask what we were doing. After the usual EH speal, he quickly said aww he’ll nah closed the door and proceeded with his duties. A good laugh was had by all. After this out leaf to a Broadway beat down. Hoe downs 15, 25, Bernie 100m, pull ups 10, 50m wind sprints @ 70%, 80%, 100%, Bernie 50m x3, rotate: 10ea Merkins, LBCs, wide arm, WWII @ 14 stations, lunge 25m, Bernie 25m.
Ring of fire= 20ea Squats, merkins, American hammers. Great morning gents

  • Late Night Q Sheet Grab

Noticing the Q sheet was open at 9PM last night, YHC decided to make sure that didnt happen. 8 kettlebellers had just enough energy post Convergence to swing some bells. Tzatziki was oddly early and Hermey had the hammer down to make it on timeish. After a short mosey the PAX picked up Hermey for an extra half lap. Mission statement, 5 core values, DMH, Andy Dufrane, SSH, wife stretches, LBCs and merkins.

After the heart was pumping the PAX picked up their bells and decided to take a walk to the back of the school.

As the PAX was walking, Q instructed overhead carry with a march, lunges, peoples chair with front presses, overhead presses, and chest pulls.

Once we hit the basketball courts the fort COP was a 5 exercise complex. Bent over rows, high pulls, curls, squats and overhead press. Performed sets of 5, 10, 15, 20 and 25 reps. Once that mess was complete, we continued our walk. Stopping at a nice patch of grass, the next routine was 15 half kneel wood choppers.

Next was a walk to the adjacent parking lot to flex some abs. Alabama prom dates, V ups and flutter kicks. Counts were 10, 20 and 30 reps per set.

With just enough time, the PAX finished up with a Dora. 100 calf raises, 200 skull crushers and 300 LBCs.

Time was called, numbers, names, announcements, PR. Hermey took us out in COT.

Always an honor to lead you gents.

  • Summer Tour Safari

Eight gentlemen including 5 summer tourist from the west and south converged at Atlee High School on this 53 degree and perfect morning.

    The Route:

The runners completed up to 5 miles that took them into Honey Meadows, Kings Charter, Madison Springs, Chickahominy Oaks, Taylor Farm, back into Honey Meadows, and back to the SF. The 3 ruckers walked into Giles and rucked for 45 minutes.

COT: Numberarama, Name-O-Rama, Annoucements, Yard Sale took us out.

    NMS:

It was great having 5 summer tourist to join us this morning. It is unlikely that YHC will see any additional summer tourist at Tomato Run because of the random stops idea. Thank you as well Splinter, Rosie, Handshake, and Bed Pan for being patient with YHC as he tried to navigate through Madison Springs which was more difficult than first expected. The title of today’s BB came from all of the nature sightings during the 5 mile run including a deer, a rabbit, and a fox.

    Announcements:

Summer Tour continues. Next random stop is 45 Minutes of Mary on Thursday.

    Gotta Run!

Great work from the PAX today.  Congrats to Pinto on his son’s marriage and his liver surviving.  Congrats and prayers up to Pinto and Fudd as they see kids graduate HS this week.  No Hornydo today.  Hope the back gets better.  Do not let the cougars mess it up further.

The beast was a bit of a mess with a wet and dewy field.  YHC made sure every inch of the PAX was covered in dew and grass and dirt.

See Slack for the Summer Tour.  Lunch in 2 weeks.

God is good all of the time!
